Chapter 103 - Chapter 103: The World of Billions of Living Souls!

On Itadori's face, another pair of eyes suddenly opened and darted around, but strangely, he didn't lose control of his body.

"You little brat, you're really starting to annoy me," Sukuna's voice growled from within Itadori.

Across from him, Nozomi narrowed his eyes and threw the Prison Gate forward. With a deafening crash, it smashed a massive hole into the ground.

Nozomi burst into wild laughter. He truly wanted to see what would happen on the Tokyo battlefield once Gojo Satoru was freed. Who would emerge as the final king of this era?

Unfortunately, he likely wouldn't live to see it.

Behind him, James stood tall on a raised platform, his gaze cold and deadly.

Nozomi knew very well—his teleportation technique might have been useful the first time, but against a serious James, moving at that speed would only serve to freeze him in place. It would be suicide.

"Even though my fate is sealed," Nozomi said with a crooked smile, "I still want to put up a fight. This era is just too exciting to give up on."

His expression held a mixture of regret, sorrow, and resignation. With steady hands, he began forming seals—not for teleportation, but for Domain Expansion.

"In my opinion, Geto Suguru's body was ideal. Unfortunately, he grew far too quickly... and he's your friend, as well as Gojo's. If I killed him, you'd chase me to the ends of the earth. My plans would fall apart."

"The previous body's technique was also impressive. I wanted to preserve it... but you destroyed it."

"Let's consider this the continuation of our last battle. Just this once, let me keep my body intact, alright?"

Cursed energy surged around him, his domain expanding. A faint shimmering film formed, enveloping the battlefield.

And then, in an instant, it shattered.

Before anyone could even register what had happened, Nozomi's head was already bleeding in the outstretched palm of James' white-gloved hand.

"Ahem…"

Choking on his own blood, Nozomi desperately abandoned the body. A brain-like mass burst from his shattered skull, attempting to flee from the cockpit—even though the odds were slim.

As expected, the fleeing brain barely moved before being caught, frozen within the invisible range of James' five fingers.

"Of course not," James said coldly in response to Nozomi's earlier plea.

With a slight squeeze, black lightning crackled between James' fingers.

"Wait! The ancient Jujutsu master who sealed me—he's taken physical form…"

BOOM!

The brain exploded before it could finish speaking. Nozomi's final words were cut off, though he'd already said more than enough.

"So noisy," James muttered.

He turned his gaze to Mahito and Hanami, who were now frozen like statues, both internally screaming: "You can't see me! You can't see me! You can't see me!"

James smirked. "Do you really think my Transparent World is blind? How could I not see two massive cursed spirits hiding in plain sight?"

"You two got lucky last time and managed to escape. But instead of returning to the spirit world and reforming yourselves, you came back here to stir up trouble."

He tapped his toes against the ground—and vanished.

Shunpo!

Hanami's eyes widened in horror. There was no time to escape. There was no way to run. All he could do was prepare to fight!

Domain Expansion—

But before he could even finish forming the hand signs, James had already appeared behind them.

In both hands, James now held two severed heads—Mahito's and Hanami's.

Did they really think they could be faster than Nozomi?

With one sharp motion, James crushed both skulls in each palm.

Mahito died with a look of disbelief. Hanami's expression carried regret.

Just like that, two of the Four Calamities were eliminated!

Far away on the other side of Tokyo, Louhu and Togen were shaken. A deep, inexplicable sorrow filled their hearts.

"Mahito... Hanami…" Togen howled to the sky. To him, the other spirits were family. But now?

A massive fist came crashing down on his octopus-like head. Flesh and tentacles exploded as his body was hurled backward, leveling several buildings.

"Togen!" Louhu screamed in shock. But before he could react, Fushiguro Shigeru's blade was already at his throat. Louhu dodged just in time—he couldn't afford to take that hit head-on.

Distracted in a fight against Fushiguro Shigeru? That was suicide.

From a distance, Gojo Satoru gave Shigeru a proud thumbs-up.

Nearby, Yuki Tsukumo heard the commotion and turned. A huge cursed spirit flew backward through the air and crashed unconscious at her feet. Upon closer inspection, it was a special-grade.

After punching the beast out cold, Yuki calmly strolled toward Togen's twitching body.

The Fury of the Stars coursed through her feet, increasing her weight and mass with explosive force.

BOOM!

She stomped down.

The earth within a hundred-meter radius cracked and collapsed. Debris and shattered stone flew everywhere as Togen was pulverized.

One more calamity eliminated.

"Lucky," Yuki muttered casually.

Without sparing a second glance at the mangled remains of Togen, Yuki looked toward Fushiguro Shigeru and began walking in that direction.

Only two special-grade cursed spirits remained—the ones that had been pestering her earlier. And frankly, they were no threat.

No matter how many times they attacked, she effortlessly repelled them.

As she strolled down the shattered street, Yuki soon arrived at the scene of Louhu's battle with Shigeru. Flames exploded, fierce winds swept through the ruins, and the entire street was chaos.

"Oh~ Shigeru. Yaga called earlier. Said Gojo's been sealed and needs your Tensakihoko technique. You go. I'll take care of this one."

Yuki waved him off. Shigeru didn't hesitate. He wanted to reach Shibuya—his brother Fushiguro Megumi was still there!

Sensing the lingering traces of Togen's aura clinging to Yuki, Louhu's rage reached its peak. His movements exploded with volcanic intensity, a red light flashing above his head.

"You're not going anywhere!"

Domain Expansion—Cover the Coffin in Iron Wall Mountain!

So he was getting serious?

Yuki's expression hardened. She clasped her hands together and activated her own domain.

Domain Expansion—Starry Sky Garuda Wheel of Life!

Twin halos spun behind her as the domain unfolded, revealing a vast star-filled universe.

The light barriers of both domains collided. Within Yuki's domain, a small side door opened—and Shigeru slipped out safely.

Louhu's eyes widened in desperation.

But it was useless. In a clash of domains, the stronger domain always prevailed. And Louhu simply wasn't strong enough to suppress Yuki.

Watching Shigeru escape, Louhu closed his eyes in silent anguish. In the end, the Four Calamities had accomplished nothing. They had raged, threatened, and schemed—but what had it amounted to?

Why do weapons that can forcibly dispel curses even exist?

At the Shibuya subway station, three witnesses stood frozen in terror, eyes locked on James. Was this monster really from their era?

Even Sukuna was strangely silent.

"Itadori," James said calmly, "do you trust me?"

Itadori looked him straight in the eye and nodded without hesitation.

"Then eat these."

James pulled out several fingers—Sukuna's last ones, the final remnants of the Cursed King's scattered soul.

What was he doing? Feeding the boy and then killing him? How cruel!

Inside Itadori's mind, Sukuna panicked.

"He wants to kill you, kid! Don't do it!"

But Itadori didn't listen.

He swallowed all the fingers in one go.

Sukuna could feel his power return to its absolute peak.

But he wasn't happy at all.

Because he now had no scattered souls left.

This was the end. He was truly going to die.

James smiled and gently patted Itadori on the head. Then he leapt high into the air, rising above the smoke and chaos of Tokyo.

Below him, the city roared with destruction—explosions, screams, and curses everywhere.

James slowly formed seals with his hands.

"Domain Expansion—The Spiritual and Billion Soul Avenue Realm!"
