Chapter 239 - 《Harry Potter- Ravenclaw》Chapter 107: The Marauder’s Map

After all the chaos, the three of them finally wrapped up their nighttime adventure.

As they rode the moving staircase, George couldn't help but ask, "Wyzett, how did you come up with that magic you used back there?"

Fred was just as curious. "Yeah! I always thought your magical gadgets were made with alchemy, but it turns out it's just magic?"

"Maybe I'm just better at Transfiguration than most," Wyzett replied with a modest smile. "Professor Sprout shared a theory with me, and I worked it into my Transfiguration spells."

"Professor Sprout's theory?" George and Fred exchanged a look. "So she's been holding out on us!"

"Figures," Fred declared, putting on a mock-serious face. "That swamp magic of hers is definitely not simple."

"Of course! She's a Hogwarts professor, after all," George agreed, nodding sagely. "None of them are simple."

"Except Lockhart!" they chorused, breaking into mischievous grins.

Wyzett just shrugged—Professor Lockhart was always a bit of an oddity, a walking contradiction if there ever was one.

"Fred, George, if you're interested in the theory, I can tell you about it," Wyzett offered.

Fred's eyes lit up. "Really? You'd share that with us?"

"Isn't that Professor Sprout's secret weapon?" George piped up, equally excited.

"It was just good timing," Wyzett explained, shaking his head. "I wasn't the only one there—Luna and Hannah were helping with the herbs too."

"Come on, tell us!" The twins rubbed their hands together in perfect sync, eager as ever.

Pulling out his notes, Wyzett began to explain the "Magic Cube Theory" as they climbed the stairs. The twins listened, wide-eyed and silent for once.

Compared to most students, Fred and George had a much stronger magical foundation, and they immediately recognized the brilliance of the theory.

"So you can really do it that way…" George said, a look of sudden realization on his face. "I bet we could make that nose-biting teacup, too!"

Fred nodded, swaying with excitement. "The next generation's got us beat, George! Don't you think—"

"I know what you're about to say!" George cut in, nodding. "Such a valuable secret, and he just told us outright…"

"It's not that precious, honestly," Wyzett said, overhearing them. He shrugged and waved a hand. "Professor Sprout told me all this. Since she was willing to share, I've got no reason to keep it to myself. At most, I'm just… generous with someone else's kindness."

"But you've added your own insights, and that's what matters," Fred insisted. "Since you're sharing such a treasure…"

"Are we the stingy type?" George grinned. "Hang on—" He dug deep into his pocket, rummaging around until he finally pulled out a battered roll of parchment.

It was old, square, and clearly well-used, its edges frayed and corners worn.

Still, Wyzett didn't dare underestimate it.

In the magical world, ancient things often carried powerful enchantments—always worth investigating.

He activated his Oculus Magicae and saw that the parchment's magical circuitry was astonishingly complex—even more tangled than a Mandrake's, like a knot of threads impossible to unravel. Most intriguing of all, some circuits radiated outward from the center, stretching beyond the parchment itself, branching out like a spider's web.

George wiped his brow. "Found it at last! I hid it deep to dodge Filch earlier."

He and Fred shared a look, their usual playfulness replaced by a rare seriousness.

"This is our biggest secret, Wyzett," Fred said quietly.

"But you're special—our cherished materials consultant, and now a fellow night wanderer! We can trust you with this," George added.

Hearing their solemn tone, Wyzett examined the parchment and guessed, "Is this connected to Hogwarts? Is it… a magical map?"

"Oi! Don't guess so quickly!" Fred yelped, his composure breaking. "Let us finish, will you?"

"Yeah, at least act surprised for us—give us a bit of satisfaction, okay?" George pleaded, blinking exaggeratedly, hope sparkling in his eyes.

He was so distracted he nearly tripped on the stairs—Wyzett and Fred quickly grabbed his arms to steady him.

"Touched… I'm truly touched!" George declared, dragging them all down to sit on the steps.

He unrolled the parchment, revealing a blank square. "Wyzett, whatever you do, don't blink!"

Drawing his wand, George tapped the parchment and intoned solemnly, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!"

Where his wand touched, a spot of ink blossomed, quickly unfurling into delicate lines that spread across the parchment, sketching out the full outline of Hogwarts Castle.

Above the map, glowing green words appeared:

Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs

Purveyors of Aids to Magical Mischief-Makers

are proud to present

The Marauder's Map

The once-thin parchment thickened, becoming almost like a little book.

George placed The Marauder's Map in Wyzett's hands. "Go on, open it up!"

Fred coughed softly and whispered, "Remember, act surprised!"

"I am surprised!" Wyzett played along, eyes wide. "It's… absolutely incredible!"

With the help of his Oculus Magicae, he watched the tangled magical circuits unravel and spread to every corner, becoming beautifully clear.

What's more, the thickened parchment had been Transfigured—using a long-lasting spell, no less. It was a marvel of magical craftsmanship, and worth studying in its own right.

The transformation alone sparked dozens of new ideas in Wyzett's mind.

He unfolded the map, revealing a detailed layout of Hogwarts Castle and its grounds, every nook and cranny accounted for.

But what truly astonished him were the black dots scattered across The Marauder's Map.

Clusters of dots surrounded the house common rooms—four great gatherings, likely representing the sleeping students of each house.

Wyzett moved his gaze to the Headmaster's Office.

There it was—Headmaster Dumbledore's name, pacing back and forth within the office.

Professor Snape was awake, too, wandering restlessly in his office…
