"Aaaaaaahhh…"
An ethereal, beautiful and warm voice resonated across the white cracked and bleeding void.
However, its tone was definitely from a bored goddess, for only such an enchanting sound could originate from a powerful entity.
"...Aaaaa-...aahh-... Tch."
Yet again, the Goddesses seemed annoyed at her own action, quite evident thanks to her frustrated face while observing a somewhat big glowing sphere of mud in her hands.
The area of the goddess was nothing more than a white and silent infinite void. The only visible objects were a Lake of black and red-glowing substance, and in the middle of that Lake, there was a white two floors house with a radius of dirt.
The Goddess was wearing a white T-shirt, she also had her old "stockings" on and her horns kept their size. Her long sky hair did not seem to be affected by the mud.
But overall, the Goddesses was Tiamat, the Mesopotamian mother. If only a little taller and without the "motherly" attitude of the original. She seemed more "human" thanks to her expressions.
Finally, Tiamat was in the middle of the mud, holding a sphere that was gathering an insane amount of energy from her, but she still did not feel any weaker at all.
I'll never understand how some people can talk out loud their thoughts when alone in stories. Like, do so many genuinely just like to blab and blab about what they're thinking in solitude, or is it just a tool to have the characters speak their thoughts and tell the audience about the plot?
These were the absent-minded thoughts of Tiamat.
Either way, I never really found such moments enjoyable. Passionate scientific goofy characters were passable to me, if only just barely. And when a character is absolutely insane, that is totally okay, as it shows just how wacky they are.
The goddess looks up at the white cracked sky with a bored yet reminiscing expression.
… But even with all the years I've spent here, I never liked speaking to fill the unbearable void.
Apart from all the crying and wailing back then, I could never stand to just bumble on and on while alone.
Tiamat lets out a sigh and slouches, she looks back down to the sphere with a somewhat irked face.
This thing is taking too long… Maybe I'll just put myself into 'rest mode' to pass the time faster.
Tiamat then sits down and pulls the sphere with her, she wraps her arms and legs around it, and puts her head on it. It was like an egg being warmed by its mother.
The goddess closed her eyes, and even if she wasn't exactly sleeping, she came close enough that her memories served as a 'dream'.
—
Everything was chaos, there was no sky or floor, just some abstract form of existence. That is, outside of a few areas, where there were some entities giving form to the chaos.
Tiamat was such an example, as she created a sea of "salt water" in a giant radius, in a way giving a floor to the Chaos. Yet the sky was a myriad of colors and nebulous cosmic beauty.
The goddess herself was doing nothing more than just standing still and looking over the horizon with a neutral yet bored expression.
With whatever abstract form of 'time' there is in Chaos, it has been many 'years' since she had moved on from leaving her old life and turning into the goddess she is now.
But that is not to say she enjoyed the transition nor what the second chance implied. For she had a responsibility to bring life to the Mesopotamian pantheon. A thought that brought immense displeasure to her.
A voice suddenly makes itself known to the goddess. "Such a face is not befitting of your incomparable and unique beauty, my Tiamat."
Tiamat rolls her eyes. "What do you want, Abzu? I already told you that I'm not interested in-... Wait." She stopped mid sentence once she realized that the voice of her 'wanna be consort' was different from usual.
Instead of the male ethereal voice, now there was a female one. And it was one very familiar to her.
Turning around, Tiamat was beholding to another God that took on her own form, if only with a few differences.
She only realized later because of the routine she built up with Abzu, the god who is depicted to be her 'husband' in the future.
Ever since Abzu laid eyes on her, he has been attempting to basically 'get in her pants', and even with Tiamat knowing it was necessary to give birth to the first gods and then humans, she has been rejecting the not so subtle and crass advances from the fresh water god.
She never felt any love towards Abzu, quite on the contrary actually, she hated how single-minded he was towards her. Even if he learned about concepts that weren't still a thing from her little by little, that obscene drive to fornicate as animals was abhorrent to her.
The memory of a sea-like serpent monster trying to tentacle rape her was still fresh on her mind. And although he never even got close to wrapping around her, and after giving a beating that she suspects turned him into an 'M', the mere attempt was enough to forever mark him in the top of her shit list.
There was another list above that one called 'shetos list', reserved for those genuine hateful monsters out there. And the only reason Abzu was not in it was thanks to the fact that the god did literally not know any better, comparing him to an animal back then is not wrong. Not in an insulting or demeaning way, but in this Chaos, she was the most 'human-like' entity around.
But now, she could only look at Abzu -who looks exactly like her- with a raised eyebrow. "... Why do you look like that?"
Abzu shrugged nonchalantly -something he learned from Tiamat- and put her arms under his new chest, showing off the pair of mountains with a smug face. "After our last talk and how you shared your preference towards a more 'female' appearance, I chose to take on a form you might enjoy."
…Okay, I sort of get it, but why me of all-
"So I started to experiment, many forms did I take, but not a single one of them satisfied me enough. But I had an… Epiphany?" He looks at Tiamat with doubt, asking if the word was correct, to which he got a nod and resumed his speech. "I had an Epiphany! If there's only one beauty in existence, then clearly she is the most supreme form of 'female' there is! Therefore, I think you'll enjoy this!" Once again, he started to show off the pair on his chest while making an alluring pose.
Tiamat had questioned herself again if creating the Earth by herself and then fucking off wasn't the worst of ideas. But she didn't know how to do it.
So, without changing her expression and unknowingly making Abzu nervous, she considered the pros and cons.
Okay, I can understand the thought process behind the idea. But I'm not narcissistic enough to love myself that way.
But I can't keep putting off my duties for later, I will have to eventually make the first people…
Tiamat keeps looking at Abzu in deep thought.
…Thinking about it, I loathed the idea of calling a man my husband. My orientation hasn't changed with even all my time here and my only form of interaction being Abzu.
Leaving behind my own view on love that stuck with me, I can… sort of tolerate his appearance now… at least it is better than a man's.
With this, Tiamat internally gathers her will and tries to avoid gagging about what she's about to do. But it is now or never, as she knows she will keep looking for excuses to put things off later.
"...A-allright then. Let's make babies." The 'words' leaving her mouth somehow almost killed her soul, but all she could do was sigh and start walking towards Abzu with a sick but determined face.
Abzu sighs. "I knew this wouldn't- …Wait what?" He finally processed what Tiamat said, surprised at her finally accepting and being so forward that it was so out of the routine the two had until now.
"U-uh, ho-old on-!" He even backs up a little at the approaching Tiamat. Abzu didn't even put up any resistance when she grabbed and locked both of their hands together.
Tiamat blinked at the surprised and red face of Abzu. "...Well, not gonna lie, that's a cute face." He only got more red.
The goddess did not say that because she thought Abzu was cute, but only because seeing her own face being embarrassed was genuinely cute to her.
…I hope this is a one time thing… and that I don't turn narcissistic like Gilgamesh the Clay Fucker.
—
Abzu looks at the mixing oceans with an offended expression, while Tiamat had a bored face herself. The both of them holding each other's hands.
"... I feel used."
"Abzu-"
"You tricked me."
"Well-"
"You only needed me for my ocean."
Tiamat rolls her eyes. "Abzu, these waters are literally part of us, this is basically the same thing."
Abzu scoffs. "Oh really? If it is the same, then surely you wouldn't mind doing the real thing."
Tiamat adverts her eyes, something that Abzu knew she did whenever she lied or couldn't come up with an answer. "See! Yes, we might as well be our oceans, but it doesn't even come close!"
The goddess sighs. "Listen, this is as comfortable as I will ever be to do this." She tries to placate the moody god with compromises. "How about… we finally become…" She once again tried to not throw up. "...Husband and Wife?"
With that Abzu mood brightened up, only for him to be confused shortly after. "... Didn't you say that males are the husbands and females the wifes? Wouldn't both of us be wifes?"
"...I mean, there are roles in relationships where one of the pairs takes 'the pants' so to speak. At least sometimes." That only confused Abzu further. "Look, even if you look like me, you will be the husband and I'll be the wife."
Tiamat shrugs. "And really, remember that I told you people can choose what they want to be and how they can be called as?" She received a nod. "This is basically that. It's about being comfortable with what you are." Tiamat shows an unsure expression now. "Although, what is actually what you would prefer? Be husband or wife?"
Leaving aside that I don't actually love him, and I'm only making this relationship a thing so that in the future the records are what they are supposed to be. I would feel… extremely shitty calling him something he does not want to be.
…Maybe I'll just try to leave someone to deal with the records, or maybe the world will fix history by itself without my input.
Abzu thinks about the matter. "Hmm, I would prefer being the 'husband', actually."
Okay, that's one loose end taken care of. This universe confuses females with males almost all the time, that this actually might not even matter.
Tiamat glances at Abzu. "And… about your new looks… are you gonna keep them? You shouldn't if you don't feel comfortable… Just change after this tho."
Abzu observes his own body. "...I don't find it bad at all, truly. I don't think I will ever get tired of it, after all, it is you." He finishes with a smug expression.
Tiamat scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Really smooth. But I guess if you're comfortable as you are now, I'm happy for you. And you know, sometimes it takes a man to become best girl."
Abzu chuckles at the absurdity of Tiamat and daydreams. Maybe this wasn't what he hoped for, but this time he advanced his relationship with Tiamat a lot, and maybe in the future he will get a lucky strike again.
Then both of them turn to look at the waters in silence again.
…
"...Wait, did you…" Tiamat looks at Abzu with suspicion, he gets nervous. "Abzu… What was the first thing you did when you took on my form?" The glowing eyes just made him sweat all the more.
—
"I'm gonna kill them! Can they not keep quiet for just five minutes!? It is impossible to sleep!" Abzu was complaining rather loudly to Tiamat.
"Abzu, we are primordial gods, we don't need to sleep. And they're kids." Tiamat responded back without any heat, just tired at both the annoyance their 'children' cause in their oceans, and at Abzu who keep complaining time and time again.
"Oh don't use that 'they are kids' excuse! I know you hate whenever they start playing around your ocean too!" Tiamat looked away, and they both knew that her husband was right.
If Tiamat had to compare the situation to something, it is like having a herd of cats climbing up to you for food. That's what it felt like whenever their 'children' played in the waters.
"How about we talk of what you've been up to?" Nevertheless she tried to distract Abzu from his annoyance. "I know you got a lot of mirrors in your place… at least ever since I let you do those things while looking like me."
Tiamat actually never forbade Abzu from having fun with his new appearance. She never felt like she should have any say over what Abzu should do on his own. And considering she'll never sleep with him, she absolutely would not keep him from that.
Abzu shrugs, fortunately taking the chance to change the subject. "I have been trying a few, uhhh, 'dresses'?" His answer was a nod. "Dresses! I even brought them with me this time! As I know they'll be even better on you!" He then pulls a sphere of water and it expands, with it, showing a lot of different outfits.
Tiamat inspects them and rolls her eyes at some of them being really suggestive, as that was expected of her husband.
What unnerved her wasn't the feathery ones, but those that looked like they belonged to the modern era. Maid, casual but fashionable clothes, princess-like, bikini armor, lingerie, panties and-
"...Is that a white t-shirt?" She picks up said clothing.
"I haven't named them, but sure, you can call it that. It actually is the first cloth I created, a way of 'testing the water' as you said." He tilts his head. "Do you wanna put it on?"
Tiamat nods and does so. The t-shirt was pretty comfy and reminded her of her real home.
She stretches and touches the t-shirt, but overall, she's more than satisfied with Abzu's work. "It feels amazing, Abzu. You did a really good job with this."
He smiles. "Thank you! You can keep them as gifts!"
Tiamat experienced genuine gratitude towards Abzu for the first time. A foreign feeling to her.
He then stares as if inspecting a certain part of Tiamat's body. "Although… Somehow, it highlights your breasts while also hiding your figure. It is paradoxically sexy, if you ask me."
And there it goes.
…But, I guess that's just how he is, heh.
—
"Mummu is gonna help me finally get rid of the younger pests."
Tiamat hears Abzu's words with no reaction. She's just looking at the horizon, and his tone was unusually calm.
"You are not going to say anything? It is our 'children' who I will kill."
The goddess nearly flinched, more so to the word than the acid venom in his voice, but all the time in Chaos and preparation for this day was enough to help hide her reaction. However, it wasn't enough for her to make peace with it.
She turns around and looks at Abzu. He wasn't as he usually is. No jokes or inappropriate advances, no complaints, no ogling her, no smile. Just a neutral but frowned face.
Tiamat only barely opened her mouth, but no words came out. "..." She slightly shook her head and finally spoke, but she still seemed out of it. "... I… I won't stop you. Just… be careful, with… being overwhelmed? By numbers or surprises…"
Abzu did not react. "... You will not ask me why?"
Tiamat furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, not understanding why exactly Abzu had to be so different in the last moments she would ever see him. But she didn't know if he being casual about it would have been any better.
"... It wasn't because… of all the noise?"
Abzu half scoffed, half laughed. "Do you really believe it is just because of that?"
He did not receive an answer, Tiamat still wasn't sure what to make of it. "... Do you remember what you looked like when Kingu, Mummu, Lahmu and Lahamu were born?"
Tiamat did not know, her memories of the event are somewhat blurry, she still does remember seeing them rise from the water and explaining things to them. But remembering her expression back then wasn't something she did. So she shook her head.
However, that made Abzu upset, his cold rage obvious by how his pupils shrunk and almost bare his fangs. "... When they rose, your face showed an emotion I was never the target of. It filled me with an unbearable rage, that it took me by surprise when I didn't immediately kill them the next second."
That shocked Tiamat, as she never felt that Abzu genuinely hated their 'children'. Always thinking that his complains and genocide plans were a playful thing to bring up with her. Or it was just venting out grievances, with the biggest probability being that Abzu, being a primordial god, just did not have the same set of values as her or any normal human.
"I have been trying to get your love since I first laid eyes on you. A love that only grew more from my part as we spent time together. Apart from your beauty, how you would teach me about concepts I could have never thought of if it wasn't for you. Despite the first poor impression, you never told me to leave you alone…"
The water around Abzu started to boil, his fists were bleeding, and a seething expression was on his face. "And yet, they have had it since the second they were born."
Abzu relaxed after a minute, he couldn't keep looking at the stunned face of Tiamat any longer, so he gave her his back.
He wasn't a fool, he very well knew that Tiamat did not love him yet. But he was not about to destroy the progress he built up back then.
The only problem is that he reached his breaking point. He no longer could contain his wrath. How as more gods and humans keep popping up with no end, everyone kept receiving her unconditional love. He was envious.
"... Goodbye, Tiamat."
The goddess couldn't keep up with the honesty Abzu showed her. So she looked at the back of Abzu, leaving in slow motion.
…That's it. I will not see him again, I will go on a war path after his death, be defeated, and then sealed in the reverse side.
Just a little while longer and my role as Tiamat will be over.
I won't have to worry about the world trying to correct and burn any deviation I might do.
All I have to do, is nothing.
…
"Abzu."
He does not deserve that.
The god of fresh water stops in his tracks.
He deserves the truth.
Abzu looks back at Tiamat.
"... I don't…" She faintly shakes her head. "... I don't love them…" Tiamat felt both a weight off her shoulders, and incredible fear at what she confessed.
It is Abzu's turn to be shocked. He couldn't mutter a word, but he turned around to face Tiamat properly.
"... I've always acted as their mother, because in a way, I am. But… I never felt genuine motherly love for them. I couldn't say it to their faces, no? So I just kept my mouth shut and taught them, made sure they would be fine."
She wraps her arms. "It was awful, you know? They think the Chaos of me, but I just can't love them as they think I do."
Abzu covers his face in confusion. "But. Then. Why did you have that…"
Tiamat chortles. "It wasn't love you dumbass… or at least, it wasn't love for them, but more so at what they represented."
She almost laughs again at the even more confused and baffled expression of Abzu.
But she manages to calm down and explain. "Abzu, there were only you, me and the Chaos back then. What those four were, they were new life. And it was… beautiful."
Tiamat starts to gain a nearly blissful and energetic tone, which only gets greater as she goes on.
"They will keep on going, long after you and I are gone. They will have children, their children will grow up, their parents will die, but they will move on. Then those children will give birth to more, and then more, on and on. All in a cycle of life and death that will have an uncountable number of both horrible and beautiful moments. Every tragedy, every act of kindness, every life."
She looks at Abzu with an indescribable smile. One unbothered by the weight of faking and hiding her feelings, no lies, only the freeing truth.
"We weren't alone anymore, Abzu. In the midst of Chaos, Life found a way. What follows is bigger than you or I. All future history started here. The unlikely happenstance of it is so baffling, that it gives an indescribable beauty to everything else they will do… I couldn't have been happier, I couldn't have loved that moment more than I did."
Abzu is witness to Tiamat's genuine happiness for the first time. But it was short-lived, despite him wanting it to last forever. Her downcast and guilty expression took turn to appear.
"...And yet, I couldn't love them as my children… Heh, I know the only way I would do so, is if we had done it in the appropriate way, but…"
"But you don't love me."
Tiamat looks away, but funnily enough, it doesn't hurt Abzu at all. He was happy.
"Hehehe…HEHE HAHAHAHAHAH!"
His laughter was contagious enough that it even dragged Tiamat into it.
"Ha hah… Hah-haHAHA!"
Both primordial gods were laughing their pain away.
And after a while, they finally stopped and looked at each other with a smile. The scene would have been beautiful with a sunset, but there was only Chaos. However, that in itself brings beauty to it.
Abzu crosses his arms and sniffs. "You know, I don't have the urge to go and be rid of those annoying pests anymore."
Tiamat would have been shocked if she had the energy for it anymore, the moment where she told the truth was draining to her so much that she couldn't be bothered to worry about deviations. "You mean, now that you don't feel envious of them, you don't want to bother."
Abzu scoffs and holds his head high in good humor. "But of course. Those annoyances aren't worth my attention anymore! Why waste my time on them? I'll just let them drive each other insane. Really, I'm merciful today."
Tiamat gains an evil smirk. "Says the serpent that was crying like a bitch after a few slaps from me."
"You are exaggerating things." Abzu's tone was plain.
"Like a bitch~" Tiamat started to sing.
"I was literally a serpent made of water! How could I cry!?"
"Like a Mega Bitch~"
"I was going easy on you, Tiamat! I wasn't actually fighting you! Only, you know!-"
Tiamat raised a fist and Abzu instantly put up his arms on guard. When the hit didn't land he finally noticed the shit-eating grin on her.
"Aww, it's been a while since I've seen your red face, Abzu~" Her voice could not have more smugness in it without causing an event horizon.
"Bah! …Wop!" Tiamat then pulls Abzu in a headlock with her right arm. They both shrink their horns to avoid bothering the other.
And now they're being playful, like good friends.
"Haha! You know I have always been the better fighter of the two!"
"Heh! More like Chaos personified."
"I will take that as a compliment."
Abzu chuckles, but soon notices that Tiamat isn't roughhousing anymore, the lock wasn't as strong as before.
He didn't need to look at her face to know why, because droplets of water fell on his hair.
All Abzu could do was serenely smile, rise with Tiamat's arm still on his shoulder and put one of his own around her.
The two were now in a side hug.
Yet, Tiamat's breathing was still erratic, and the tears wouldn't stop.
It was the first time he had seen her cry, and he was glad it was out of relief.
"I love you, Tiamat." He made his honest feelings known.
"*Hick-hick!* T-thank *Hick!* Y-you Fo-or ever- *Hick!* Everything! *Hick! Kgh!* Abzu!"
Abzu squeezed in reassurance, Tiamat squeezed back, their calm oceans were mixing but not bringing new life, just creating fluid currents, and both intertwined their tails together.
Despite the first meeting, despite all the annoyance Abzu brought to her, she realized that she was grateful to have someone around. He was the closest person in her life now, and wouldn't have it any other way.
—
"Mother… Father has been killed by Enki." Kingu was trembling with uncontrollable rage and sadness while bowing to Tiamat, the memory of the younger god after his act will be forever fresh in his mind.
"... Why?"
"... He believed Father was preparing himself to kill the younger gods, so Enki struck him by surprise. He used a spell to put Father in deep slumber and left Mummu in daze. My sibling fell first, and Father…"
Kingu's voice was raspy out of sheer rage. "Enki boasted of how even when Father barely broke free from the spell, it was already too late… He even went as far as to create a temple with Father's remains."
Tiamat looked down at the tablet of clay in her hands, her face inexpressive to everything. But she noticed that the clay had a few drops of water in it.
… Why?
Eleven humanoid yet monstrous figures rose from the Mud.
Tiamat's tone was flat and emotionless. "Kingu, you will command them. They're not actually alive, think of them as really advanced golems. But they should be strong enough to get the job done."
"Yes, Mother."
Tiamat turns around and offers the Tablet of Destinies to Kingu. He does not comment on the tears dropping from Tiamat's face.
She then looks in the direction where Abzu used to come from over the horizon. "Let's go and kill those sons of bitches."
And they embarked at once, her domain extending on their path, the tears still falling.
… Why?
The question in her mind is still unanswered.
Their path was blocked by an army of gods and a male god as their leader, he was equipped with a bow and arrows, a spear, a club, a net and an axe. The storms were unlike anything Earth would see in the future.
Tiamat cleans the tears off her face, and for the first time, prepares herself to fight against her own 'pests'.
Taking on her giant form at a fast rate and towering over the army, her war cry is the signal for the battle to start.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!"
—
Marduk grunts as his work is done, he used Tiamat's body to create the Earth, Heaven, and the Milky Way. The stable ecosystem was made in his vision.
Now, with the Tablet of Destinies in his hands ripped from Kingu's body, he is ready to take his very well earned place as the King of Gods.
"I gotta say. I still got no idea how you managed to create all of this with my carcass." The fear inside Marduk's soul appeared again, the voice of the primordial goddess in a casual tone told him that the dreadful battle was somehow not over yet. "Props to ya tho. But I'm sure that Abzu could have done a better job than you, he always had skill with outfits and more, I'm sure he could have done this in his sleep."
He ignores the insult and turns around, only for him to see Tiamat in the smallest she has ever been, her size was at least on the tallest group of humans. Her legs were still distorted resembling her more monstrous form, just as her big horns, but she was smaller than his pinkie finger.
Marduk noticed her power also diminished, even if her mud was still with her, the danger was nowhere near as it was in the start of the battle.
"I would ask how you survive, but I would be wasting time for us. You're lesser now. I just have to ensure you won't come back." He drops the Tablet and picks up his axe that reaches the heavens.
Tiamat chuckles. "Hehe, I'll let you in on a little not so secret." She taunted him.
The axe split the clouds and fell precisely on Tiamat, the incredible force behind the swing would have parted the ocean… and yet, it was stopped by a single hand of Tiamat.
The false sense of security Marduk created for himself vanished like dust to wind. All that remained was Tiamat's evil smirk.
"I let you win~"
She then throws the axe back to the floor, with enough strength for Marduk to lose his grip. Her horns then started to let out energy as if they were literal rockets, and she shot off directly to Marduk's chin, delivering a punch on impact.
"Also, I'm not lesser. I'm just compacted now."
His blood was the first rain on this new world.
—
Marduk's barely recognizable body was dropped to the Temple's floor in the middle of a gathering of gods.
Enki didn't even look at his son, he sorely focused on Tiamat who dropped him. She had a neutral yet displeased expression.
"Your son will live, and as promised, you will make him the King of Gods." He was about to speak, but Tiamat was having none of that. "If I even hear your breathing, I won't be able to hold back from doing something worse than I did to Marduk."
Not a single God dared to make a sound, only Marduk who was in agony was allowed such privilege.
Tiamat did not take her eyes off Enki. "Listen up. Whatever I say in this temple, it does not leave. If I somehow learned that it did, not even destroying your own soul to nothingness will save you from me…"
The threat was engraved on all the gods.
"You will tell the tale of how Marduk defeated me. I died when his arrow went through my mouth and pierced my heart. I never beat him back after the fact, and he turned into the King of Gods. For however long? As long as he can manage on his own. That is what the future generations will know as the 'truth'."
Nobody spoke back, for they knew what would happen if they dared.
"... What they will not know except for the gods themselves, is that I survived and was sealed in the reverse side of the world, to the Imaginary numbers." She chuckles. "I'm sure you all are glad to hear that. I've tried for so long to stop generating my ocean, but I never managed to do so. And now that Marduk created this world, I'm a danger to the ecosystem, as I might eventually flood everything."
This was great news to the gods, Tiamat willingly leaving after what happened to Abzu was inconceivable, but they dared not to question this miracle.
And yet, they never felt relief. Especially Enki.
Tiamat sighs. "... I'll just take some of Abzu's things and leave. But before that…" She locks on Enki with dead eyes.
"... Abzu was planning on killing the younger gods."
Enki knew where this was going.
"But I managed to talk him out of it… I guess he was informing Mummu of his sudden change of heart, and unless his advisor decided to go at it alone… You all were safe. But you… you didn't care, did you?" Tiamat horns started to turn dark and the energy red, just as her eyes.
"You must have heard them discussing it, but chose to kill them all the same. All for… boasting that you did it."
"I-! *Ghrk-grk!*" Enki once again tried to explain himself, but his mouth was suddenly torn bloody apart as Tiamat sent enough force with the swing of her claws that destroyed it.
"You didn't listen, and honestly, I did you a favor. I would have gotten more pissed if you spat your excuses."
The mud started to boil and Tiamat's face was apocalyptic.
"You killed my Husband."
She starts to fly up, power gathering on her horns and readying her claws. Cracks of Chaos start to appear around her.
"But don't worry, I will not kill you. No..."
*C̸͕̝̝͈̳̭̮̩̹͒̉̈͝r̴̩̼͖̹̱̥̠̆̕͜à̶̧̛̗̟̹̦̈́̋͋̐͐c̷̝̠̟̩̹̟͗̔ͅk̶̙̻̝͙̩̫̽̓̓͐̀̈́͘!*
Tiamat's body was nothing more than a fissure of Chaos.
"I'll make you wish for Ỏ̵̼̀̐b̷̬͓̾͌̚ͅl̵̗̩̏͘i̸̡̧̼̎v̷̜͝ȉ̶̤͕o̷͓̅̃̿̓n̷̲͎̟̟͗͒̆́!"
The savagery upon Enki gave nightmares to those present. Even the gods far away will remember Tiamat's wrath in fear.
—
Tiamat was sealed in the white void that is the Imaginary Numbers. She even had the seal she was supposed to have, it was unnecessary, but she tried to see if it stopped the mud from being created.
… Why?
It did not.
… Why?
Eventually, if she spent eternity in there, she would also flood the void with her mud. That is, if she can last that long.
… Why?
Since she is a mixture of divinity with human thought patterns. And humans were not meant to last for eternity.
… Why?
And it is exactly because of her divinity, that she hasn't gone completely insane.
… Why?
But it is also thanks to it that she is more vulnerable.
… Why?
The question will remain unanswered.
… Why am I the only one who remained?
They are probably dead by now. I know it has been thousands of years by now, I can feel it, even if I don't want to know the exact number, I know I have been here that long.
… But then, I don't know what follows after them, has the modern world arrived? Or is it the turn for the Nordic? Or did those stupid space ships in Greek mythology already arrived? Those stupid things were too much back then.
How is my cult doing? Are you still kicking around? I really do hope you're doing better these days, if there is any remaining that is. If not, then I hope whatever passes as heaven for the root should be a nice place for ya.
…
This would happen from time to time. She would start to have a mental conversation to herself, she hated making a sound. Even the mud itself was silent.
…
… Why?
… Ah no, I know why. Isn't Goetia supposed to get my butt out of here some day for his stupid plan?
I mean, really. How do you fuck up so badly? All you had to do was shoot Ritsuka in the damn head or heart, and your plan would have gone without problems.
And how do you not recognize Solomon?
…Although to be fair, the long hair and skin color did a lot to change his appearance. But that was like, the only ass-pull I have come to accept in any media… well, the only one I remember.
But even then, you watched all of humanity and decided to just make them better by killing them?
Don't get me wrong, being witness to all and choosing to burn humanity is more than fair. But how exactly did you miss the repeated lesson of eternity being bad?
You had more than enough material dude.
And that's my fucking sibling as a Beast of Humanity everyone… Oh who am I kidding, all Beasts are losers… Except for U-Olga. She gets my vote.
…
…
What would Tiamat think? Would she care? Could she even begin to care?
Always so insufferable happy about taking care of her children… Then why am I Tiamat?
I never loved them as I should have… or as Tiamat would have. Like, I honestly can't remember the face of that pest.
Kingu is the one I remember apart from A̷͈͎̙͆̚b̶̲̞̈́̑̽-... Kingu I only remember the most because he looked a lot like Enkidu, except with shorter hair and other set of clothes.
Never really understood why that was so. But I never really cared that much. I was more preoccupied with the timeline not being burned because the world does not allow for stupid things to go stupidly different.
Because then you get the Chaldeans on your ass. Them or that Red thing that guards the Root if it feels like popping up instead of just burning everything.
…
… Why?
I just said why.
…
… Even with that stupid tablet of clay, I never could have changed things. I tried.
… Looking at him dying thousands of times in those visions wasn't pleasant. Never got any better after the millions.
…
… I'm not bad, right?
I did my responsibility as the starter of the first gods and then humans. That should count for something, no?
Although I still don't know how Marduk did that thing with my carcass.
Besides, in other mythologies, there are other ways the Earth came to be, so how does everything exactly work?
… But I guess it doesn't really matter.
…
… Will I ever see BB and the other Sakura faces?
I don't remember what was the name for the giant one that had some of Tiamat on her.
She was cute.
But not like him tho.

…
… What will happen if I sleep?
Will I never wake up? There's nothing in here and being a primordial god means that I don't really need it.
But then, doesn't that mean I will wake up until something happens?
Will I wake up to die to Gilgamesh's Ea?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Yes, it is better to stay up and don't sleep.
I have never done it since I turned into Tiamat anyways.
…
… Also, it's scary to die in your sleep.

Oh wait, I said 'Charr' by accident. I fucked up.
Never really knew why it was a chair, I only touched the normal Fate, Fgo part 1 to 1.5 and the movies. Never checked Tsuki-whatever-its-name-is.
Should I change the word? To Vanilla? Hmm, nope. Run? …Nah.

You know what?
I'm sorry.
Yep, I'm sorry I never tried harder for you, Abzu.
… What?
Were you expecting me to say I'm sorry for not loving you?
Pfft! Yeah right. It doesn't work like that, buddy.
Just because we were the only people in the Chaos does not mean that I would automatically fall in love with ya.
Besides, I always thought of you as an annoying best friend.
…
Ah, c'mon, Abzu. You could easily do better than me!
Like, there's a world of beauties out there now! I'm sure there's at least one for you ready to love you, unlike me.
Just make sure she's not crazy, don't stick dick in the crazy.
I'll even be your wingman, or wingwoman.
…
Well, personally I'm fond of white haired women.
No! Not like old wrinkled humans, ya dinguss! Change back to how you were!
…
Ugh. Let's hear what's your type then!
…
Okay, I'll admit I didn't think that one through. You just described me… or well, us.
What? No, I think I look just fine. And yeah, I'm beautiful. But it's different.
… I don't know how! It just is!
…
What do you think you would have done if you were a normal human?
No, I mean like, would you have gone for fashion as a job? Or construction?
You were always good with coming up and creating things.
Remember when you showed me those dresses and buildings with systems you used to make? That's something I would have never known how to do.
Nah, using my mud doesn't count.
…
What would I have done?
… I truly don't know.
… With how this world is, It's kinda… scary for me to think of.
…
… Thanks, despite everything, I know I can always count on you, Abzu.
…
…
…
I'm sorry.

—
Tiamat was hyperventilating, it has been many years since she stopped thinking 'I'm sorry'. But the weight of her guilt and loneliness did not stop growing.
"Ghk!"
She stopped, looked at the clean white sky, and for the first time in thousands of years, cried to someone for company.
"Ze-... Zelretch! Zelretch!! Zelretch!!!"
She called out to the Magician of the Second Magic in desperation. If there was anyone who could go and go as he pleases without causing major disruptions to the Timeline, it would be him.
"Zeeelreeeetch!!!"
…
..
.
..
…
"Alcatraz!!! Alcatraaaaaz!!! Aaaalcaaaatraaaaaaaaz!!!"
An unknown magician to her, but she knew he had similar capabilities to Zelretch.
"Alca- Tch! A-Aoko!!! Aokoooooo!!!"
Now she calls the Magician of the Fifth Magic.
Her desperation started to change for something else.
…
..
.
..
…
"SOLOMON!!! SOOOOOLOOMOOOON!!! SOOOLOOOOOOOOMOOOOOOONNN!!!"
Out was the desperation in her voice, and in was the rage. Not at the one being called, but at herself.
"GOETIA!!! GOOOEEEETIIIIAAAAAAAAA!!!"
She no longer cared if this advanced Goetia's plans and created problems for Chaldea. She wanted to talk to someone.
To not be alone.
…
..
.
..
…
*Pant-Pant-Pant*
Somehow, Tiamat started to pant with how long she yelled.
But her voice remained undamaged.
"..."
Her angry face started to crack. No matter how much she fought it off, salty water started to come out from her eyes.
"A-aa… Aaa-a…"
She knew it was futile, more so than the previous attempts.
There was nothing left when she searched for him. Not even with rituals did she hear his voice.
"A-abbzz-zz…"
But nevertheless, she couldn't help herself to tremble and call out to her lost friend in tears, despite feeling she does not have any right to do so.
"A-Abzu! Abzu!!! *Hick!* Abzuuuu!!!"
She couldn't deal with the pain.
"ABZU!!! AAABZUUU!!! AAAAAAAABZUUUUUU!!!"
The void started to tremble, the sound of fissures came from the sky. The Imaginary Numbers Space reacted to Tiamat's cry.
"AAAA̵̯͗Ą̵̤̂̚A̸̛̦̬A̷̤̿AAABZUUUUUU̵̘̅U̸̯̹͆͝Ụ̶̄!̸̞̕!̷̲͓̑!̸̝̣̍"
Any creature or anomaly that was 'close' to her in the Imaginary Numbers Space went in the opposite 'direction', observers and magus that delve on imaginary Numbers noticed something strange.
And there was a secret group of followers that had an idea of what was happening.
"AAAÄ̷̟Ā̸̗AAA̵͔͝À̸̧A̵̧̓B̴̻̎Z̸̙̈́Ù̵̠U̷̹͂Ŭ̶̧UUU̸͉̔Ṵ̸͠Ũ̸̠U̶̼̒Ú̵͚Ų̴͋Ü̴̼U̶̖̚Ü̸̖Ű̵̮U̸͙̿!!!"
No matter how hard she cried for him, or for anyone.
Nobody answered.
—
.
..
…
The scene was a cracked white sky, and a Tiamat with her head down, still crying, but otherwise a tired expression.
"..."
Her thoughts were in disarray. Nothing coherent could be extracted from them.
Suddenly, her eyebrows twitched. The blurry mental image of an Entity in white with red robes Tiamat has been ignoring for so long, almost forgotten even.
Someone who would comply with her wishes.
And Tiamat calls her name in a raspy whisper. "... Endi?"
*Ka-clink*
Out of nowhere, an emblem falls in front of Tiamat, somehow ignoring the mud.
Tiamat looks at the new object with dead eyes for minutes. She then breaks the seal on her without effort to pick the emblem.
Once in her right hand, it shines with a golden glow.
It was a four pointed star in the center of a crescent shape.
An emblem she would not forget.
Oh… That's right.
"...Heh." Her grip on the emblem increased to the point that her fingers started bleeding, but the object didn't budge at all. "Hehehahhh."
That's why no one came to me.
The tears didn't stop, but Tiamat's laughter soon increased, however her smile didn't reach her eyes.
I never wanted them to reach me.
"Ahhh Hahahhhh HAHAHIHAA!."
If Tiamat endured through this, then it stands I should too. No, I must.
Because that's what I deserve. This is my hell for not doing more, for not knowing how to appreciate Abzu back then.
"Haha- …"
I always hated this world, its rules, its bullshit. He was the only one who made it entertaining and bearable, I just didn't realize it sooner.
"Grrgh."
Tiamat grumbles out of the sheer amount of emotions at this moment, her almost torn hand got worse. But she took a deep breath, and for the first time, yelled with everything she had to the sky.
"RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAẦ̶͉A̷̡̰͘Â̵͎A̸̯͓̓̚À̴̤A̶͉͖̅͝Ǎ̵̡̝A̴̧̧͛̇A̶̮̗͊Ã̶͎̺͘A̶̰̘̓̔A̴̭̋Ȧ̸̤̇Ä̵̗́A̵̞͋Ȁ̷͚̑A̷͓͝A̵̡̦͝A̴͓̔̚Ȁ̸̟A̷̮̖̎Å̴͉̖A̷͖̯͊Á̸̱̖͆A̵̖̜̿A̶̟̓A̷̹̼͒̌A̷̫̰̾A̶̙̥̾̀A̷̘̠͆Ḁ̷̜̀̋A̶̳̎͂Ả̴͙ͅÅ̸̢̟Ă̸͓̕A̷̩͐͗A̸͈̘͠Ǎ̵͈̲A̷̤̖̕À̸̼̤̑Â̸̜̥̌Ả̴̱̝Ả̷̗́A̵͓̚͜͝Ả̵͉̃͜Å̸͔͋Ạ̵͎̓̂A̴̬̻͌A̷̝̫̒Ȃ̵͎̠-"
The Void was being distorted, almost being ripped apart, as if the threads holding it together were being destroyed.

The fissures in the sky started to open and fragments fell, what was inside was incomprehensible, and yet acted as if it was a liquid.
The sky itself was 'bleeding' from its 'wounds', the 'blood' was like Chaos itself.
Despite her cry being heard through different points in time thanks to the nature of the Imaginary Numbers Space, it affected the world and other dimensions through different means.
In some, they attribute it to disasters or eruptions, like the Krakatoa eruption in 1883. In other Timelines, Chaldea would get weird results in their search for singularities.
Certain individuals will think four times before venturing anywhere close to Tiamat and carry out their plans.

"Hm… huh?" Tiamat perked up and noticed that the sphere was done gathering her power, the object was finally done with. She guessed that a few weeks' time was expected with this one.
She didn't actually sleep. 'Rest Mode' was a sort of dazed state where she could vividly revisit her memories. She lost count of how many times she has done that here. But at least it was a way to keep her old life and Abzu fresh in her mind.
Welp, time to get this thing going.
She gets up and walks towards the house, she spared a glance at two tombs in the yard before going in. One had 'Abzu' on it while the other had her name, the dirt already dug and ready for one day to be filled.
Trying to not think too much about it, she locks the door and goes upstairs to her room. The house wasn't anything too fancy, but it did have a system where the mud Tiamat created was drained and reached the lake.
Tiamat created the house by using her mud and playing testing how far she could get things. For example, the inside of the walls was filled with either organs or tissue, but she never created new life.
However, it was really annoying how everything she tried to make always had monstrous features like scales, eyes or teeth on them. It took a long while to avoid such things.
Let's do it.
She put what came out from the sphere and plugged it to the screen, then pressed the button on the controller and turned it on. The smirk on her face was one of anticipation.
That's right, the sphere was a PS5. She found a way to create electronic devices a while ago. The only problem was that she didn't know the components or how exactly they worked. So she decided to let her mud do miracles and won the lottery.
The downside yet again is that creating such things requires a lot of power from her and time. Fortunately she had both in spare. Still, she did not doubt that any magus would pass out or straight up have a heart attack if they knew just how much power she wasted with these things.
But this 'PS5' is different and unique. She made sure it somehow connected to her mind and recreated video games she remembers from her old life. That's why this particular project took many times to add progress as she built the house and other devices.
After setting up a user profile, she gives a mental command to test things. In which she immediately received a surprise, she stared dumbfounded and blinked at the screen.
"... An update??? Wa!? An hour!? Ugh!!!"
That's right, there's a supposed 'update' to the system. Tiamat lets out a sigh and she supposed that the damn thing was fresh out of the factory 'new', so finishing the connection with her mind should count as an 'update'.
Letting out a frustrated sigh, she hits 'accept' and resigns herself to wait. While waiting, she glanced at the mirror in her room, and thinking about her reflection, she got a little idea.
Tiamat puts the controller away and thinks of a pose to do. She was wearing Abzu's white t-shirt, which gave her an idea.
So she put herself on her knees and did something for him.
"Reflection (Image)"
…Pfft! He would have loved this.
Getting back up, she decided to just lay on her bed and wait, not before shrinking her horns so it is more comfortable.
Hmmm… Maybe I should go with a ponytail? Otherwise, I've never really had something that would make me look different to Tiamat.
And I really like ponytails. But that will be something for later.
With just looking at the ceiling, her eyes started to feel heavier. She supposed revisiting those memories were kind of tiring, so she closed her eyes to get some rest.
She wouldn't really sleep anyways.
…
..
.
—
Tiamat slowly opens her eyes to a vast green field of grass. The white cracked sky was still there, just as the lake and house.
Just like always, she just stares at the horizon.
"Welp. This is new, isn't it?"
That casual and mischievous tone and voice would never leave her. And yet, hearing here almost tears her soul apart.
"... This is just… a dream. You're not the real one." Tiamat turns around with tired eyes, but not a frown.
There he was, still in her form yet with the slight differences.
This never happened before, this is truly new, as opposed to reliving her memories. Just something her mind came up with.
Abzu is smugly smiling at her. "Am I?" He then waves his hands as a ghost. "Wooo~ How are you soooo suuureeeee~?"
Tiamat almost chortles, but otherwise, she's not in the mood to entertain her own mind. "If I didn't find anything back then, not even with the Table of Destinies… Then I'm not sure there was something left of the real Abzu. And even if there was, they might not be more than fragments."
Abzu rolls her eyes. "C'mon Tiamat, spare us both your angst and let yourself feel hope. Truly, you even made a tomb for us! There's something like going too far in your own head."
Tiamat grunts, annoyed at the dismissal. "Laugh it up, it's not like I lost my best friend forever thanks to my stupidity and inability to do more… And hope?" The sheer bafflement in the last question was obvious.
"You do remember there is the throne of heroes, right?"
She shakes her head. "It wouldn't work. I don't know how to reach that place, and even then, I'm not sure that Abzu would be there. The throne isn't exactly a place that gathers all divine spirits."
Abzu ducks his lips in thought and nods. "Maybe, but why couldn't someone make use of that place? As opposed to actually being a heroic spirit?"
"..."
"Besides, there's also how divinity is stupidly resilient, how this world creates bullshit upon bullshit, and people don't die when they're killed!"
This time, Tiamat did chortle, but her mood was still the same. "... Then where is the real Abzu? If it was him, he would have arrived on day one since I got in the Imaginary Numbers Space."
"Hey, cheating death is kinda hard. And if Ereshkigal had my soul, then I would feel bad leaving the poor gal alone."
Tiamat gave a flat answer. "If I didn't know how much you loved me, and made sure to engrave into your soul to not cheat in a relationship by threat of a beating, then I would have worried about getting NTR'd."
Abzu laughed with his belly. "Haha!!! You know I would rather have a harem of you!"
He then flinched when Tiamat turned around while bearing her fangs. "You know I hate that thing."
"I- it was a joke! Just a joke!"
She then closes her mouth, calm enough to not give him a beating. But then hangs her head in a tired demeanor.
"... I know that a small part of me hopes that one day, you just… pop back up. Like nothing ever happened. And with how this world is, I don't believe it is 100% impossible. But…"
Abzu warmly smiles and gives her a side hug. "I get it."
Tiamat hesitates, but eventually, she returns the side hug. Just like that day.
Even if she knows this is all fake, she couldn't help but seek that warmth, it didn't matter there was something missing, just a fraction of it from nostalgia was enough.
Abzu tilts his head towards the building with a smile. "Hey, why don't you give me a tour? I could give you some tips! And maybe have fun~" He wiggles his eyebrows in a suggestive manner.
Tiamat shakes her head in fake exasperation. "In your dreams… but yeah. Let me show you what I did." And it is with a smile, the two of them start walking towards the house.
No longer in a side hug, but both of their tails still wrapped around the other's.
"I hope you remembered what I showed you back then, I'm also curious what furniture you got."
"It was annoying when I started, but I got the gist of it. Don't expect the greatest of things tho."
"So long as it has a bath to watch you take a shower and a bed to sleep in, it will be the best thing ever!"
"Yeah yeah. I also picked the outfits you made back then. I haven't used all of them but-"
—
Tiamat opens her eyes once again. As she gets up, she cleans her tears away.
Looking at the screen, the update has been downloaded and installed. She huffs and goes to pick the controller up. Not before seeing her reflection in the mirror.
She had a somewhat tired but genuine smile. "Haha." Now that her mood was in a better shape, after letting out a small laugh, she sat down in a chair and started to move around the interface.
Everything seemed in order. The controller worked, just as the mental commands, and the adjustments were far beyond what a real PS5 offered. She could even make the menu be like other older consoles, but being the default-settings person that she is, she did not want to bother right now.
What shall be the first thing I play?
Hmmmmmmm…
… I always wanted to try that one. Let's see if this thing works as intended.
With a mental command, a new icon appears in the menu. "Yes!" She was glad it worked, not to mention it did not need to be downloaded like the 'update'.
So she went to the icon and started up. It was a game not even out on consoles yet, but she never had a computer that could run it back then.
It puts your skills and style to the test, the challenge always scaling with your progress.
A bloody and entertaining game with awesome music and violence where you traverse the layers of hell as a hungry machine.
It was-
—
High up in the tormented and stormy sky, a crack of Chaos suddenly appeared. From it came only one 'meteor', its flames were a beautiful rainbow in this literal God forsaken Hell.
A message appears in front of the 'meteor':
Mankind is Dead.
Blood is Life.
Hell is Full.
The message disappears shortly after.
The fissure closed once the 'meteor' landed in an ocean of blood. The landing created a small red tsunami, fortunately, there was no one around to be swept by the blood, but death would have been a mercy in this place anyway.
Once the epicenter of the impact calmed down, a blocky red and yellow structure started to rise up from the ocean in front of it.
The lighting from the storm illuminated on the 'meteor', only for it to not be a piece of rock. No, it was a person on their knees.
She was a small, petite and beautiful woman. With almost white skin and sky blue hair in a singular long ponytail. Her horns were small, barely sprouting from her head, and her clothes blue.
Her expression was a neutral face, and the most striking feature were the eyes. They were a glowing pink and had crosses in the pupils.
It was Larva Tiamat in her second ascension, albeit with some small differences.
*Crackle!!!*
A strong lighting echoed through the area and when its light brightened the place, the doors in the structure slid open and a name appeared in front of Tiamat.
It was the title of a game she wanted to play for so long.
It was:
ULTRAKILL

Back in Tiamat's room, she was confused at the different message and intro cutscene. A confusion that got worse when she saw herself but in a smaller form inside the game.

End of Prologue: Dream for the Departed
Author Note:
Oh my fucking god, why can't I write just for the funny?
This was never supposed to turn into a (not) romance between TiamatSi! and Abzu! The objective was for a TiamatSi! to be like a Hikkimori playing games!
Endi: And it got a bit meta in the middle of it. Would you explain from the beginning?
Right.
So the original idea was to write something similar to what a lot of Chinese fics do, and that is: Write a fic where the mc plays games (could be virtual reality or not) and they somehow affect universes where the stories of the games do really happen. Only for the Mc not know they were dealing with real people.
If you don't read Chinese fics (or even real novels) at all, what I just described is used to not end. Trust me, when I say that shit is saturated, it is absurdly saturated.
Like the Isakei Japanese genre, and just like it, finding a gem in a pile of shit is not so pleasant.
For you see, when this trope of "Gamer actually dealing with another world in their games" is used in fanfiction, it usually is to set the MC with the girls of a franchise.
Like, playing Honkai Impact 3 and all the girls love the Captain, therefore, they love the Mc. Or in Fgo, or Arknights, Pokemon, HSR, on and on and on. Sometimes they turn into yanderes.
It's basically just for the harem.
And I hate it.
So I thought, let's make fun of that shit and do something at least readable. None of that harem garbage, none of that girls or Mc crossing realities and somehow handwaving what other plot points you could make from this just to write another fantasy romance in the never ending ocean of trash.
But mainly, let's take the concept, and make something for fun!
…
Endi: That didn't last for long, eh?
No, it did not.
I took Tiamat as the SI's target so that she could be just a Hikkimori in the Imaginary Numbers Space. But then I thought, what would the backstory be?
And things just spiraled out of control.
Abzu was a surprise addition to even me. The dynamic between the two just made itself.
I had to read a bit on the history of the two, but never going that deep.
So if you're a history nut, I'm sorry if I got details wrong like events or names. Like, seriously.
Enki, who kills Abzu, is supposed to change his name later on to Ea. Or at least that's what I understood.
Then there's how Abzu might be also called Apsu.
The first children were two or four. Lahmu and the other Lah-something were the first, I believe? Although Kingu and Mummu were also direct children to the primordial gods, Tiamat and Abzu, while being their respective advisors.
Also, why the fuck did Tiamat turn Kingu, her son, into her new consort???
Yeah, I totally skipped that thing in this prologue. Sorry Kingu, no husband bragging for ya here.
And that was the normal real lore, I'm not going to bother with Nasu's lore at all!
Not because of hate or anything, but it would make things a lot complicated for what I wanted to be just for fun writing.
Like, I had to stop and think just when exactly did the White Titan arrive and if somehow Tiamat fought it. But then decided to "Nah, fuck that shit".
Admittedly, I could have set things up between Altera and Tiamat for something in the future, but I didn't want to bother.
Endi: Let's talk about that moment where TiamatSi! calls for me and the emblem?
Oh, that.
Well readers. You see, Endi here is an Original Character that sort of has a small presence in some of my fics. She normally plays the role of second commentator in the Author Notes.
And all of my fics are related in a multiverse kind of way.
For example, the emblem is one I came up with and my avatar in my Pfp wears. Therefore, Tiamat being a SI knows that Endi is watching, just because she is that powerful.
Endi takes the role of a ROB and sister to the protagonist in my first fic. From there on, all other SIs could sort of count as sisters too.
Think of her like a Patron goddess.
And Endi both complies with her sisters' wishes and lets things go on their own. Although you'll notice in the future chapters that Tiamat might find dishes already done on the table without having to cook anything herself. That's Endi right there.
It is why she didn't appear in front of Tiamat, because the dragon goddess deep down did not want her there, in a sort of twisted way.
Now, it might ruin something or fly over the heads for the readers, maybe. But I went with it and I'm sticking to it.
Sort of Meta, but oh well.
Endi: Well, leaving aside the sort of Tiamat Selfcest between her and Abzu.
That one just happened on its own-
Endi: And how this fic will be a multi cross without being heavy on things.
Ah, yeah. Type moon stuff will not be a major focus. Expect for things to not go that deep.
Endi: We don't have anything more to cover. Unless you wanna talk about your other fics not being updated, like Breeze of Freedom, or a Special Gap Youkai, or-
I'm working on it!!! Jeez.
But anyways, that would be all. This chapter was 11,620 words long (with a few less if we don't count the "I'm sorry" on loop part (also yes, the words counted are all of this post, including the Author Note)). For a work sort of done in three-four days (kinda), that's the fastest I've been.
But I'll be seeing ya!
This is Jakku, off to lurk!
Bye!

Endi: With this done, let's hope the author can keep the momentum, unlike always.
But if you, for some insane reason, want to help the author's motivation, you can go to our Patreon to monthly throw some money at him.
You can also leave Tips on Ko-Fi.
The piece of art was made by the author himself, and he is open for commissions. Just make sure to send a DM or something if you're interested.
He mainly draws anime girls the best and most often, but hey, money is money.
But with that plug-in out of the way, that would be all.
Be safe and value your time with friends and family.
Ba Bye.
