Chapter 2 - the start

Max's sharp eyes immediately catch the CCTV wire, hanging — cut cleanly. Then he sees the telephone wire, also severed.

---

Max (coldly):

The killer planned everything.

The CCTV and the phone — both disabled in advance.

(He inhales slowly. His face is unreadable.)

---

Roy (nodding):

He attacked during lunch too. Fewer people around.

Less chance of witnesses. Perfect timing.

(Max says nothing. He just stares at the empty chair — then slowly walks to the window and looks down again.)

(Max is still inspecting the room.)

Max (coldly):

Whoever did this… wasn't scared of a trial.

Roy:

Why?

Max:

Instead of hiding the body, he threw it in front of everyone.

Maybe… he wanted us to be here.

Roy (shrugs):

Well, our salary doesn't match our work.

What would he want from us?

Max:

Let's check the CCTV.

(Just then, Max's eyes catch something — a colorful piece of paper on the otherwise dull table. In a room full of black and white, it stands out. He picks it up and opens it slowly.)

Written in blood:

"Who will be next?"

Roy (peeking over):

What is it?

(He sees it and gets chills.)

Max:

It's the doctor's blood…

Still wet.

Roy (quietly):

Maybe that's what he wants from us…

Max (serious):

A Tom and Jerry game.

(He walks out of the room. They head toward the CCTV control room.)

---

INT. CCTV ROOM – MINUTES LATER

(Max plays the footage. The angle covers the cabin's door area, but the door itself is a blind spot.)

Roy:

Everything looks normal...

(Then suddenly — on the footage — the doctor freaks out and stumbles back. The feed cuts.)

Roy:

Why did he suddenly freak out?

Max:

Note the exact time.

Then check the camera outside the cabin.

Roy (jotting it in his notebook):

Got it.

(They switch to the hallway cam and then the washroom at the exact time. They watch it closely.)

Roy (confused):

Wait... the last patient never came out
