In a clearing in the forest at night, a man and a woman were engaged in a fierce battle.

Shinobu, wearing a butterfly-patterned haori, gracefully swung her blade, attacking again and again, but failed to harm the man in the slightest. "You evil demon!" Veins popped on her usually calm face. She would never forget this demon's face. Upper Moon Two, Doma. The demon who had killed her elder sister.
She had been drinking tea infused with wisteria poison every day, all to turn her body into a poison potent enough to kill an Upper Moon. This was her only lifelong wish. But now, facing him, she realized how powerful he was. It was almost impossible for her to kill him with her current strength.
"I remember now. Your elder sister is Kanae Kocho, right?" Doma smiled, saying words that angered her even more.
"Don't you dare mention that name!" she charged forward, her extremely thin Nichirin Blade thrusting towards his head. Her strength was insufficient to cut off a demon's head; she knew this. That's why her blade was shaped like an injection needle, allowing for better injection of poison.
Unfortunately, her strength was ultimately too small. Doma simply flicked his fan. A wall of ice blocked her path. "!!!" The blade pierced into the ice, difficult to pull out.
