Chapter 10 - 10: Heavenly Train Operation Time!

"Mnn... five minutes more, I want to sleep more." Aria murmured in her sleep while sitting on the chair, leaning against the wall, and ignoring the giggles that came close to her ears.

"Sister..."

Feeling another poke on her gloved hand, she couldn't help but furrow her eyebrows.

Aria knew she didn't have younger siblings, only her one and only younger sister who was already grown up.

So the young's voice of a child in her room was impossible.

Were her cousin's kids visiting again? Or was she just dreaming of having babies?

No, she didn't want that kind of dream.

Erase, erase it!

It was better to have more money.

Yes, money. Aria imagined a blue bill flying toward her, but it ran away, and she began chasing it.

Hey, my money… don't fly away! Aria cried out in her dream as she fell to the ground.

"Sister, sister, wake up! Why isn't Sister waking up, but her lips are moving?"

"Carlos, don't bother Sister Aria." Lucas said, pulling his nosy younger brother away from disturbing their gentle sister any further.

Little Carlos wanted to protest, to wake their gentle sister so they could go to the food hall again and eat delicious food.

The two brothers believed they could only visit that magical place if Aria was with them.

"What kind of place is that? Is there really food there?" Samantha asked, knowing what's the younger brother has planned when it mentioned it earlier that he was hungry.

Lucas nodded without a word to the other adult sister, whom they had just met when they woke up.

At first, they were like vigilant tiger cubs, but Samantha was good with kids, so she was able to tame them, making Lucas lower his guard and feel comfortable with her.

The three of them woke up when the station announced that the Heavenly Train was now open for operations, and the lights came on everywhere again.

Lucas, used to being on guard all the time, was a light sleeper, and his younger brother also woke up because of the noise.

On the other hand, Samantha didn't know why, but she still felt full of energy after only a few hours of sleep, and she didn't want to go back to sleep anymore.

As the fully grown functioning adult among the three who was awake at that moment, Samantha had already introduced herself as Aria's personal friend when she noticed their cautious little eyes. This easily won the trust of Lucas and Little Carlos.

A gentle sister's friend must be gentle and kind as well, and the two brothers were simple-minded enough to believe that.

"You guys are awake… what… what is happening? Is it already morning?" Aria asked, yawning and covering her mouth in the proper manner she was used to, still feeling sleepy.

One of her eyes was closed, half-opening as she saw the three people, reminding her that she wasn't in her original world.

"Sister, you're awake! Let's go eat delicious food." Little Carlos walked up to her, placing his small hands on her legs.

Aria, fully awake but very aware of her morning breath, didn't feel comfortable speaking more before brushing her teeth, so she ignored the child's statement.

Instead, she glanced at the clock on the wall.

5:00 AM… so early to eat, and far too early for the two brothers to wake up.

Aria stood up, gently placing Little Carlos's hands into Samantha's, and went inside the powder room in the staff area. She closed the door without saying anything, and her actions made the three people behind her exchange curious glances.

"…"

Aria didn't care much. The group consisted of two children and one of her station staff, she didn't need to be pretentious about her image for them.

Also, it was because Aria was the type of person who wasn't very comfortable speaking too much before brushing her teeth in the morning.

While taking care of herself in front of the mirror, Aria finally remembered that the Heavenly Train should be open for its operations by now.

She assumed that was the reason why the three people outside were awake, just as the announcement rang once again.

"Dear Passengers, the Heavenly Train Station is now open."

Aria hadn't expected the station to handle the announcement automatically.

Additionally, she had miscalculated by setting it for 5:00 AM., she hadn't meant for everything in the station to be ready on its own at this hour.

This meant she would have to wake up at 4:00 AM to be properly prepared.

Sigh… how will her quality of sleep be now?

Samantha's voice greeted her as soon as she came out. "Good morning, Aria. There are actually people outside."

Samantha's eyes were conflicted. She didn't know what to do when she saw the three silhouettes, and realized they were all men, armed with modern weapons.

Her careful heart hadn't allowed her or the two children to confront the strangers.

Samantha decided to wait for her master to wake and hear the news. As long as she and the two children stayed inside the staff area, the strangers wouldn't notice them

Apparently, they hadn't noticed Samantha either.

"People?" Aria knitted her eyebrows.

Samantha nodded seriously.

"Go back to sleep, Lucas and Carlos. It's too early for you to be up. We'll have breakfast later, after you've rested again."

Lucas nodded, and Carlos hesitated but decided to follow the gentle sister. The two brothers believed Aria was their guardian from now on, and ever since they had shared a meal with her, they had already accepted her as their big sister.

Samantha tucked the brothers under a shared blanket beside the chairs and signaled that she would follow shortly.

Aria gave a look of understanding. She had already brushed her teeth and applied a little morning makeup, just as she had the day before when she appeared in front of the brothers.

Before opening the door, Fluff Ball informed her that these three people were passengers whose hearts had not been rejected by the Golden Barrier.

They had seen the Heavenly Train Station building last night.

Hearing this, Aria felt a surge of excitement.

Isn't this good news?

She could easily complete her next task and level up!
