Chapter 6 - CH 6

However, their journey did not go unnoticed. As they approached more populated areas, eyes began to fall upon them. Akari was a woman with striking red hair, of timeless beauty, and her son, Kaien, was even more remarkable.

The people they encountered—merchants, travelers, sometimes patrolling ninjas—could not ignore Kaien's eyes. His Eyes of Infinity, with their cosmic swirls of blue and violet, speckled with twinkling stars, were supernaturally beautiful, yet also disturbingly intense. They seemed to see through the soul, through reality itself. Even from a distance, they drew the gaze, captivated attention, and inspired a form of respect mixed with awe.

"Look at his eyes…" a peasant whispered to his neighbor along a dusty road. "I've never seen anything like it. It looks like… it looks like the night sky."

A group of Genin on a reconnaissance mission crossed paths with them. Their eyes widened upon seeing Kaien. One of them, a young man with brown hair, felt an overwhelming wave of chakra emanating from the boy, a power so vast that it took his breath away. "Sensei… did you feel that?" he asked, his voice trembling, to his Jōnin.

The Jōnin, a seasoned veteran, had indeed felt the aura. He frowned, his eyes following Kaien's silhouette. "Yes. An unheard-of… power. And his eyes… It's not a dōjutsu I know." He had never felt such a concentration of chakra, so pure and so immense, in a human being. It was like a force of nature, yet contained within a child's body.

Akari, aware of the gazes and whispers, squeezed Kaien's hand a little tighter. She knew her son was a magnet for trouble. His power was undeniable, and his innocence made him vulnerable to malicious intentions. The fairy, Fae, nestled closer to her ear, as if to reassure her. Ryuu, the small dragon, growled softly, his small golden eyes fixed on the observers with surprising intelligence.

"Mom, they're looking at us," Kaien said, without any malice, just an observation. "Do they like Fae and Ryuu?"

"Perhaps, my dear," Akari replied, forcing a smile. "They aren't used to seeing such beautiful creatures."

She had to find a way to conceal Kaien's true nature, at least until they reached Konoha and she could speak to someone she trusted. The power of his eyes was impossible to hide, but perhaps she could minimize its impact, make it seem like a rare dōjutsu rather than the manifestation of cosmic power.

The journey continued, marked by these fleeting encounters. Each time, Akari felt the weight of the situation. Her son, the miracle she had found again, was also a living enigma, a secret she had to protect at all costs. She wondered how Kushina, her niece, would react to seeing her, Akari, back from the dead, and discovering this child with divine powers.

As they approached the Land of Fire's territories, Akari began to devise a plan. She would have to be careful, very careful. The world had changed, and Kaien's power was a double-edged sword. But with Fae and Ryuu by their sides, and the unbreakable bond uniting her with her son, she felt ready to face anything.

The sun set, and Kaien's flaming red hair, streaked with silver highlights, glowed under the last rays, while Fae and Ryuu danced around him, sparks of light in the growing darkness. The path to Konoha was still long, but they were no longer alone.

I think the chapter is solid as is! The only thing you could consider adding, though it's not strictly necessary, is a very brief internal thought from Akari about how she plans to minimize the impact of his eyes – perhaps a vague idea about a genjutsu or some kind of disguise, even if she hasn't perfected it yet. This would just add another layer to her immediate concern.
