Chapter 364 - Chapter 364: Mewtwo Y! Yveltal? Transformation!

The Dynamax Cannon and the G-Max Wildfire collided violently, yet the outcome was revealed astonishingly fast.

The Dynamax Cannon completely crushed the flaming avian construct, and its remaining momentum slammed straight into the Gigantamax Charizard!

Gigantamax Charizard let out a painful roar as its massive body staggered heavily and crashed to the ground—this Dynamax Cannon was simply too overwhelming.

This result left nearly all the spectators present, as well as countless viewers watching the live broadcast, utterly stunned.

That was Champion Lance's Charizard, fully Gigantamaxed!

How powerful that move was went without saying, yet it had been shattered so effortlessly?

"This is just absurd, alright?! You don't even need to think about it—this dragon is definitely a Legendary!"

"The guy above is right. The League's official website just dug up information on Eternatus—it's the Darkest Day of the Galar region, the very source of Dynamax energy…"

"Another Legendary! And judging by its presence and strength, it's far more terrifying than the Galarian Moltres or Suicune from before. Who exactly is this Lucas?"

"Ahhh! Lucas oppa is definitely the strongest!"

One person told ten, ten told a hundred. Very quickly, most people learned of Eternatus's existence and background. Unlike other well-known Legendaries that people had at least heard of, information about Eternatus had always been extremely well hidden.

But now, Eternatus had finally revealed its presence to the world.

"This is pure domination—these two aren't even on the same level."

Blue smacked his lips as he watched the scene. There was no need to doubt Gigantamax Charizard's strength—the reason the fight was so one-sided was simply because Eternatus was far too strong.

"I seriously… how the hell am I supposed to win against Lucas like this?"

Blue covered his face in frustration. Today was Lucas challenging Lance, but Blue's dream had always been to become the world's strongest Trainer!

Yet now Lucas stood directly in his way at the summit—what was he supposed to do?

It wasn't a matter of confidence. Even against Lance, Blue believed he had the ability and the potential to challenge him, surpass him, and defeat him.

Because he was Blue Oak—he had that kind of talent!

But… Lucas?

Just look at that Eternatus on the field right now—how was he supposed to beat that in a 1v1?!

And Blue knew very clearly that Eternatus wasn't even Lucas's only Legendary. Necrozma, Rayquaza, Calyrex…

The moment he imagined himself facing those Legendaries one-on-one in the arena, Blue's face practically turned green.

My head hurts. Damn it, my head really hurts.

"Humans have limits, don't they? How are you even supposed to defeat an opponent like this?"

Blue rubbed his forehead helplessly. Since childhood, his dream had never changed—he was Blue Oak, he wanted to stand at the very top of the world, to become the strongest Trainer!

It was precisely because of this unwavering belief and determination that Blue had made it this far, growing step by step into who he was today.

But that didn't mean he wanted to compete with someone who was basically running cheats!

"There are no perfect Trainers or Pokémon in this world, Blue. You have to believe in yourself."

Red's crimson eyes were locked tightly onto Eternatus in midair as he spoke firmly to his longtime rival.

Red, who possessed a heart devoted purely to battle, refused to give up so easily.

Just like in the past—when Blue was injured by Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave, and even knowing how overwhelmingly powerful his opponent was, Red still entered the cave to challenge Mewtwo.

An opponent's strength was never a reason to give up.

"You really know how to seize an opportunity to lecture me."

Blue rolled his eyes. He was just venting a little, that was all.

And his pride would continue to drive him forward, pushing him to grow even stronger.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield—

"Charizard!"

After Gigantamax Charizard had been knocked to the ground, Lance narrowed his eyes slightly and called out to it.

"Rooooaaar!"

Gigantamax Charizard let out a low roar and forced itself back up.

Though the Dynamax Cannon had been devastating, after Gigantamaxing, Charizard's stamina had increased enormously—it hadn't been taken out in a single blow.

"Good! Max Airstream!"

Lance swung his arm down decisively and shouted.

Giving up was not an option!

At worst, he would lose—but even against a Legendary Dragon, he would never stop fighting!

Gigantamax Charizard roared skyward, spreading its massive claws as a silver-white, high-speed spiraling shockwave burst forth toward Eternatus.

Max Airstream—a Max Move evolved from a Flying-type attack.

"It's useless. Just a futile struggle."

Lucas's lips curved upward slightly.

"Dynamax Cannon."

The crimson light on Eternatus's chest and abdomen flared brilliantly as a blood-red beam shot forth, lighting up the sky.

Dynamax Cannon collided head-on with Max Airstream, unleashing an overwhelmingly powerful shockwave.

But in the very next instant, Dynamax Cannon shattered through Max Airstream's defense, surging forward at high speed and striking Gigantamax Charizard directly.

BOOM!

The Dynamax Cannon exploded upon impact, and Gigantamax Charizard cried out in agony.

Its enormous body crashed heavily onto the ground.

Red light scattered as the Gigantamax form dissipated, and Charizard reverted to its normal size—lying motionless on the battlefield.

That's it… it's over?

Everyone stared at Charizard in shock. The battle had just started—only two attacks, damn it!

"Charizard has lost the ability to battle. Eternatus… wins!"

The referee rushed forward to check on Charizard, then glanced nervously at the awe-inspiring Eternatus before swallowing hard and announcing the result.

This was utterly absurd!

This was Champion Lance's mainstay Pokémon—and it had been defeated in just two moves!

As the referee made the announcement, Charizard's icon on Lance's side of the big screen dimmed.

"Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap!"

"This is way too strong! If I weren't here in person, and if that wasn't Champion Lance, I'd seriously think this was a rigged match!"

"You're not alone—this is absolutely insane!"

"From now on, I'm officially a hardcore Lucas fan! I say Lucas is number one in the world! Who agrees? Who disagrees?!"

"Lucas oppa is the strongest! Lucas oppa is invincible!"

"Hey, how do you keep showing up in every single thread? Do you know Shadow Clone Jutsu or something?!"

The forums instantly exploded. Eternatus defeating Gigantamax Charizard in just two moves was simply too shocking—its visual impact was overwhelming.

"Tch—this lady just types fast, got a problem with that?"

Holding her phone, Green curled her lips at the replies. Weak and ignorant humans—how could they possibly understand this lady's power?

Humming smugly, she exited the thread and immediately entered another one with "Lucas" in the title.

Her long, fair fingers turned into afterimages as they flew across the screen.

"No one can defeat Lucas oppa! Lucas oppa is the strongest in the world! Ahhh, I love him so much!"

Satisfied, Green tapped "Send."

Hehe~ As the number one Lucas fan, would she ever tell anyone about this?

"Something's wrong with you."

Marnie glanced expressionlessly at the overly enthusiastic Green, her delicate face filled with undisguised disdain.

A simp was still a simp—clearly not very bright.

Did Lucas care about praise on some forum? Was he really that shallow?

…Emmm.

Back on the battlefield—

Lance paid no attention to the roaring crowd. With an expressionless face, he recalled his defeated Charizard.

"Dragonite!"

Without hesitation, Lance threw his final Poké Ball.

In a flash of white light, an enormous Dragonite slammed down onto the battlefield.

It was none other than the ancient Dragonite!

"This is my last one. Come on."

Ignoring the shocked gazes and murmurs caused by Ancient Dragonite, Lance fixed his sharp eyes on Lucas.

He had already shown his strongest side. To him, victory or defeat was no longer important.

Some things simply couldn't be resolved by sheer determination or an unyielding will.

Lance had long since understood that.

"As expected of you Lance—such a clean and decisive attitude."

Lucas raised an eyebrow, unsurprised by Lance's straightforward declaration of battle.

"In that case…"

Lucas recalled Eternatus.

"Hm?"

Lance frowned slightly.

"Prepare for battle—Mewtwo!"

A grin spread across Lucas's face as he threw a new Poké Ball.

Mewtwo?!

Lance's brows furrowed even deeper. Wasn't that Team Rocket's artificial Legendary?

Giovanni, seated among the spectators, was also taken aback. Ever since their reunion in the Valley of Creation in Kalos, he hadn't had much contact with Mewtwo.

After all, Mewtwo was now free, and Giovanni had never truly captured it.

To think Mewtwo had been captured by Lucas.

The Poké Ball opened midair, and a small, slender Pokémon appeared before Lucas, floating quietly.

Mewtwo Y!

"Hm?"

Lance observed it carefully. Though he could see traces of Mewtwo, it also felt distinctly different.

But that made no sense. According to Giovanni, Mewtwo was an artificial Legendary created using Mew's genes.

Could there really be a second Mewtwo in nature?

"This one is different from Team Rocket's. This is Mew's child."

Lucas smiled as he explained, briefly introducing its origin.

"Mew's child, huh?"

Lance pondered it—and indeed, Mewtwo Y really did resemble Mew quite a bit…

"This child is still just shy of adulthood, but even so, its power is already extraordinary."

Lucas lowered his head with a faint smile. Mewtwo Y was indeed not yet fully grown—about a week away, give or take.

But with its talent and species, its strength was already astonishing.

"I'd like to see that for myself."

Lance folded his arms calmly.

He had fought Giovanni's Mewtwo many times—how strong could an underage one be?

"Is that so? Then you'd better keep your eyes wide open, Cousin Lance."

Lucas's smile was brilliant.

If anyone thought his Mewtwo 2.0 was as simple as the first generation, that would be the real joke.

"Mewtwo!"

Lucas called softly.

"Meeew~"

Mewtwo Y's clear eyes were filled with resolve. It understood—it was fighting for Lucas.

An ominous, sinister red light began to gather, enveloping Mewtwo Y completely.

Lance's brows knitted together as an invisible pressure began to radiate from the now-indistinct form of Mewtwo Y.

The red light grew stronger and stronger, quickly shrouding the sky.

"SCREEEE—!"

A sharp, evil cry tore through the heavens as a pair of black-and-red wings spread from within the light.

A massive, entirely new Pokémon appeared before everyone's eyes.

Silence!

The entire Silver Arena fell so quiet you could hear a pin drop!

"????"

Lance's eyes widened slightly—even he was shaken.

A black-and-red avian body, ominous wings of the same colors, and two curved horns atop its head—

It was none other than Yveltal, the Legendary of the Kalos region!

But… what the hell?!

Wasn't that Mewtwo Y just a moment ago?!

"This… this is transformation? It can even turn into a Legendary?!"

Iris pointed at the Yveltal in the sky, her voice full of disbelief.

Ditto could transform into other Pokémon—but even into Legendaries?!

And that oppressive presence—it felt terrifyingly real!

"Incredible… is this Mew's transformation gene?"

Giovanni, watching from the stands, was no longer calm. He narrowed his eyes, staring intently at Yveltal.

Legend had it that Mew possessed the genes of all Pokémon, but the Mewtwo Team Rocket created lacked Mew's ability to transform, possessing only pure combat power.

Giovanni was certain now—this Mewtwo Y could not possibly be related to the Mewtwo he knew.

So where did Lucas get this second Mewtwo?

"Hehe~ already shocked? Mewtwo's performance is only just beginning."

Noticing the constant gasps around her, Green beamed brightly as she spoke leisurely.

She was very familiar with this adorable Mewtwo 2.0—its abilities were far more bizarre than that other Mewtwo!
