Principles Codex

| This chapter serves as a codex of knowledge for the world within the novel. The information in this codex will gradually appear throughout the storyline. However, to further clarify the concept of the world within the novel, you may read this section to better comprehend the narrative.

★ General Terms:

i) Sky Father — The arbiter of the sky, the almighty creator who laid the foundation of the sky. The God whom humanity once worshipped. He cast humanity down to earth as a punishment for forgetting him.

ii) Sky Castrum — The birthplace of the Sky People (Aetherian). Once the sacred haven of humanity, now reduced to mere clouds and the remnants of what was once built.

iii) Aetherian — The Sky People who once lived under the favor of Sky Father. After their banishment, the Sky People scattered across the Earth, a foreign soil they had never once touched.

iv) Skyborne — The enforcers of divine law. A divine being made of light and stone.

v) Day of Banishment — The day when humanity was cast down from the sky to the earth.

vi) Tower of Babel — A tower that was erected by humanity out of desperation in an attempt to return to the sky.

vii) Library of Babel — A fourth dimensional space inside the Tower of Babel. It is believed that scholars used to offer knowledge to the library, in return for greater wisdom.

★ Power System:

Arcane Energy — An elemental energy channeled directly from the world's source. Commonly used among mages and wizards.

Status: Practicable through magic learning.

Tier: Common.

Blood Enchantments — When a weapon is infused with the wielder's blood, the weapon becomes significantly lighter to wield and allows for faster movement and greater agility.

Status: Practicable for magecraft experts.

Tier: Rare.

Memorial Rift — A fourth dimensional power that could shift space and time. Can be used to create a shortcut or distortion effect. Distortion causes illusion or temporal blindness. Once used by the Patron Liberians.

Status: Unknown.

Tier: Unrecorded.

Abundance — A healing magic that uses the essence of the surrounding nature as a medium to heal wounds and sickness. Healing efficiency depends on the user's potential, experience, and mana capacity.

Status: Practicable through magic and herbal learning.

Tier: Uncommon.

Rampage — Some extraordinary humans are born with a special talent that allows them to transform into beasts. This transformation is called Rampage. To transform, individuals must overcome their fears and awaken their Beast Gears.

Status: Limited to certain individuals with organ mutation.

Tier: Extremely Rare.

Summons — Summons allow the user to spawn creatures of Pure Fiction. These creatures can fight on their summoner's behalf. The strength of the summoned creature highly depends on the summoner's mana capacity.

Status: Practicable through summoning ritual and Soul Contract.

Tier: Rare

★ Important Group of Interest (GoI):

1. The Central Order — A unification of all central power, an alliance made to unify all Central Kingdoms under one banner to wage war against the Skyborne. This unification was formed a century ago since the initiation of the Sky Insurgency campaign at the ruin of the Tower of Babel.

2. The High Table Society — A syndicate of the noble houses across all regions. Control over goods' stocks, trade, slave market, and taxation. The syndicate was established to monitor the regional economic flow of all nations world-wide. Despite being an administrative organization, they're known for their hostility in business.

3. Scholars Assembly Association — A formal gathering of scholars and geniuses from across the world. This association was established during the construction of the Library of Babel to offer knowledge to the tower, in return for a divine favor. The association believes that the Library of Babel contains the answer to everything, yet answering nothing. Once known as Patron Liberian.

Leadership: Prometheus Ignamar

4. Sons of Genesis — A religious cult-like organization that still worship the Sky Father. Despite the chaos of the sky, these believers still cling to their faith, hoping that one day the Sky Father will lift their curse on humanity. They believe that they're a group of people who were chosen to deliver prophecies and divine messages of the sky.

Leadership: St.Mars Aurelius

5. Vulturebone — A group of highly armed scavengers who raid dungeons and villages. These raiders live on the outskirts of Nexaria. Although they're a small faction, their advanced technology allows them to go hand to hand against an army.

Leadership: Overlord Alexandra

6. Expedition Union — A root organization that was established to venture into the unknown of the world. The organization funds explorers and adventurers worldwide as a token of gratitude for completing commission. Valuable items such as relics, scrolls and treasure can be exchanged for currency. The union built outposts all over the world as a gathering spot and provides humanitarian aid.

[EXTRA NOTES]

Only one in a million children is born with a Beast Gears. Ordinary human do not have access to the gear.

The Beast Gears is a mutated part of the eternal organ that pumps a substance called Dew of Rage inside the body.

When a person activates their Beast Gear, their speed , stamina , and raw strength are significantly increased .

Slavery within the story was a common practice, it was practiced all over the novel's world and is highly regulated by the High Table Society.

Only those who have mastered the art of magecraft can use the Blood Enhancement technique.
