A divine council convenes in the heavens. The gods, weary of watching mortals live monotonous lives in common worlds, decide to reshape existence itself.
God Jason stands and declares, "We will fuse realms. Let all beings awaken in Questoria — the realm of endless trials."
When asked how mortals will adapt, Jason simply replies, "We announce it tonight. By morning, they will belong to Questoria."
At dawn, the world shatters and reforms. Mountains shift, skies swirl with cosmic auroras, and the laws of reality twist. All races awaken in new lands filled with sprawling ruins, enchanted arenas, and mysterious portals.
Angels descend from the clouds. One—Stovic—addresses the people:
"The Creator was bored. Life was too simple, too predictable. Now, all beings, even angels like me, must earn divinity.
Complete Hundred million quests. Gain one million skills. Ascend and become god."
Children of age 12 must now choose: live in safety or step into the Trial Path. Each receives their first skill during the ceremonial Baptism of Questoria — a rite held in honor of this celestial change.
This origin is retold by Jurado, a 500-quest adventurer, to his son Edward—a bright-eyed 10-year-old—while his wife Merada, herself an 800-quest champion, listens nearby.
Suddenly, their cottage is pierced by skill-fire. A masked figure cloaked in shadows casts Poison Rain, then activates Arrow Barrage — a lethal combination. Jurado and Merada fall.
The villain whispers, "You abandoned your team... for love. Punishment is earned." Turning to Edward, he adds,
"If you want answers, seek me at Temple Quest #7. Revenge awaits."
As the boy collapses in shock, a crimson-robed figure bursts through the door. It's Lizo, the Grand Chief of their region. With his legendary Blade Burst skill, he drives back the attacker and escapes with Edward into the night.
