Vincent looked at the screen and thought,
"They're still even — ten points for each team," he muttered seriously.
The head of the Shuro Clan began to speak. He was pale and thin, his expression unreadable.
"Not bad… Each of them is strong in their own way," he said in a flat tone before swallowing quietly.
The Shuro Clan — a famous clan from China. Their awakened ones have trained with katanas since childhood, channeling their inner energy into the blades until they become sharp enough to cut through steel itself.
Meanwhile, in the forest, David's team was heading toward the center. Noy, wearing his usual calm expression, said,
"The forest is only twenty kilometers wide and long. There'll be a lot of demons here. Ahh… I already feel like crying."
Leo added,
"Then we should hurry and kill more demons than the Chinese team."
"You're right," David replied. "We'll split into pairs. Noy, you'll go alone — act as our scout."
"Ohh, man, fine," Noy said with a lazy grin.
Leo nodded. "Then I'll go with Saiam, and you go with Miss Emma."
"Alright," David agreed.
Leo and Saiam headed to the left side of the forest, while Emma and David went right. Noy stayed behind for a moment — then disappeared into the trees.
At the same time, the Chinese team was annihilating demons. Xing had already slain five, while Lao Wei shot down several more with his arrows in seconds.
Stretching his arms, Xing sighed. "How boring… These demons are too weak. I want something stronger."
Li Kun replied calmly, "Don't rush, Xing. We'll have time to face the American Academy."
As he said that, a demon suddenly lunged at Li Kun from behind — but before it could even reach him, a laser beam shot out from behind and sliced it clean in half.
With a bored look, Xing glanced around. "Whatever. I'm going to find someone… hmm, who should it be? Oh, yes. He'll do perfectly."
Turning away, he began walking off.
Bo Hai, leaning on his spear with his eyes closed, asked, "Where are you going?"
"Does it matter to you?" Xing answered sharply. "I'll tell you this — don't interfere with my fight."
Lao Wei frowned. "What the hell are you talking about? Where are you going?"
Meanwhile, Ji Lan, sitting with her sniper rifle, watched it all unfold and thought, "God… what a mess."
Xing ignored them and walked away.
The scene was being observed by clan heads and the two strongest people in the world. Suddenly, the door opened, and everyone turned toward it.
An old man entered — Zhao Lao. His voice was frail but firm.
"Forgive this old man for being late," he said.
Yu Lan smiled. "It's alright. Please, have a seat."
Stroking his beard, Zhao chuckled.
"Haha, thank you. It looks like our boys are winning — seventy to fifty, isn't it? Not bad, not bad."
The head of the Tao Clan, masters of poison, replied with a calm smile. Their poisons were deadly — a single drop of their blood could kill if it touched an open wound. Yet their toxins also granted them the ability to regenerate severed limbs.
"Poison isn't always evil," the Tao leader said softly. "Sometimes it heals as well."
He was an old man, small in stature, his presence suffocating. Even standing near him made it hard to breathe — his very aura was toxic.
He spoke slowly, his voice carrying weight.
"Old Zhao, you're right. Our team is doing well — but the Americans are also strong. Don't you agree? Those two holding titles… they're the future of their nation, perhaps of the whole world. Many will rely on them."
His words radiated warmth, though they carried power. Zhao's eyes turned red for a moment, but his face remained calm.
"You're right, Tao," he said quietly.
Meanwhile, Xing was dashing through the forest at incredible speed when he sensed a powerful energy about a kilometer to his right.
Smirking, he changed direction and rushed toward it.
Up in the trees, a man in a black cloak stood silently. Taking out his phone, he sighed.
"God… The boss gave me such a boring mission. Ugh, I feel sick just thinking about it. Well, if it has to be done…" He dialed a number and said, "We'll begin soon."
A voice on the other end replied, "Yes."
After about five minutes, Xing reached the source of the energy. He stepped into the clearin
g, and when he saw who was waiting for him — a smile spread across his face.
