My day started off insanely.
First, I was sitting in my room for hours playing Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, desperately trying to reach global rank 1 before the season ended, until I died and met a being that I imagine to be a goddess, who granted me some wishes, and now I'm here, reincarnated in the Naruto universe.
"Riku... Senju Riku? Would you please answer the roll call? It seems this boy is lost in his own world."
That's what I heard from what appeared to be the Ninja Academy teacher. It took me a while to process all the information about where I was, but like a whirlwind of thoughts, I received memories of a past I had never lived — yet they now belonged to me
I saw "my" parents, Senju Akemi and Senju Daisuke, two ninja tool merchants.
I saw my entire childhood and important moments, such as when I trained with Itachi himself before he graduated early from the ninja academy.
But now I'm here, embarrassed for not answering the roll call.
"Present, sensei..." I raised my hand and answered, a bit embarrassed by the people staring at me in confusion.
"Well, well, back to reality? Never mind, let's continue with the roll call..." the sensei said.
But who exactly was he?
Before any other information about my life in this world could come to mind, a semi-transparent orange screen appeared in front of me.

'Basic jutsu? Yeah... That should be easy, right?' I thought, feeling sweat trickle down my forehead.
It was strange. I knew I had trained these techniques in the past, but my memory seemed split between what I remembered from my old life and what I was supposed to know now.
As I thought about it, another screen appeared on the system.

'Perfect... an opportunity to earn some experience,' I thought to myself as the other students began to introduce themselves.
"Come on, Yoshino, you're up first!"
The sensei pointed to a black-haired girl who immediately made a hand seal and transformed into the figure of Daikoku himself. It wasn't flawless, but it was clear she had good control.
One by one, the students showed their skills, and I noticed that many of them had clearly practiced a lot.
The sensei, on the other hand, seemed to analyze every detail with attentive eyes, writing something down in his notebook.
When it was my turn, I felt all eyes in the room on me.
"Riku Senju, let's see what you can do," said Daikoku, his tone curious.
I took a deep breath. "Okay, time to test my skills."
I closed my eyes, focusing on my memories, trying to access the knowledge of my current "self."

"Transformation Jutsu!" I made the hand seal and felt the chakra flow. My figure changed, and when I opened my eyes, I saw my transformation as Sensei Daikoku reflected in the surprised expressions of my classmates.
"Very good, Senju. It seems that even when you're in a world of your own, you still pay attention in class," said the sensei with a slight nod.
"Now, show us Clone and Substitution," he continued, wearing a slightly challenging expression.
I knew the next test would be more complicated, as Clone Jutsu always demanded more precise chakra control.

I made the seals and released my chakra. A clone appeared beside me. It was nearly perfect, though slightly translucent.

This was a jutsu I was used to using in NUNS 4 matches, but the feeling of doing it in the real world was completely different.

"Substitution Jutsu!" I shouted, focusing on a nearby chair. In the blink of an eye, I felt my body move, and when I realized it, I was in the chair's place, while it occupied my original spot.
"Well done, Senju," said the sensei, this time with a slight smile of approval. "Now let's move on. Katsuo, your turn!" He continued with his lesson.
Meanwhile, the system window appeared once again, but this time with the results of my basic jutsu mission.
