Chapter 9 - Chapter 10: End x Beginning Final

"What!?"

In a hideout outside Meteor City. An underground bunker with advanced computers was monitoring the border. Currently, two dots are moving towards the border.

The soldier monitoring this side of the border looked at the dots in shock and surprise. The two dots were moving at such speeds that a car would look slow compared to them!

The soldier did not hesitate to pick up the phone on his desk and call his higher-up. His forehead was drenched in sweat as the dots on the screen moved fast.

"Commander! I detected two individuals running towards the border! What should I do?!" The soldier asked with panic, his hand holding onto the phone, shaking.

The other side of the phone was silent for a moment before a serious voice came from the other side. The soldier paled as he waited for orders from the phone.

"What do you mean, what should you do? Gather the soldiers stationed with you, and kill them, simple." The soldier glared, clenching his hands. How should he do that when they don't listen to him!

"But, sir, these two individuals are moving faster than a car!" The soldier tried one last time to gather some extra troops. He does not want to die, especially when they are from Meteor City.

"Well, too bad. You either kill or force those two back. Am I clear enough? Now go do your job, that's why you are paid!" The loud voice tinged with disdain came from the other side.

Bam!

The soldier slammed his phone onto the counter, trembling from fear and anger. The two dots on the screen covered ground, barely a minute away before breaching the border and running into him!

The soldier stood up and ran out of the room. He jumped on a ladder that led out of the bunker on the surface and crawled up like a spider, scared for his life.

Boom!

The lid covering the hole burst open, and soldiers drinking and smoking looked at the soldier with raised eyebrows. Some even snickered in disdain.

"Well, look who it is! Little princess decided to come out of her room and join us!" The soldiers taunted, and a chain of laughter burst out of their lungs.

"Stop drinking and pick your weapons up! Two dangerous individuals are coming towards us!" The scared soldier tried to command his squad, only to be ignored.

"Instead of trying to make us do our jobs. Why don't you join us and take a drink? Wouldn't hurt you, princess~," The soldiers teased again, taking a shot and drinking it.

"Y-You imbeciles! I am telling the truth! Take your weapons and-Ugh!" The soldier screamed, only to stop as his lower jaw went missing. The soldiers paused, staring with blank faces.

Blood dripped on the ground as the soldier's eyes rolled up from pain and fear. His heart instantly exploded into pieces as a fear so profound exploded in his heart that it was impossible to decipher.

Boom!

A wave of malicious intent enveloped everyone present. Hands started shaking, their eyes trembled like a crazy lunatic, and their skin started glistening from sweat.

Crash!

The soldiers dropped their glasses, causing them to break into tiny pieces on the hard ground, like the sound of a million ants chirping. They all stepped back.

Blood flowing out of their nose and mouth, the wave of aura painted with a thick and cloudy bloodlust intensity that could shroud the sky for years without dissipating.

The aura acted on their human bodies, causing injuries to occur. Heart accelerated, their minds clouded, and they started shaking like crack addicts.

"Stop this!" They screamed, their hands rising and clawing at their faces like they're in pain. Their nails turned red, skin scratched and torn, blood flowing down like fresh paint.

They gouged out their own eyes, they bit off their tongue, and they crashed their heads into the ground repeatedly. They did anything they could to escape the fear they felt.

This all came from Breck.

"So this is what my Ren and hostile nen output does. I didn't think it would be this beautiful and amazing," Breck muttered under his breath with a sadistic look in his eyes.

Shizuku emerged from behind Breck, watching the suffering soldiers on the ground, and her dull eyes suddenly shrank to the point of a needle as she exploded her Ren.

Boom!

Another wave of hostile nen impacted the group of soldiers, and instantly they fell dead to the floor, their hearts exploding due to the fear they felt and the bloodlust emanating from the two.

Breck looked at Shizuku, his cheek becoming tinged with a hint of red as he felt her bloodlust. His eyes narrowed, and his tongue extended to lick his lips.

"Such bloodlust... It's making me want to do something naughty," Breck muttered to himself as he held himself back. The words of his mother replayed in his mind as he killed her.

"Breck... My dear. Don't force yourself on women in the future... That's the only thing I don't want you to do." Breck remembered nodding with a smirk, his blue eyes locked with his mother's ocean eyes.

Breck came out of his flashback and jumped down from a reinforced armoured vehicle. His red tie freely swayed in the soft breeze, and his slicked-back hair shone under the moonlight.

"These cars should be good enough to take us wherever we want to go... Where do we want to go?" Shizuku asked as she jumped down next to Breck.

Her Blinky appeared, and the dead bodies and the fresh blood from the floor were sucked into Blinky, the evidence of their murder vanishing like it never was.

"It's a couple of days before January starts. So we will go to Whale Island," Breck explained while opening the door of the armoured car for Shizuku.

Shizuku sat on the chair, her Blinky fading as Breck jumped over the car and got into the driver's seat. The key was thankfully still in the car, and Breck turned it.

Vroom!

The engine turned on, and Breck took off from the bunker like a jet. He skillfully moved, dodging obstacles and driving out of the trees onto the road.

Shizuku looked at Breck, her cheeks turning a faint red as she observed his face, concentrating. The way his blue eyes shine under the light, and the way his hands clench around the wheel.

"Breck, the fastest way to get to Whale Island is by boat. It's a remote island, so no airships go there," Shizuku explained, taking out her smartphone and searching the map.

"Wait! You had a smartphone all this time?!"
