Chapter 32 - Episode 32: The Judas Play

His name was Vusi Maduna, known in the underworld as The Left Hand. While Mokoena handled politics and press, Vusi moved the shadows — payoffs, threats, clean-ups, disappearances.

He was smart. Dangerous. And deeply loyal.

But loyalty could crack — for the right price.

Lynn sat across from Vusi in a sleek downtown hotel suite. No security. No weapons. Just champagne on the table… and secrets in the air.

> "I was surprised you agreed to meet," she said, sipping casually.

> "I wanted to see how stupid you are," Vusi replied. "Coming here alone."

Lynn smiled. "You think I'm alone?"

The windows shimmered faintly — a signal jammer was live. Outside, Michael's team sat in unmarked cars. Inside, Lwandile monitored every signal, every heartbeat.

But Lynn knew Vusi wouldn't act rashly. He was too careful.

> "Let me guess," she continued. "Mokoena promised you power once he wins the election. A seat at the table?"

Vusi raised a brow. "And what are you offering? A dream?"

Lynn leaned in. Her voice was low, sharp.

> "I'm offering survival."

She slid a folder across the table — detailed evidence of Mokoena's shady dealings, most of them executed by Vusi himself.

> "If he goes down, he takes you with him."

> "He won't go down."

> "He's already bleeding," she said. "The money. The media. His political protection. Gone. You think he won't sell you out next?"

Vusi remained silent.

Then she dropped the final bomb.

> "What if I told you I have a full audio recording of him approving the Kayden operation? That's jail time for you. Or… you flip now, help me bring him down… and I make you disappear clean."

> "New ID. New accounts. New life."

A long silence. Then, Vusi chuckled — low and bitter.

> "You're colder than I thought."

> "I had to be," Lynn replied. "He made me this way."

Vusi took the champagne glass and raised it slightly.

> "One condition," he said. "When this is done… he dies."

Lynn's eyes didn't flinch.

> "Deal."

They clinked glasses.

The Judas had just changed sides.
