Chapter 25 - Chapter 23

Gatto Notes: Smut Omake is WIP! I'll finish it at the latest, next Monday.

So anyhow, Enjoy~

[=============================]

The sounds of birds chirping could be heard, as the warm ray of sunshine hit the Himejima Household.

"Yaawn~... Maybe I should call the old man already…" I muttered after I stretched, before quickly shaking my head, and removing that thought in my head.

"Nah… The old man would probably abandon his job and rush here if I mentioned it."

I turned my sight back to the smart phone in my hand, which is currently showing a passed video featuring Kamen Rider Kabuto, a Kamen Rider, who can travel back in time using his final form, Hyper Clock Up.

"Time travel, huh… I hope I can reach that height in the future." I muttered with a hopeful sigh.

Because— If I could just travel back in time, I could go back in the past to meet the Big G, and I can personally observe the Great war, and the sealing of Trihexia.

But most importantly—

"If I can travel back in time— I could save mom..."

I took a quick peek inside the Gacha Temple and checked my current Prismatic Diamonds, and sighed..

"80 huh… I still need 20 more for the 6★ Pity… and even then, I don't think Abilities and Items that can grant a person the ability to travel time freely would be 6 stars only."

While certain examples like Subaru's RBD do exist… and it's most likely 5★ or 6★ only.

His ability just doesn't allow him to travel time freely, because to activate it. He needs to die.

What's more, he reset time until his "checkpoint" which is— useless to me, since I need to travel back decades, or even centuries…

Heck, even if I only travel back in time to save mom, I won't be able to achieve it with RBD, since the "checkpoints" will only get added when I obtain it.

Adding to the fact that I have no idea whether the Re:Zero banner would come back…

It's truly hopeless.

For now, I should just do my best to grind more Prismatic Diamonds. Plus, everything will be better once the

Cool down to the Prismatic Diamond Bonus Stage finishes.

I'm stronger than I was before, after all…

Maybe I can take this chance to grind hundreds of Prismatic Diamonds so I don't need to worry about Pity anymore.

But—

I'm worried about what enemies I'll be facing when the new banner comes…

I thought about the previous banners… The General Banner's enemies were "humans". Regular ones that use hot weapons.

I could have obliterated them all if not for me— getting stripped of most of my abilities!

It makes me frustrated every time I think about it. Since I wasn't able to use both Time, and my Spirits.

All I could use was the flow method, and other regular demonic spells, as well as items I had gotten from the Gacha.

In the end, I died. Not die because they outnumbered me… BUT BECAUSE OF A FRIGGIN NUKE.

Literal tactical nuke sent my way from who knows where.

What's worse, the arena for the General Banner was massive! Maybe the size of a whole country.

And while the Portal always spawns near my vicinity. I always can't enter it because these goddamn "human" soldiers just swarm me until it's too late.

In comparison, the enemies from the Kamen Rider W banner were more manageable.

Because I was just able to use all my abilities except for Time. The dopants were handled quite easily, but that goshdarn Eternal just had to ruin it all.

Bitch just appeared out of nowhere and used his maximum overdrive on me, and I was shredded to oblivion.

Thankfully… I survived the General Banner bonus stage prior to the W's.

And all because the Portal Spawned literally right in front of me.

I think the people running the Gacha Temple pitied me back then..

….

I sighed one last time before I stood up from the chair I was sitting on.

And then, went back to the guest room I was assigned and changed back to my younger self.

I also changed out of Shoutaro's White Detective outfit and changed into more comfortable clothes before going back out.

"Hm? Good morning, Aunt Shuri."

I greeted the middle aged woman wearing a shrine uniform, who had also gotten out of her and the old man's bedroom.

"Ara~? Good morning, Hisaki-kun. You woke up pretty early today. It's still only 5am, so you can go back to sleep if you want."

"No thanks, I've already slept enough.

Anyways, you're gonna sweep in the shrine?" I answered her tacitly, before asking curiously, I never really knew much about what she does for the shrine.

Aunt Shuri shook her head before saying.

"Not yet, I need to prepare breakfast for everyone first. And then wait for Akeno to get ready before the two of us will head to the shrine together."

"I see…" I muttered before I inwardly shook my head, at the fact that this would have been Aunt Shuri's last morning if I wasn't here.

Although outwardly, I asked her something with a smile. "Want me to help?"

"It's fine Hisaki-kun, You're our guest, so you shouldn't do anything."

Hearing this, I nodded and didn't argue further, before I excused myself as I went out and walked towards my and the old man's usual training area, and briefly greeted my spirits once again before they got back to observing the area for any malicious individuals.

I spent some time doing my daily exercises, before I went back home soaked with sweat and full of dust, and was met with the now awake–twin's, greetings as they handed me a towel.

"Good morning to you two~ thanks as always." I caressed their heads, which they clearly greatly enjoyed, as their faces beamed while I was doing it.

…..

...…

At breakfast, while I was eating the very tasty breakfast that Aunt Shuri and the twins prepared for all of us.

I suddenly remembered what happened a few hours ago. And being the main reason for this fiasco, I decided to tell Aunt Shuri and Akeno, because they deserve to know.

"Oh right… A few hours ago, some magicians who wore the same clothes as Aunt Shuri and Akeno attacked. But no worries, I successfully sent them away."

After saying what needed to be said, I got back on savoring my meal in bliss…. I finished rather quickly, so I looked up, wanting to asked for seconds but—

"Why are you guys looking at me like you're seeing a Magical creature— oh wait."

"You're serious?!? Why did you not tell me, Hisaki!?!"

The first one to say anything was surprisingly the newest member, Minerva, as she looked at me both with anger and worry, as she showed me her clenching fists.

"No need to worry Eva. Those guys were pretty weak. In fact, I didn't even get serious." I replied sincerely. Trying to pacify the witch of wrath, who's still fuming.

"Fine! Just make sure to tell me if you need healing support!"

"I promise." I responded.

I then turned my head to the twins and looked at them in concern, because the two were mulling sadly.

"Rem wasn't even awake to help Hisa-nii.."

"...Stupid HisaHisa, we're supposed to be handling trivial tasks like these… I could have ended them quickly if they're as weak as he says they are."

Meanwhile, the mother and daughter duo were still reeling in shock, but most definitely for completely different reasons.

My intuition is telling me that Aunt Shuri is most likely shocked by the fact that the Himejima Clan sent people to attack… again, while her husband was away.

While Akeno was most definitely shocked about the attack in itself.

I opted to ignore the mother–daughter duo for now and looked back at the twins sitting besides me, and patted their heads.

"You guys don't need to be so down. I actually had something to test.. and those people were the perfect test dummies that I needed."

"Speaking of which… The thing I tested is actually a gift for the both of you. And I'll give it to you two once I'm finished with what I'm doing."

"Anyways, Today, just to be safe— Aunt Shuri and Akeno, please don't leave the house for the time being."

"...Alright. we'll do as you say, Hisaki-kun." Aunt Shuri nodded and sighed.

And for the remainder of the dinner, the table turned solemnly quiet.

"...."

"...."

'damn… this is awkward.' I thought as I looked at the girls who're unusually quiet.

Just as I was thinking of how to cleanse this air of awkwardness—

*Bang*

"KID! Are they fine!?!"

A loud bang echoed, which made everyone flinch, as the familiar worried voice of the old man echoed.

""Dad!/Dear!""

I looked at the old man who sighed in relief before meeting both Akeno and Aunt Shuri, both of them safe and sound.

'Guess he caught the culprit faster than I expected.' I thought before I turned my head away, as I prayed to particularly noone, hoping that the old man wouldn't get mad for what I'm about to propose.
