-Opens Patreon to update chapters.
-sees something that made me remove my glasses and clear my eyes, wondering if I saw it wrongly.
-I did not see it wrongly.
-Sees 131 paid members on Patreon.
-Gets a mini heart attacks as I frantically searched if Patreon is experiencing some error.
-cant find anything, so I decided to forget it and just wait and see.
-still doubting wether 131 people actually paid for membership, but still feels like it's just an error.

As expected, the Himejima Clan had indeed gotten a Fallen Angel Collaborator.
Apparently it's one of the members of the Radical faction.
That alone made my eyes narrow, as I thought about a certain Fallen Angel who collaborated with stray exorcists.
So I asked the old man who the culprit was and he told me a name who I didn't even recognize.
Still— I have my reasons to think that the culprit was in fact that old coot.
After all, he was the leader of the Radical Faction, and (was) is currently one of the Fallen Angel Cadre.
But I didn't tell the old man about it. After all, Kokabiel is a valuable experience source for Rias and Akeno in the future.
Plus, Without Kokabiel going batshit crazy in this town in the decade to come and stealing the Excalibur fragments, Rias wouldn't be able to get his other Rook, Xenovia .
And as for Issei—
Quite frankly, the only special thing about him is the boosted gear and his perverted obsession for breasts.
Remove the Boosted gear, and he will just be one of the massive perverts in the world.
He's pretty much not needed quite frankly.
Sure, in the main series, without Issei's kids, DxD would be completely invaded by ExE.
But this isn't the series. I wouldn't hand over the fate of the world over to some boob obsessed pervert.
And I certainly won't have my friend(s) be defiled by the same pervert.
Sure, I enjoyed watching him before from the perspective of a viewer, but now, not only am I not a viewer anymore.
I have become one of the "actors" of this world. And what's more, I had built a bond with the very same girls that Issei is about to touch inappropriately in the future.
So NOPE!
I'm gonna have to develop, or at the very least, obtain an item or ability that can safely remove the sacred gear from their current host.
It's the least I could do as a decent "human" being.
I glanced at the Himejima family currently watching a horror movie with the twins and Minerva.
And oh boy, only the mother-daughter duo were showing any reactions. While the rest, all who had personally seen and lived gory experience before, had no reaction watching a niche gory film.
'Yeah— I'll tell them about it once things calm down.'
I shook my head, opting to not ruin the current harmonious atmosphere.

A few days passed, and things had been pretty chill, these past few days.
So, today, I decided to finally pitch in what I had in mind to the Himejima family.
So now, the old man, aunt Shuri, and I, sat on their dining table.
While I asked the twins and Minerva to take Akeno to buy something in the nearest convenience store.
*Bang!* The sound of the old man banging the table was heard as he scowled at me from the other side of the table.
"...What!? You want Akeno to get reincarnated as a devil under some brat from the underworld!?! Kid, I hope you're kidding, but even then, this joke is not funny at all."
"It's not a joke. I'm serious, and— Akeno would not be part of just anyone's peerage. She will be part of the heir of Gremory Clan's peerage; Rias Gremory."
I answered him calmly.
Hearing my response, the old man narrowed his eyes in suspicion, but before he could say anything I raised my hand to stop him before I called out Kurumi.
Aunt Shuri was visibly confused why I had called one of my familiars, so I gave her a quick rundown on what I told the old man before.
Meanwhile, the old man, seeing the familiar golden spirit once more, turned serious, as his previous anger subsided.
"So your familiar saw the future once more?"
I nodded at his words, even though I was once again only using Kurumi as a cover for my meta knowledge.
"Oh my~ This is quite amazing isn't it?" Aunt Shuri voiced in amazement as she praised Kurumi who— "rolled her eyes" in response as she clearly realized what's about to happen.
"Indeed, Kurumi had shared yet another future vision the day of the attack happened." I stated, before I took a sip of the tea that aunt Shuri brewed.
"So? Out with it. What did you see?" The old man asked, his eyes clearly showing he was eager for the info for the future.
I shook my head and answered.
"There's a reason why I never told this until now, and I asked Minerva, Rem and Ram to take Akeno away. So here goes."
I took a deep breath and began telling them the "vision" that Kurumi "shared" with me.
But before that, I warned them.
"Disclaimer— the vision that Kurumi sent me isn't that accurate. Considering, for some reason, I just don't exist in them."
Hearing this, the couple frowned. But I ignored their reactions and began telling what happened in the Highschool DxD franchise.
Starting, of course, with Aunt Shuri's death. And how Akeno had come to resent her father after being unable to protect her and aunt Shuri.
And then, to the 3 years where she had to live by exorcising evil spirits tormenting innocent humans, while constantly being harassed by the Himejima Clan who are trying to kill her so they could hide her existence from the Shinto Gods, due to the sole reason that she was born from one of theirs and a supernatural creature, especially one from another mythology.
And of course, the eventual day where she gets cornered by Suoh Himejima, and was about to be killed.
Only to be saved by the wandering Rias by then, who took her to be her first peerage member and queen.
And then— the future, where she had grown up to become healthy and safe, and even becoming one of Rias's most trusted people.
And as I narrated the story, I didn't forget to take peeks at their reactions from time to time, and saw how their faces changed from anger, sadness, helplessness, and then to understanding and lastly, joy.
Although, for the old man's case, his joy was only short lived, as I also mentioned how Akeno had resented him growing up.
And this being the reason why Akeno had decided to never use the ability she had inherited from the old man.
Which is, "Holy Thunder"
The place turned quiet, as Aunt Shuri and the Old Man contemplated on the things I had said.
Seconds, turned to minutes, and only after 15 minutes had passed, all of which was spent with them clearly thinking about my words, before they finally looked at each other, seemingly coming to a decision and nodded.
"We—"
"We're back!!"
Just as the two couples voiced their answer, the cheerful sound of Akeno's voice froze them mid sentence, as she, along with Minerva and the twins entered the door.
"Huh? Are you guys discussing something important?" Akeno asks curiously.
"Good timing! Dear why don't you come here, we need to discuss something that will determine your future." Aunt Shuri beckoned her daughter, and Akeno went towards us with visible confusion.
I gazed at Akeno for a moment before I blinked and jumped off the chair I was sitting on.
"Alright, you three can discuss what your decision will be in private."
"The four of us will go back to my house, since we have overstayed already."
"You can think about it till next week, since I will need to go back to the underworld to work on my new research." I suddenly paused as I remembered something, and turned my head towards the old man.
"Ah right! Old man, if it's possible, can you give me what you promised ASAP? The new project I'm thinking of will be easier if I have that."
The project I was thinking of, was of course, a perfect sacred gear extractor. And honestly, I also need to collect yet another set of data.
And I will be able to get it, from none other than the madman, Valper Galilei.
His eventual research on extracting the light attribute from other people and transferring it to another is a pretty close subject to a Sacred gear extractor.
But quite frankly, the most important thing I need to have is an item or ability that can safely tamper with souls.
And If I get a character with said abilities, then even better! Since, I can just absorb the cards if they aren't to be trusted… and that will make me obtain not just their abilities, but even their experience in using them.
So— List of goals:
Top priority: Obtain ability/Item, or a character card that is able to manipulate and tamper with souls safely to both the target and user.
Secondary ones: Obtain necessary data on research for Sacred Gears, Holy Sword Project, and the data that Shirone and Kuroka's parents are working on.
That's my current short term goal.
And, if someone who knows all these might have noticed, I didn't straight up ask for their data on sacred gear extraction.
Because— It will be pretty boring to be handed the goal just like that… Half of the fun that can be found in research is self discovery, after all.

Gatto Notes: But seriously though, Did 131 people actually become paid members? Or is it nothing but a Mirrage, and Patreon just has an error.
Hopefully it's the former..(qwq would really help with college funds.

Anyways... Fake or not, I'll be posting an extra chapter this Sunday if it reaches the goal since I almost had a heart attack.
