Chapter 55 - 55

In the warehouse where Frank was, the battle was nearing its end.

Poor Jigsaw, who had feigned loyalty to Kingpin, wasn't carrying any weapons.

Frank, on the other hand, although he had been immobilized by Huang Wen's pressure point technique and then imprisoned by Kingpin, still had all his weapons on him, as Kingpin had no intention of disarming him.

No one could guarantee that the Punisher wouldn't have some hidden tricks on his weapons, and Kingpin had always intended for Frank to kill Jigsaw anyway.

As for Frank, Kingpin didn't believe he could escape from there.

After all, no matter how formidable Frank was, he was only one person, and his ammunition was limited, especially after expending so much on Jigsaw.

With a "bang!" of a gunshot, Jigsaw's head, out of bullets, exploded, and he ultimately died by Frank's gun.

Frank had finally exacted his revenge.

"Phew!" Even in his desperate situation, Frank couldn't help but feel a surge of satisfaction.

Everything concerning Jigsaw was finally over.

"Clap, clap, clap!"

A round of applause came from above Frank, followed by Kingpin's faint chuckle: "Excellent, truly worthy of the renowned Punisher.

I'm even curious how you managed to conceal so many weapons in your clothes."

"So, are you going to open the door and let me out?" Frank quickly regained his composure, gently touching his belt.

The subtle vibrations from his belt told Frank that his backup was almost there.

"I'm sorry, I deceived you," Kingpin's voice carried a hint of mockery.

"Now that Jigsaw is dead, it's your turn!"

"If you won't open the door, then I'll just have to blast my way out." Frank's face showed no disappointment or anger.

He had long known this outcome, but suddenly, a confident smile appeared on his face.

"Blast your way out?" The sarcasm in Kingpin's voice remained undiminished.

"The doors of this base are made of titanium alloy.

I don't believe you still have grenades with that much TNT equivalent on you..."

With a "boom!" just as Kingpin finished speaking, the warehouse door was instantly blown to smithereens, causing Kingpin's expression to suddenly change.

"What's going on? Where are the people outside the base?" Kingpin turned to James Wesley and asked in a deep voice.

"The external surveillance shows no anomalies.

Someone has infiltrated our monitoring system, but we haven't had any reaction!" James Wesley immediately checked the surveillance, his heart trembling involuntarily.

"How did he transmit the information? He clearly wasn't awake before, and when he woke up, he was already inside the base, where all signals are blocked..." Kingpin frowned, looking at Frank's triumphant smile in the base, feeling even more annoyed.

"It seems their technological capabilities are far superior to ours," Fisk, who was standing nearby, shook his head and looked at Kingpin.

"Father, in the future, technological strength will become increasingly important.

We cannot neglect the cultivation of talent in this area!"

"You're right." Kingpin's expression quickly returned to normal.

He looked at Fisk seriously, "I hope you can learn a lesson from this incident of mine: never let down your guard, even when you are absolutely confident!"

"Father, I will remember that." Fisk nodded, looking at Frank smiling at the monitor in the surveillance feed.

"However, this guy might become a problem in the future..."

"Don't worry, I'll send people to deal with him!" Kingpin watched Frank, who showed no intention of further damaging the surveillance, and the fifty fully armed agents, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"Government people? FBI? Or the military?"

"Most likely the military.

After all, Frank was also a military man before, and even if he's retired, there should still be intricate connections with the military..."

"However, they didn't use regular troops; it should be private soldiers under some individuals, so there's no need to worry that after taking down Frank, military personnel will directly intervene.

If that were the case, we might need to use some connections..."

"Kingpin, how about it? If you don't make a move soon, I'm going to leave, you know?" Frank raised the gun in his hand and smiled at the surveillance camera.

"Don't worry, I'll use the same gun that killed Jigsaw to deal with you!"

"Heh heh, I hope you truly have the strength to stand before me," Kingpin sneered.

"However, don't think that just because you were lucky this time, you'll always be so lucky!"

"And don't think that just because you hide deep enough, I won't be able to find you." Frank also sneered, then left the base with the fifty agents.

"Instructor, our tech department has located Kingpin.

If you want revenge, we can go there anytime!" The agents, clearly not fully committed, said to Frank with eagerness.

"I already owe that bastard a favor for your help this time.

The rest is my own business." Frank shook his head.

"Besides, by the time we get there, Kingpin will have long vanished without a trace..."

"I kindly sent people to help you, and this is how you talk behind my back? You little bitch who got caught by a gang leader!" Nick Fury emerged from the darkness, mocking Frank.

"Let me guess, have you been in a soft place for too long, causing your legs to go weak and your strength to decline, which is why that big fat guy caught you?"

"You actually came in person?" A hint of surprise flashed in Frank's eyes.

"Are you that idle? Just to come here specifically to mock me?"

"Of course, I came to tell you the price of saving you!" Nick Fury sneered and shook his head.

"If it weren't for your old bones still being able to yield a few pounds of oil, do you think I would have gone to all this trouble to save you?"

"Don't touch Kingpin for now.

Someone who intends to unite the underworld is easier to control than those rats in the gutters!"

"First, train twenty batches of agents like these for me.

Their strength must be stronger than theirs, not weaker!"

"Twenty batches? You might as well kill me.

Ten batches at most!" Frank glared at Nick Fury angrily.

"Alright! Ten batches it is!" Nick Fury immediately smiled.

His goal was achieved, even better than expected.

"Hmph!" Frank snorted.

"Aren't you afraid of raising a tiger that will turn on you? Kingpin is not someone to be trifled with!"

"It's precisely because he's not to be trifled with that we allow him to do all this!

What's so scary about a tiger that wants to come out into the open?" Nick Fury shook his head confidently.

"By then, the fruits of his victory can be completely controlled by the government, can't they?"

"I hope you don't mess it up!" Frank scoffed.

"However, after training ten batches of people, I will still go after him.

He wants to unite the underworld; we'll see if he can survive!"

"Perhaps by then, we can already harvest the fruits?" Nick Fury said meaningfully.

"Let's go, my instructor."
