In the Ninja Academy's rooftop.
"Well, I'm Hatake Kakashi...hmm....hm.....so that's all there is to it. Let's start with your introductions, then," Kakashi said shamelessly and continued, "You there on the right with yellow hair, let's start with you."
"What the hell is that introduction..." Sakura muttered to herself just before it was Naruto's turn.
"Oh, me?" Naruto became excited the next moment and said with a cheery smile, "My name is Naruto Uzumaki, I like eating Ramen....what I dislike is waiting for it to get cooked...as for my dream?" Naruto's grin widened the next instant, and he declared with determination-filled eyes, "It's to become the Hokage and have the whole village acknowledge my existence!..."
'Oh?' Kakashi's eyes widened when he heard Naruto's words the next instant, and Obito's memories played back in his mind.
'He's grown in an interesting manner...' Kakashi thought, and gestured for Sasuke to speak next.
"I'm Uchiha Sasuke. I don't have many likes or dislikes. My dream is to get stronger and revive my clan. My hobby is training. That's all," Sasuke muttered.
'Well, I think that much should suffice.' Sasuke coughed to hide his embarrassment as he finished his short introduction.
'Hmmm, he's milder than I thought,' Kakashi thought with a subtle frown.
"Alright, that's the pink-haired girl's chance," Kakashi gestured towards Sakura.
"Yes!... My name is Haruno Sakura. The thing I like is Kyaa....and my dream for the future is..." Sakura thought of what she had heard earlier and, sneakily glancing towards Sasuke, she proudly declared, "It's to become a good wife!"
Sigh
A deep sigh escaped from Kakashi's mouth as he face-palmed himself in disappointment.
'Are we here to play house? What's with that response even?!' He thought in frustration as he looked at Sakura's face, which had taken the colour of a tomato from embarrassment.
'Whatever, I'll just brief them first,' Kakashi thought and explained to them how the test to become a Genin was not yet finished and if they didn't pass the survival training test, then they would fail and be forced to go back to the academy.
"What?!"
"No way!"
A panic-filled exclamation escaped from Sakura and Naruto's mouths as their anxiety about the future gnawed at their hearts.
"Alright, here are the details of the test, be sure to arrive early in the morning and also don't eat your breakfast otherwise you might end up vomiting."
Kakashi handed out three sheets to them.
They soon read through the whole information in great detail, and seeing that they had no doubts, Kakashi took his leave.
'I'll get going then as well,' Sasuke stood up while Naruto and Sakura were still recovering from the news and before they could say anything to him, he disappeared.
Seeing this, Naruto too stood up and exclaimed as he rushed towards his house, "Right! I can't waste time! I must do some last-minute training!"
"Yeah...I must also brush up on some things," Sakura thought to herself and rushed to her home.
The reason why Sasuke was in so much of a hurry was not because he wanted to train but because he wanted to complete the tasks assigned by the system so that he could unlock his Sharingan as fast as possible.
'If I keep rolling my eyes in public, people will think that I'm crazy...' Sasuke thought to himself, and soon reached his home.
After freshening up, he sat on his bed and started rolling his eyes like a maniac.
"...this is harder than I thought..." Sasuke muttered as a sense of dizziness took over him the next moment.
"Let's palm my eyes for relief." He shifted to the next task and performed several palming exercises before starting with the eye rolling again.
Time passed, and by a quarter to nine in the evening, Sasuke glanced at the system panel with strained eyes.

"Looking at these tasks, I thought that it was similar to getting Sharingan on a silver platter...but even this is not easy to do," Sasuke muttered to himself.
His head was aching severely after straining his eyes for so long. If he did more then he feared that he would damage his eyes instead, so Sasuke was forced to stop.
"I guess completing it all in a single night was a pipedream..." He sighed and hoped that he would be able to finish everything and activate his sharingan before they leave for the wave country.
'Things would get a lot less risky for me in that case,' With this thought, Sasuke went to make dinner with some leftovers, and after eating it all, he went to his bed.
As he closed his eyes, his strained eye muscles thanked him earnestly as a wave of relief was felt by him and the intensity of his migraine lessened substantially. Before long, he soon fell asleep.
