Chapter 28 - Hunting Beautiful Girls! Eriri!

Chapter 28: Hunting Beautiful Girls! Eriri!

"So, you brought them in to make it easier for you to hunt beautiful girls?"

For some reason, Yukino's voice carried a distinct hint of chill, both physically and psychologically.

"It's so cold!" Yui Yuigahama and Kato Megumi, who were sitting nearby, both involuntarily shivered.

Who knew Ren would nod with a completely serious expression. "Of course."

Just as Yukino was about to launch into a lecture, he hooked his lips, changing the subject. "Another purpose is to find some friends for my lovely club member, Yukino. You don't have any friends, do you?"

"???" This sentence seemed to provoke her. She quickly retorted, her voice sharp. "I remember the name of every student in the entire school."

Ren raised an eyebrow provocatively. "Then do you have friends?"

"..." A moment of silence. "That depends on how the word 'friend' is defined… If…"

Yukino was about to explain her complex and lonely understanding of the word when Ren immediately stopped her. "Stop!" His face darkened, and he mercilessly scoffed. "Someone who can spout such convoluted theories cannot possibly have friends."

"You…" Yukino glared at him, feeling an unprecedented sense of disdain.

Ren didn't care in the slightest. He directly motioned to Yui and Megumi, slapping two pieces of paper down on the table. "Come on, write down your club application forms, and you'll be our club members."

"Mm."

"Okay!"

Yukino was momentarily choked with anger, glaring at him irritably. Ren simply returned her a joyful, triumphant smile. This guy!

Yui diligently filled out the application. Megumi's gaze, however, subtly shifted between Ren and Yukino, a thoughtful, unreadable expression on her face.

After the applications were written, Ren handed them to Hiratsuka Shizuka. Holding the forms, her expression was peculiar. "I really don't know how you managed to trick others into joining this strange club of yours."

Ren chuckled. "Perhaps it's my personal charm, Sensei."

Shizuka-sensei rolled her eyes. She stamped the two applications and waved her hand, dismissing him. "Go on, go on."

"Thanks, Shizuka-sensei. If you ever run into trouble, call me. I'll sort it out for you."

"You? I'm a teacher."

"Even teachers have things they can't do… like getting married?"

After saying that, Ren immediately exited the door, closed it, and zipped away.

"..."

"YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Her angry roar echoed in the office.

"Still one person short." Ren walked down the corridor, wondering who to look for, when a flash of gold streaked past. "Hmm?"

Looking closely. Blonde hair, twin tails, a beautiful girl. "Eriri!" he called out.

The girl in front turned around. It was Eriri herself, Sawamura Spencer Eriri. She was his classmate in elementary and middle school, and now in high school. Although they weren't in the same class, they often saw each other. It was just that with the new semester, he had been busy.

"Ren!" Eriri stopped and waited. When he reached her side, he quickly observed her. She was not in good spirits. He immediately noticed the faint dark circles under her eyes. As a good friend, he understood.

He teased, "You didn't procrastinate again and pull an all-nighter to finish your manuscript, did you?"

Eriri opened her mouth, revealing her small fangs, and glared at him 'fiercely'. "A… a painter's work can't be called procrastination!" However, she felt very guilty. Procrastination was a fact. But she also felt guilty about the word 'painter'. On the surface, she was the ace of the art club. In reality, she was a famous doujin artist named 'Kashiwagi Eri', and she drew the 'lewd' kind.

She couldn't let this guilt spread, so she immediately changed the subject, staring at his face with a resentful expression. "Why haven't you looked for me recently? Have you been hooking up with shady people?" She had the air of a resentful little wife.

"Of course not. It's just been busy. When I have time, I'll come find you. I'm still waiting to admire Teacher Kashiwagi Eri's masterpiece." Saying that, he reached out and stroked her little head.

Eriri's eyes darted left and right. Finding no one else, she didn't pull away. Of course, I'm not doing it willingly! Her cheeks were flushed, and she lifted her chin proudly. "You just wait and see." In reality, she felt sweet inside. He still cares about me; he noticed my state and remembered his promise.

Ding-a-ling-a-ling. The warning bell rang. He withdrew his hand. With the warmth gone, she felt a sense of regret.

"Eriri, let's walk home together after school. I have something to tell you." He left that message, waved, and returned to his classroom.

"Mm." Eriri, filled with anticipation, smiled brightly.

"Those two!" By the trash can, a boy wearing glasses had a gloomy expression.
