Chapter 141 - Chapter 141: Tenrou Island

Ultear glanced at Zancrow. She knew that group's nature all too well. "The Council has never liked Fairy Tail. That bunch always causes them nothing but trouble."

"Hahaha~ Killing each other. Even more cruel than us dark guilds."

"Then let me go and burn them all to ashes."

As he spoke, Zancrow moved to leap down from the airship, but Azuma stopped him in time.

"Hm?" Zancrow paused and turned to look at Azuma.

Seeing that Zancrow was about to lose his temper, Azuma quickly explained, "Your flames are far too conspicuous. If Fairy Tail notices, it will affect the Master's plan. Let me deal with the Council's people instead."

Though clearly displeased, Zancrow knew Azuma was right and reluctantly stepped aside.

Azuma lightly leapt from the airship, his figure transforming into a shadow in midair before silently sinking into the sea below.

Those on the airship remained on high alert, waiting for Azuma's report.

At this moment, the sea surface was calm, with only the occasional seabird skimming past. The Council's ships had no idea that danger was rapidly approaching.

The airship soon passed over the Council's vessels, and as it drew closer to Tenrou Island, Hades fixed his gaze on the increasingly clear outline of the island ahead.

The sight of Tenrou Island was breathtaking.

It was composed of two connected islands. Above stood a massive towering tree, while below lay a layered terrain formed by one large and one small forest.

In this stretch of sea, Tenrou Island looked like a solitary blooming flower, exuding a beautiful yet mysterious aura.

Gazing down at the island, Hades recalled the past — the days when he and a group of like-minded companions had founded Fairy Tail together.

But as time passed, he had found his own path to follow.

Just as Hades was lost in memory, a tremendous explosion rang out from the direction of the Council's fleet.

"BOOM!!!"

One after another, the Council's ships exploded, flames shooting high into the sky as thick smoke billowed upward.

Azuma had already begun his operation and achieved initial results.

With the destruction of the Council fleet, only burning wreckage remained on the sea, the dense smoke forming black clouds that obscured part of the sky.

Azuma's actions were not only unexpected, but also ruthlessly efficient.

At the same time, aboard the airship, once the command "Move out" was given, the invisibility was immediately lifted. The massive airship appeared above Tenrou Island, becoming the only outsider in the island's sky.

The hatch opened, and the mages of Grimoire Heart leapt down from above, scattering toward different parts of the island.

Among them, the Seven Kin of Purgatory headed straight for Fairy Tail's camp, their goal being to eliminate the powerful S-Class mages.

Most of their combat strength was into ground operations, leaving only a small number of support personnel behind.

Wes Elwin stood at the hatch, preparing to follow the group onto Tenrou Island, but his purpose was not to fight — it was simply curiosity about the island itself.

Just as he was about to jump, Hades' voice rang out.

"You want to join the battle as well?"

"I'm just here to take a look. After all, after today, this little island might cease to exist."

There was a faint note of regret in Wes Elwin's voice.

With that, he leapt down from the airship. As he neared the ground, he used magic to control his descent, landing smoothly upon the soft earth.

The moment he stepped onto Tenrou Island, Wes Elwin immediately felt an unusual fluctuation of magical power. This force was perfectly integrated with the island itself, astonishingly harmonious.

This magic belonged to Mavis Vermillion — the founder of the Fairy Tail guild.

Her grave was located at the very center of Tenrou Island, yet in truth, she had not truly passed away, instead existing in a peculiar and wondrous state of being.

A strong sense of curiosity welled up in Wes Elwin's heart, and he decided to go see it for himself.

Thus, he began moving toward the central region of Tenrou Island.

As he ventured deeper, the surrounding natural scenery grew richer and more vibrant. The trees became denser, and the flowers more brilliant in color.

Along the way, Wes Elwin even discovered several rare medicinal herbs. He carefully harvested them, intending to study and use them later.

If not for the occasional sounds of battle and explosions echoing from around him, reminding him that a war was taking place, this stroll would have felt more like a peaceful outing in the countryside.

Wes Elwin had no intention of joining the fight. This level of battle simply no longer interested him.

"Is it possible I might run into Zeref?"

He did not encounter Zeref — but instead came across Levy, a mage of the Fairy Tail guild.

At this moment, Levy had just escaped the chaos of the battlefield with Gajeel's help and was preparing to search for her other companions.

The sudden appearance of Wes Elwin immediately put her on high alert, her eyes filled with wariness and tension.

[Just pretend I didn't see her.]

Wes Elwin paid no attention to Levy and walked straight past her.

He had no desire to come into conflict with anyone, but only a few steps later, the magical fluctuations behind him suddenly intensified.

He couldn't help but sigh softly.

"I don't want pointless fighting. Let's just pretend we never met."

"Bastard! I'm a Fairy Tail mage too, don't look down on me! Solid Script: Fire!"

Levy raised her magic pen and wrote the word "Flames" in the air. The glowing characters condensed and transformed into blazing fire, surging toward Wes Elwin.

"Interesting magic."

Smack!

With a casual slap, Wes Elwin extinguished the flames instantly.

Levy immediately followed up with "Solid Script: Butterfly!"

Countless brilliantly colored butterflies fluttered before Wes Elwin, obscuring his vision.

"Solid Script: Ice!"

A chilling aura spread through the air as the temperature plummeted.

Finally, "Solid Script: Thunder!" transformed into bolts of lightning that struck straight toward Wes Elwin.

Panting heavily, Levy had unleashed four spells in a single breath, desperately hoping they would have some effect.

"Did it work...?"

After casting everything she had, her heart was filled with anxious uncertainty.

When the dust settled, Wes Elwin was still standing there, completely unscathed.

"Not a bad idea. Confusion, control, then attack — that's a solid combo."

"Your magic has limitless potential," he continued calmly.

"The only flaw is that your magical power is still too weak."

Wes Elwin commented with genuine interest.

Word Magic — the power to turn written words directly into reality — truly was a dreamlike ability.

Levy's magic was like a doorway to infinite possibilities; every stroke of the pen represented a chance to create a miracle.

"If I remember correctly, your name is Levy, right?"
