Chapter 104 - Chapter 104: The Decisive Battle! The Decisive Battle!

In the vast sky above Tokyo, a magnificent stone gate slowly emerged from the clouds. Towering across the skyline, the gate stretched from the eastern horizon to the western edge of the world, casting an awe-inspiring shadow over the land below.

The moment it appeared, it was as though a divine force had descended. The sky brightened. A pristine breeze swept across the world, scattering every last dark cloud.

The air felt sacred—calm, yet overwhelming. It resonated with a soft, ancient call, a deep rumble echoing from the heavens. The stone gate creaked open, just slightly, revealing a sliver of a dark, mysterious tunnel beyond. The tunnel looked like it had no end.

Where did that door lead?

"No matter how many times I witness this, it still sends chills down my spine, Qingyi," said Geto Suguru, standing atop a tower and gazing upward in amazement.

When a human stands before something so vast—so utterly beyond comprehension—there's no choice but to feel small. And yet, it also reminds one just how great human beings can be.

Every Jujutsu master in Tokyo had fallen into silence. They stared, wide-eyed, at the majestic gate in the sky. Even the Cursed Spirits looked up, dumbfounded. Among the older generation of Jujutsu masters, some began to brag to the newcomers.

"I've seen this before. Once in my life."

"I've seen it twice!"

"I've never seen anything like it at all!"

"That—that's the Domain Expansion of the God of Jujutsu Masters!" someone shouted.

Itadori and Inumaki Toge looked at each other. Like many others, this was their first time witnessing such a phenomenon. Fushiguro Megumi was so distracted he nearly forgot to communicate with Mokyora—and nearly bit his tongue as a result.

Kugisaki could hardly believe what she was seeing. "Is this what a big city is like?" she muttered. "It's so different from the countryside…"

"This era… what kind of monsters are we even producing?" exclaimed Zhang Xiang. "What sort of countryside city gives birth to people like this?! I haven't seen this in hundreds of years!"

Inumaki Toge wiped away tears. He thought about Gojumaki Sashi—his father. Who, or what, had his father been fighting against in the past? Even the value of the Tensakihoko technique was rising by the second.

In the shadows, dozens of figures also looked to the sky. White clouds floated past them, yet their teeth chattered with fear. Was this truly the opponent they were about to face?

"That... is that Sukuna?" asked Lu Ziyun, shielding his eyes with his hand as he looked up.

Others stared at him like he'd lost his mind. Sukuna? If Sukuna had that kind of power, I'd eat my own fingers!

Far above them, standing beneath his own colossal stone gate, James changed the seals in his hands. Invisible spiritual waves radiated from the gate and began to slowly cover all of Tokyo.

Though it appeared to be moving slowly, it was only relative to the gate's massive size. Most people didn't even register what was happening until the wave passed over them.

Itadori, admiring the sky, was suddenly overtaken by the wave. He immediately felt his body grow lighter. When he turned to look, he was stunned—a four-armed, four-eyed being was staring directly at him.

Inumaki and Zhang Xiang froze in horror.

It was Sukuna.

James' Domain Expansion, Rule One: Distinction is based on the soul, not the body.

Sukuna cracked his knuckles and grinned menacingly. All four eyes glinted with malice as he prepared to attack.

But high in the sky, James simply smiled.

"Everyone... welcome to my world."

A blue light began to envelop all Jujutsu masters and Cursed Spirits alike. One by one, they were lifted into the sky.

Sukuna tried to resist—but it was no use. The blue film wrapped around him and carried him upward.

One by one, the fighters were transported:

Itadori…

Choso…

Inumaki Toge…

Geto Suguru from atop his tower…

Yuki Tsukumo, still carrying Louhu's severed head…

Fushiguro Shigeru, who had just unsealed Gojo Satoru…

Gojo Satoru himself, newly freed from imprisonment…

Suta Daisuke, still battling several special-grade Cursed Spirits…

Okkotsu Yūta, locked in deadly combat…

Even young students like Fushiguro Megumi and Kugisaki…

No one could escape. Not even Lu Ziyun, the ancient first-class Jujutsu master, nor Rimei, who had been quietly following Itadori all along.

Had it been that earlier fluctuation? From white light to blue—the sky over Tokyo had been endlessly active today.

At last, the ordinary citizens—those still alive—had a chance to breathe.

But their relief was brief. Tokyo had become a ruined husk.

Countless high-rise buildings lay in rubble. Amid the collapsed concrete and twisted rebar, cries for help echoed through the empty city.

The Tokyo government, long hidden away, finally dared to send relief personnel to restore order. But the political consequences were inevitable. The prime minister would surely be removed—how could public anger be quelled otherwise?

Some officials even whispered: "Should we blame the Jujutsu masters?"

Are you insane?

This is a battle of gods.

---

Far away, in a strange, magnificent world of towering mountains, deep waters, and lush forests, peace had reigned for countless years.

That is—until now.

A massive stone door suddenly appeared in the sky and shattered the clouds.

Blue lights rained down, falling like meteors from the heavens. They shattered the land's tranquility.

Millions of Cursed Spirits descended, smashing ancient trees and tearing into the forests. Following close behind, tens of thousands of Jujutsu masters also landed.

Within minutes, under the leadership of Geto Suguru and others who quickly adapted to the situation, they formed coordinated battle units.

High above them all, James looked down and smiled.

"Alright... let's begin with an appetizer."

He stared at the tightly clustered Cursed Spirits below. Slowly, he raised his sword.

Half of his body turned pitch black from the cursed energy, but he recovered instantly. His blade burned with scorching heat.

He swung.

Hadō Ninety-Six—Cremation with One Knife!

The blade's light slashed downward in a blinding arc, carving across thousands of meters. It roared through the earth, then climbed into the sky—flames spewing from the ruptured cracks.

The heat wave surged like a tidal wave.

Any cursed spirit even remotely close was instantly vaporized. Those hit directly? Sliced clean in half before they could even blink.

It didn't matter what grade you were—everything in the blade's path died.

The ancient Jujutsu masters swallowed hard.

"This guy… this guy is trying to change the genre of the story!" someone muttered.

Sweat trickled down Lu Ziyun's brow. He licked his lips. He didn't feel fear—instead, he was filled with excitement.

To fight someone like that… even if it meant dying… it would be worth it!

The others were less enthusiastic.

"No, no, no," they muttered. "He's the only lunatic who thinks this is exciting."

An old man with a gaunt figure suddenly burst out laughing, his face unreadable—was he amused or terrified?

He was Duruf Lakdawala, who had once signed a pact with the Noose to fight against the modern Jujutsu masters.

But now?

Neither side was safe.

Beside him stood Hei Musi, Shi Liulong, and Wu Lu Hengzi. Some of them admired strength, sure—but none wanted to die.

"You want to fight that guy? Be my guest," one of them muttered.

Despite their reluctance, the ancient Jujutsu masters charged forward. But their attacks were half-hearted.

Not the Cursed Spirits, though. Mindless and bloodthirsty, they rushed into battle like moths to flame.

Idiots.

James' attack had already wiped out tens of thousands of them.

Grouped together, they were easy targets. But as the battle spread out and chaos erupted, targeting individuals became harder.

His Transparent World technique scanned the battlefield—and locked onto a distinctive figure.

Ryōmen Sukuna.

Sukuna stared back with all four eyes. Their gazes clashed in the air like blades.

Oh? Brave, are we?

But someone else had already chosen Sukuna as their prey.

From the Jujutsu masters' camp, an overwhelming presence suddenly surged upward. Blue light flashed in the sky—

Six Eyes.

A blinding beam of energy burst forth from Gojo Satoru, slamming into the battlefield like a meteor.

Hundreds of Cursed Spirits were annihilated along the way as the blast charged toward Sukuna.

Sukuna grinned wickedly. He raised a hand—and slashed forward.

BOOOOOM!

The air cracked with the sound of a massive collision. The shockwave tore through the forest, uprooting trees and scattering rubble.

The strongest in history versus the strongest of today.

The second round was about to begin.
