Leo and his comrades did not understand the meaning of Lillian calling him Denise.
Leo misunderstood Denis's next actions as him getting hurt by Lillian choosing to side with him, and said, "She's choosing me. You're the one she's breaking up with. She's my w-"
Lillian covered Leo's mouth again.
"I'm not his mistress. The ring he is wearing is our couple's ring. Check my bad, mine's in there," Lillian pointed at her bag on the bedside table.
Denise walked to the bedside table and checked her bag. The ring was indeed there.
Leo perked up and sighed in relief when he saw that Lillian still had their wedding ring as well.
"Then why did they have to hack our surveillance system?"
Denis was obviously complaining, and he was appealing to her with his eyes that he needed justice.
