Chapter 240 - 《Harry Potter- Ravenclaw》Chapter 108: The Map Chamber?

Wyzett glanced at the moving staircase, pinpointing his exact location.

On The Marauder's Map, his name and the names of the Weasley twins appeared right at the fifth-floor moving staircase platform.

He pointed to two parallel dotted lines on the map, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "George, these dotted lines—do they mean… secret passages?"

"Exactly!" George replied, eyebrows raised in satisfaction. "We've picked up loads of tricks from this little treasure!"

Fred looked equally smug. "We'd never have learned half as much from Lockhart or Trelawney, that's for sure!"

Wyzett nodded in understanding. "So the secret passage you told me about last time—you found it on this map, right?"

George folded his arms. "That's right! Most of the secret passages we know came straight from the map."

"Praise Padfoot and Prongs!" Fred declared in mock ceremony. "All thanks to their generosity!"

"Praise Moony and Wormtail!" George added, just as theatrically. "True legends, all of them!"

"With their help, we can finally go toe-to-toe with Filch. That old git knows too many secret passages himself!"

"Oh, and if you ever want to hide the map again, just take out your wand and give it a tap…"

Following George's instructions, Wyzett tapped The Marauder's Map with his wand. "Mischief managed!"

At once, the map shriveled before his eyes, the intricate ink lines retreating until all that remained was an old, square scrap of parchment.

He tried to hand the map back to George, but George pushed it right back. "Keep it! We've memorized everything on it anyway."

"But—" Wyzett began.

"No buts!" Fred cut him off with a grin. "Honestly, we've got our reasons for giving it to you."

"We still want to have a bit of fun with Filch ourselves," George explained. "So… the task of finding us a secret base is all yours!"

"Well, thank you," Wyzett said, his voice earnest. He felt genuinely moved.

Whether for practical use or magical research, a map like this was priceless. The twins' willingness to hand it over so casually proved they truly regarded him as a friend.

"Perfect expression!" George teased, miming a camera. "If you could just squeeze out a tear or two, that'd be even better!"

Fred laughed. "Come on, Wyzett—you shared your Magic Cube Theory with us. Of course we've got to give you something good in return. Don't get all sappy on us!"

Wyzett nodded, smiling. "Alright! Leave the secret base to me."

He remembered the twins mentioning this at the start of term.

And as it happened, he already knew of a place perfect for a secret base—but since Serena had told him about it, he'd need her permission first.

On the way back to the common room, Fred and George shared stories from their early days—how they'd matched wits with Filch as first-years.

Before they'd found The Marauder's Map, they were always on the losing end: caught by Filch, dragged into his office for detention, and forced to watch as Professor McGonagall took house points away.

It wasn't until they discovered the map in a drawer labeled "Confiscated and Highly Dangerous" that the tables finally turned.

Back in the common room, Wyzett didn't head straight to the dormitory. Instead, he settled into a chair and opened the notebook Serena had given him.

He still remembered her letter: "We'll try our best to give you whatever help you need."

But in the depths of the Guardian's Chamber, all he'd found was this notebook.

Given that the notebook contained Portkey magic, it seemed likely it held other secrets as well.

On the cover was a swirling crystal, reminiscent of the mechanisms in the Guardian's Chamber.

Wyzett pressed his wand tip against the crystal, channeling Ancient Magic into it.

The crystal shimmered with a silvery-blue light, its vortex beginning to swirl. A message rippled up the wand and into his mind.

Just as he'd suspected, the notebook could serve not only as a Portkey but also as a magical communicator—allowing him to contact Serena and the others.

He opened the notebook, using his wand as a quill and Ancient Magic as ink, and wrote:

Ms. Pendragon, hello. I'd like to use that storeroom—may I?

Just as he was about to close the notebook, new words appeared in a neat, flowing script:

What a polite junior! I didn't expect you to get the notebook so quickly—you're quite the go-getter! The storeroom? You mean the Gallery, right? Of course you can use it!

Wyzett replied: Thank you very much!

Just call me Serena next time. And… are you still up so late because you've discovered the joys of night wandering?

Yes, I found some fascinating books in the Restricted Section.

The Restricted Section… brings back memories! Oh, by the way—the notebook's Portkey isn't just for the chamber behind the Gallery. There's another place it can take you as well.

Another place?

It's called the Map Chamber. I spent ages searching for it back in my day. If you're interested, you should check it out.

Given the Ancient Magic armor in the Gallery, Wyzett figured the Map Chamber might have similar challenges.

He recalled that at the end of last term, Dumbledore had promised to teach him how to cast armor magic.

He decided to wait until he'd mastered that before exploring the Map Chamber.

Facing Ancient Magic armor head-on would be the perfect way to deepen his understanding.

On Sunday morning, Wyzett spent most of his time on potions, brewing a massive cauldron of developing solution—enough to last the whole term.

Everything was going according to plan.

With the potion done, he borrowed Colin Creevey's instant camera and spent some time by the Black Lake with Luna, snapping a whole roll of photos.

After soaking the pictures in the developing solution, the scenes and people within began to move, capturing the emotions of the moment—utterly enchanting.

At 1:50 p.m., as always, Wyzett arrived ten minutes early at Professor Snape's office.

The office looked much the same as ever, except that a large cloth now covered something in the corner. From beneath it came faint rustling sounds, like a creature feeding…
