Chapter 197 - Chapter 197: Show of Force!

"Oh, right!"

Auron suddenly remembered—he hadn't told them about this yet. He quickly opened Feixin and sent his location in the group chat.

Auron: [location]

Auron: I've rented a place. Want to come check it out?

Simon: Sure, heading over now.

Jace: +1

Tim: +1

Regis: +1

Serena: +1

Auron: Okay.

After a brief reply in the group, Auron continued placing orders.

Bed, mattress, bedding set, desk, bookshelf—a whole heap of things to buy.

"Auron?"

"Hey, coming down!"

Hearing someone call him from downstairs, Auron knew his friends had arrived and quickly headed down.

"How come you're the only one here?"

Seeing only Serena downstairs, Auron asked curiously.

"I wasn't with them. By the way, why is it so empty here? There's nothing at all?"

After Auron came down, Serena looked around and asked.

The house was so empty—only walls and lights remained.

"That's right, which is why I've been ordering stuff online. I called you all over to see what else needs to be arranged here. After all, I'll be living here for four years."

"Sure! Let me see what you've bought."

Hearing this, Serena immediately became interested. She moved next to Auron and scrolled through his shopping cart.

"Are we interrupting something? Should we come back later?"

As the two were discussing, Jace poked his head through the doorway and said loudly with a mischievous grin.

Auron's face darkened. "If you're here, get in here. What's with the weird comments?"

"Hey, coming, coming!"

Jace entered with a grin, followed by Tim and a bunch of others.

"Wow, it really is this empty?"

"Yeah, otherwise why would I call you over? Quick, help me set things up. Lunch is on me."

"Haha, perfect! That's all we needed to hear."

Jace laughed heartily, then immediately started directing operations.

"Here, put a sofa. Across from the sofa, obviously a projector—big and awesome. Put a coffee table here..."

"What coffee table? Just lay down a big rug and sit on it—way better. A coffee table just takes up space."

Tim pushed Jace aside and said.

Peter also joined in. "I think..."

Just like that, in moments everyone had started arguing. This one thought this should go here, that one thought that should go there—several people kept debating endlessly.

But this actually made things go faster. Basically, they'd argue about an issue, then Auron would pick whichever he liked and place the order.

Then they'd move to another spot and continue arguing, Auron would pick one again, and place the order.

Just like that, they quickly ordered everything needed to furnish the entire apartment. All that was left was waiting for delivery.

"It's getting late. Let's go eat first. When the furniture arrives, we'll continue."

"Sounds good~"

...

After everyone happily finished their meal and returned, the furniture had already been delivered by Machoke Company.

Everyone began a new round of debates that lasted all afternoon...

"By the way, are you all choosing to stay in the dorms?"

At dinner, Auron asked everyone.

"Yeah, at Skyspire you can choose your roommate. Jace and I are rooming together. We'll stay in the dorm for a while and see how it goes. If his feet really smell too bad for me to stand, I'll move out."

Tim looked at Jace and said with a grin.

Jace also looked at Tim with disdain. "Tch, maybe I'll be the one who can't stand it and runs out first."

This got everyone laughing. At Skyspire, you could choose your roommate. Only if you didn't actively choose would the school assign one.

"I... me too."

After the laughter died down, Simon also spoke up.

"He chose to room with me, though I know he'd rather room with someone else, right?"

Peter said while winking at Simon.

Simon stole a glance at Lena, then quietly lowered his head.

This delighted Auron—a social butterfly and someone with social anxiety rooming together. Let's see who influences whom.

"What about you two girls..."

"We're obviously rooming together~"

Before Auron could finish, Lena wrapped an arm around Serena's shoulder and said.

Auron smiled, then raised his glass. "Alright then! Tomorrow school officially starts. Our university years are finally beginning. Cheers!"

"Cheers!"

...

Early the next morning, Auron woke up from the luxurious Snorlax-belly bed as usual. Today was the official start of school—he couldn't be late on the first day.

Auron tidied himself up a bit and looked in the mirror. "Mm, still as handsome as ever. Let's go!"

After recalling his Pokémon into their Poké Balls, Auron set off with Dratini wrapped around his waist.

Dratini had practically become Auron's belt by now. Wherever he went, she had to follow, and usually she'd wrap around his waist, then wind upward to rest her head beside his.

The pink Dratini really attracted attention. He hadn't even reached the classroom yet, and posts about him were already flooding the school forum.

Most people were speculating about the background of this big shot with a shiny Dratini wrapped around him—to be so conspicuous!

If only Auron browsed the forum, he'd definitely cry out in protest. How was this him being conspicuous? It was Dratini refusing to enter her Poké Ball!

Even the super rare and expensive Luxury Ball he had—she wouldn't go in it. What could he do?

When Auron finally reached the classroom, just as he thought he'd be free from strange looks, the teacher at the podium teased, "Oh, our celebrity has arrived! Quick, find a seat and sit down."

Looking at the young teacher on the podium, Auron's face flushed with embarrassment. Without saying anything, he quickly found an empty seat and sat down.

After sitting, Auron waited a while and discovered that surprisingly, no one came to talk to him. He felt somewhat puzzled.

"Hm? Don't web novels say the protagonist gets approached by someone during their first university class? Why hasn't anyone talked to me?"

After waiting a bit more with still no one approaching, Auron secretly looked around. He found most people were doing their own thing, with only a few familiar people sitting together and chatting quietly.

"This class has quite a lot of girls."

The whole class had about thirty-some people. A rough count showed that including Auron, there were fewer than ten guys—totally dominated by girls.

"Alright, everyone's here. Stop talking now and just listen to me."

Just as Auron was observing the gender ratio, the female teacher on the platform clapped her hands. After attracting everyone's attention, she said gently, "From now on, I'll be your advisor for the next four years. Of course, I'm not much older than you all—I just graduated not long ago myself. So this is also my first time leading students. I hope everyone will behave and not cause me trouble!"

The teacher's voice gradually grew louder. As her words fell, a Krookodile and a Pangoro appeared at her sides, grinning menacingly at everyone.
