Chapter 146 - 《Harry Potter- Ravenclaw》Chapter 14: Preparations Before Departure

Wyzett switched hands, snapping his fingers again. Another leaf floated up, joining the first. The two leaves hovered side by side, fluttering up and down in perfect synchrony under his silent command.

"I didn't say a word! This isn't just silent casting—it's wandless casting too! Look! Both my hands—one's snapping, and the other is…"

Suddenly, he realized his other hand was still holding Luna's.

Warmth radiated from her palm, her fingertips cool and soft—smooth as polished ivory. The familiar scent of grass and woods drifted between them: light, fresh, with a hint of gentle mystery.

The two leaves, caught in the air, seemed to lose all restraint—sometimes shooting up to the ceiling, sometimes swooping low over the floor, darting about in a dizzying, thrilling dance.

"Silent casting and wandless casting?" Luna's voice was as airy and gentle as ever, her cheeks tinged with a delicate, cherry blossom pink. "It sounds… like a rather remarkable bit of spellwork, doesn't it?"

Wyzett felt his face flush. He stammered, "It's… not bad. I mean, I can only manage it with the Levitation Charm for now. It's a basic spell, but still—a pretty big step for me."

He took a steadying breath, gently let go of her hand, and picked up his wand. "Leaves, come!"

"I think I've improved too," Luna said with a soft smile. She picked up her wand and, in her most proper, deliberate voice, intoned, "Wingardium… Levi… o… sa!"

As she flicked and swished her wand, Wyzett felt the two leaves in his hand drawn upward, slowly floating into the air.

Just as he'd done before, the leaves didn't simply rise at the wand's command—they seemed to ride invisible currents, drifting and gliding on imagined breezes.

Luna put down her wand, stood, and extended her palm. The two leaves fluttered down, landing gracefully in her hand. "How's that, Professor Wyzett?"

"It took me ages to master the Levitation Charm," Wyzett replied with a smile. "And now, I'm learning from you, Professor Luna!"

"Mmm… Someday, we'll help each other get even better, Professor Wyzett!" Luna hummed contentedly, her eyes shining with quiet joy.

"Wingardium… Levi… o… sa!" She cast the spell again, and the leaves spun through the air like happy butterflies…

The next morning, Wyzett curled his finger, guiding his levitating suitcase out of the room.

While Luna and Xenophilius were still asleep, he drew his wand and set the kitchen utensils to work, preparing breakfast.

Before long, Luna appeared at the top of the stairs, wand in hand, using the Levitation Charm to coax her suitcase down, step by step.

Seeing her face alight with excitement, Wyzett simply smiled and watched. This was Luna savoring the magic for herself—he wouldn't dream of interrupting such a moment.

Summer mornings always came early, and today the sky was a flawless blue—no clouds in sight, the perfect day for an adventure.

Just as Wyzett finished three fried eggs and was about to wake Xenophilius, the owls, Sol and Diana, began hooting outside.

Moments later, the door knocker sounded, and the unmistakable voices of the Weasley twins drifted in from the garden.

"So this is what those seeds grow into! I've never seen flowers in these colors."

"Me neither—how magical! They're this color now, but I heard they change with the seasons…"

Molly Weasley's voice rang out, sharp as ever: "George! Behave yourselves! If you want to play, play with the Christmas cacti at home!"

"But Mum… I'm Fred!"

"Yeah! I'm George… Ow! Mum! My heart is broken! You can never tell us apart!"

"Yeah! Mum! Fourteen years together, and you still can't tell who's who! It's tragic! Absolutely tragic!"

The twins' voices, full of mock despair, bounced off each other in perfect rhythm.

Molly's tone softened a little. "Alright, George, Fred, I got it wrong. Sorry, loves…"

"Heh! Actually, I am George, Mum—you got it right!"

"Hahaha! But we'll still take your apology, Mum!"

A round of high-fives echoed through the entryway.

Luna hurried down and opened the door. "Mrs. Weasley, good morning!"

Molly's voice instantly turned warm and motherly. "Luna, good morning! You're up early too? Did your father make breakfast? I saw smoke from the kitchen."

"It's Wyzett making breakfast. Please, come in!"

The whole group crowded into the living room. When Molly saw Wyzett whisking eggs, she sighed in mock exasperation. "Merlin's beard! If only my two were as helpful as you, Wyzett—you make life so much easier for your mother!"

"We can get rid of gnomes!"

"We can feed the chickens!"

"We might not beat Percy's grades—"

"But ours aren't bad either!"

The twins chimed in, counting off their virtues on their fingers.

"Alright, alright!" Molly said, unable to hide her smile. "I know you're both brilliant! If only you'd behave better at Hogwarts—I've had more than enough complaint letters to last a lifetime!"

Wyzett turned off the stove and greeted them, "Mrs. Weasley, Fred, George—good morning! Would you like some fried eggs?"

"Good lad! I've already made oatmeal porridge," Molly replied, waving him off. "Xenophilius told us you're heading off on holiday, so he asked me to look after the garden."

Wyzett quickly said, "So Mr. Lovegood asked you for help? Thank you so much!"

Fred and George both waved their hands, speaking in turn:

"No worries! If you're going to Sweden, bring back some souvenirs!"

"The stranger the better—odd magical things, that's what we love!"

"Alright, enough of that!" Molly scolded, giving the twins a look. "We're just neighbors helping each other. There's no need to fuss."

"Molly… morning!" Xenophilius shuffled down the stairs, hair wild, rubbing his eyes in an effort to look awake.

He carried an old leather notebook, its cover worn and sturdy. "Sorry… I was up late packing last night…"

He walked straight to Molly and handed her the notebook.

"Just water the plants every day… If anything strange happens, you can check the notebook for instructions."

"It's easy to use—just hold it near any flower acting up, and the solution will appear on the page."

Hearing this, Wyzett couldn't help but marvel again at the wonders of magic. Even a notebook could be enchanted to help with the garden.

Luna sidled up beside him and whispered, "Mum wrote that. I used it all the time before I learned all the flowers myself."
