Chapter 70 - Leverage and Bone

But the formation wasn't just a cage.

A sparkle of white light shot out from the sphere, slamming straight into the chest of the black-haired boy who was already furiously punching the glowing walls. He cracked like shattering glass, then respawned inside the formation as it happened all over again.

Now it was nothing but a test of attrition—who would last longer. The boy's cosmic reserves, or the glowing formation that dimmed every time it killed him. Watching the paleness slowly creep into his face, it was clear the boy was starting to lose.

The rest of his companions were already on the other side of the glowing walls, kicking and punching it with blows that sent air blasting outward and shook the ground beneath them. The moment they realized it was useless, their leader was barely hanging on by a breath.
