John got out of his chair, after looking at his watch and seeing that it was 6:50 am. John stood up and walked out of his office, he went straight into his bathroom and began to take a shower. The best thing about being young again was that he didn't have to shave just yet.
John finished in the shower and got out before he dried himself off. John put on some cologne before he got dressed in blue jeans, a green shirt and a black sweater. John walked out of the bathroom and summoned a black backpack and some other school supplies. John put all the stuff in the backpack, he organized all the stuff into different pouches. John put his switch blade into his pocket, then he looked at his watch.
It was currently 7:00 am, so John walked out the front door and walked over to the Wheeler's house. John rang the doorbell and waited. Seconds later Nancy opened the door and greeted John. She said, "Good morning, John." Nancy could smell a nice scent from John.
John said, "Good morning, Nancy."
Nancy said, "Mike will be ready in just a minute."
John said, "Alright. So, what classes do you take?"
Nancy said, "I am taking Chemistry, Geometry, English 12, Home Economics, and History. Oh and P.E."
John said, "Sounds like you don't like P.E."
Nancy said, "Yeah, I don't like to run. Which is mainly what we do in Gym."
John said, "Well, at least it's not every day." Nancy nodded. They talked for a couple more minutes before Mike came out the front door. He looked super excited, he said, "I'm ready." John nodded and Nancy rolled her eyes before she followed John over to his car. John opened the door and put the seat forward.
Mike climbed in and began to look around. John put the seat back before Nancy got in the car and sat down. She also started to look around at the inside of the car. The main thing she noticed was that the car was clean and there was a very nice smell in the car.
John got in the driver seat and then turned the key, the car immediately roared to life. Nancy was a little startled. Mike was super excited, he said, "Wow." John then backed out of the driveway before he drove down the street.
John drove past some trees and made a couple of turns. John was following his Map to get to the school. About 10 minutes later they arrived at the school. The Highschool was right next to the middle school and both schools shared a parking lot. John drove down the row of cars as many people looked over. John parked the car in the front row, nearest to the school and stepped out of the car.
Many people were looking at him, John ignored them and walked over to the other side before he opened the door and Nancy got out. Mike also got out but no one payed him any mind. They were to focused on John and Nancy. Mike said, "Thanks for the ride, John."
John said, "No problem, Mike."
Nancy said, "Everyone is looking at us."
John said, "Yeah. Anyway, want to show me around?"
Nancy said, "Sure, let's go." John nodded and locked his car before they began walking to the main door of the school. Nancy led John to the office and introduced him to the secretary. The secretary was able to quickly write down John's classes. John and Nancy thanked the old women before they left the office.
John handed his schedule to Nancy. Nancy said, "The only class we have together is Geometry."
John said, "Well, that is unfortunate. At least we can eat lunch together, right?"
Nancy said, "No, I have lunch at a different time."
John said, "Oh. We can study together after school."
Nancy cheered up and said, "Okay." Nancy led John around the halls showing him where each of his classes were. They finished right before the bell was about to ring. Nancy saw this and said, "Oh no, I'm going to be late. See you later, John."
John said, "See you." Then Nancy ran off to her class. John walked to his first class at a leisurely rate. John didn't care about school politics; he would get to class when he wanted. John arrived to his classroom a couple minutes after the bell had chimed. John walked into the classroom and walked to the back of class.
The teacher looked at John for a second before she ignored him and continued to teach. The desks were set up where two people sat at a desk. John walked to the only open seat, then he sat down. This startled a shy light skinned girl sitting there.
The girl looked over and saw John sitting next to her, John looked at her as well. Observing her closely, John thought the girl was cute in the nerdy type of way. She wore silver glasses, she had bright blue eyes and super curly blonde hair. She wasn't super skinny like many of the girls he had passed by in the halls.
John said, "Hi, I'm John. You are?"
The girl shifted shyly before she said, "H-Hi, my n-name is April."
John smiled and said, "What a beautiful name."
April looked down shyly and said quietly, "Thank you."
John said, "Nice to meet you, April. I hope we can get along." April nodded as she began to calm down some. John started to look at the blackboard in the front of the room, but he quickly lost interest. John looked over at April who was staring at the front and writing notes.
After 45 minutes, the teacher stopped teaching. She said, "Alright, class. We will be taking a small quiz today to see how much of the stuff you have remembered from our class today." Everyone groaned as the teacher began to pass out the quiz.
The teacher arrived in front of John and said, "I know that you are new, but try your best." John nodded as he took the quiz from her, then he handed one of the papers to April. John looked down at the paper and saw that it was simple U.S. History. John filled out his name, writing John Adler. Then he began to write down answers to the quiz quickly. When John finished, he leaned back in his chair. John looked at his watch and saw there were only a few minutes before the end of class.
The teacher said, "Okay, everyone. Time is up. Please hand me your quiz before you leave." John stood up, followed by April and walked to the front of the class. John handed his quiz to the teacher before he walked out of the classroom and headed to his next class. John's next class was Home Economics.
John felt that someone was following so he looked behind and saw April walking behind him. John said, "Hey, April. Are you going to Home Ec. as well?"
April said shyly, "Yes."
John asked, "So, what did you think of the quiz?"
April said, "It was pretty easy."
John said, "I thought so as well. Do you like Home Economics?"
April nodded and said, "I like to cook."
John asked, "Do you want to partner up with me?"
April said, "Sure."
John asked, "What classes do you have next?" April told John her schedule.
John said, "Wow, we have the same classes all day."
April was a little surprised, but she thought, 'It will be nice sitting next to John. He is very handsome, but he wouldn't like a girl like me. I'm not skinny enough."'
April's face showed that she was a little down. John noticed this and said, "What wrong, April?"
April changed her face and said, "Nothing."
John said, "If you say so." Right after John said this, they arrived at the classroom. John walked inside and walked over to a seat in the back, April followed him.
When she saw the seat John chose, she said, "You can't sit there."
John asked, "Why not?"
April said, "That's Andrew's seat. he won't be happy that you took his seat."
John said, "If he has a problem, he can say so himself." April sighed before she sat down beside John.
A couple minutes later, a tall blonde boy walked into the classroom, he looked like the typical jock that you could find in any movie. Under his arm was a blonde-haired chick. They walked towards John and April and when they saw them their faces scrunched up.
They walked toward John and April. April immediately got nervous as the two got closer and closer. They arrived before John and the chick said to April, "Get out of my seat, Nerd." April tried to get up, but John pulled her back down.
Andrew saw this and said, "Get out of my seat or else."
John said, "Or else, what?" Andrew was about to say something more, but he was interrupted by the teacher walking into the room.
Andrew said, "This isn't over" Then the boy walked away and sat down in another seat.
April said nervously, "We should have just moved."
John said, "No, that chick insulted you. If they asked nicely, it wouldn't be a problem, but they had an attitude."
April said, "But Andrew is definitely not going to let this go."
John said, "Don't worry so much. Why didn't you retaliate against that chick?"
April said, "That's Becky, she is one of the most popular girls in the school. I'm just a nerd."
John said, "So what if you're a nerd. You are also beautiful, smart, and friendly."
April said, "You don't have to lie to me. You would never even consider me a possible girlfriend."
John said, "And why is that?"
April said, "Well look at me. I'm mixed, nerdy, and I'm not super skinny like the other girls."
John said, "Well, I like how you look."
April was surprised and her face blushed lightly. She said, "Really?"
John nodded and said, "Yeah, I like your blonde hair and your skin and your blue eyes. I like that you are not so super skinny."
April blushed fiercely as she looked down at the table. The teacher was setting up her presentation this whole time. The teacher said, "Okay class today we are making mini apple pies. Please follow the instructions I have set at each desk."
John said, "Let's get started, April." April nodded as she began to work together with John to create the apple pies. They followed the step-by-step instructions and ended up making 3 mini apple pies.
The teacher came over to their desk and said, "Good job, you get an A."
John smiled and gave April a high five. John started to eat one of the pies. He looked over at April and saw that she was just sitting there quietly. John said, "You're not gonna have one?"
April nodded and said, "I am too fat already."
John frowned and said, "Would you stop putting yourself down. I told you before, you are beautiful as you are."
April blushed and nodded shyly before she started to eat one of the pies as well. They finished eating right on time as the bell began to ring. John walked out of the room with April, they were walking closer together. John was walking down the hall when he was pushed forward.
John turned around and saw Andrew looking at him with a glint in his eye. John said, "Don't test me." Then John continued to walk down the hall with April. John saw Andrew rushing towards him in the Map, so he turned around and punched straight at Andrew's face. John's fist connected and Andrew fell to the ground with a dull thud.
John said, "I warned you." At this point many people had gathered around them. John then started walking away with April once again. April was stunned by how John handled the situation, so she followed John in a daze.
It wasn't until they arrive in their Chemistry that April broke free from her daze. April said, "What if you get in trouble, John?"
John said, "Don't worry, April. I doubt anyone will tell on me."
April said, "Becky definitely will."
John said, "No she won't, Andrew won't let her."
April said, "How do you know that?"
John answered, "No man likes to show his weakness."
Chemistry passed by quickly as John and April talked to each other and did their experiments. The bell rang and they left their room heading to Geometry. John walked into the class with April, and he walked over to Nancy who was sitting in the back. John sat down at the desk next to her with April.
Nancy said, "John, your here."
John said, "Yep. Nancy looked over by John and saw April.
Nancy said, "Hi, April. How are you doing today?"
April said quietly, "I'm good."
Nancy nodded before she said, "John, this is Barbara. Barb for short. She is my best friend."
John looked at the redheaded girl with short hair and a freckly face. John said, "Nice to meet you."
Barb said, "You as well."
They had to stop their conversation as the teacher began to start the lesson. As Barb wrote down some notes, she whispered to Nancy. She said, "Nancy, you didn't tell me John was such a hotty."
Nancy whispered back, "You didn't ask."
Barb said, "I think you like him. You better hurry, he looks pretty interested in April."
Nancy said, "What! Oh, no." Barb smiled mischievously. Nancy seeing Barb realized she had been tricked. Nancy looked over at John and saw that he was leaning back in his chair, occasionally she would see John help April with a math question.
When class ended, John walked out of the classroom with Barb, April and Nancy. John walked out into the hall with the girls, and they followed Nancy to her locker. Coincidentally, all of their lockers were next to each other and that is how they had first met. In this school, you keep the same locker for your whole time in Highschool.
John leaned against the locker as he waited for the girls to finish. April said, "You're not going to your locker, John?"
John said, "I didn't even put anything in it."
April said, "Oh."
Barb said, "Hey, Nancy. Look its Steve Harrington."
Nancy said, "What about him?"
Barb said, "Didn't you have a crush in him?"
Nancy said, "Yeah, but he wouldn't be interested in me."
Barb said, "You should go talk to him."
Nancy glanced at John before she said, "Okay." Barb was surprised but she quickly encouraged her. John looked at her walk away, but he didn't stress.
John said, "April, you ready to go?"
April said, "Yeah." She turned around, not seeing that her shirt had gotten caught in her locker. When she turned suddenly, her shirt had been ripped open, exposing her large bra covered breasts. Many people started to look over, but John stepped in front of her and took off his sweater before he gave it to her.
April quickly wore the sweater, before she said quietly, "Thank you, John." John smiled before he ripped the rest of the shirt that was stuck in the locker. April took off the shirt, under the sweater before she began to walk with John down the hall. John was standing right beside her, and their hands would touch occasionally.
Nancy who had successfully talked to Steve, had seen this whole event and clenched her fist slightly. She was a little jealous of April, however she talked with Steve for a while longer. They made a plan to see a movie together.
Then Nancy walked back over to Barb as they walked to their next class. Meanwhile, John and April had just arrived in the cafeteria. They sat down at one of the many tables together and pulled out their lunches.
April took out a ham sandwich and an apple, while John took out a Chicken stir fry. John began to eat and so did April, but she quickly spit the bite of sandwich into a napkin. John asked, "What's wrong?"
April said, "I think the ham is spoiled."
John said, "You can have some of my lunch if you want." April was about to refuse but suddenly she felt her stomach churn. April nodded and took the fork from John. April took a bite, she swallowed before she said, "This is really good."
John said, "I'm glad you like it." John picked up the apple and took a bite. John watched as April ate the entire container of stir fry. April broke out of her daze when her fork hit nothing, she looked down and saw that she had eaten all the stir fry.
April said bashfully, "I ate it all, John."
John said, "That's okay. Was it good?"
April nodded her head. John smiled and said, "That's good."
April asked, "Where did you find this food?"
John said, "I made it, I learned how to cook it when I was in China."
April said, "Wow! That's so cool. I have never even been outside of Hawkins."
John said, "Maybe you will in the future."
April said, "I hope so, although I do love it here."
John said, "You could always come back." April nodded.
John and April talked for 30 minutes before the bell rang. Hearing the bell, they got up from their table and threw their trash in the garbage before they walked out of the cafeteria. They arrived at the Gym before they split up, John went to the boy's locker room while April went to the girl's locker room.
John walked into the locker room and saw a few dudes standing around and getting changed. John walked over to a locker and opened it before he put his backpack inside. John discreetly summoned a white t shirt and some red short. John took off his clothes and changed into his gym wear. While he was changing many people had seen John's muscle packed body. Steve was one of the people who had seen him, and he felt a little intimidated.
