Chapter 52 - 52

What a wonderful performance! I was just enjoying myself, why did it stop?"

Seeing that the show was over, Ron felt a bit bored and said casually.

"I'm very confused. Since you knew my intentions all along, why didn't you just use your psychic abilities to knock me out, like you did with the others before? You should know that even though I'm carrying a device that can block other people's psychic abilities, with your powerful mental strength, that shouldn't be a problem for you!"

The blonde beauty frowned slightly. As she spoke, she suddenly pulled off her blonde wig and tossed it aside, revealing short red hair, which added another layer of allure to her already incredibly sexy demeanor.

Ron shrugged and continued, "It's nothing, really. I just felt that for a sexy woman like you, I shouldn't just knock you out directly."

"Do you think I'll believe you? We've sent several extremely sexy female agents to try and approach you before, but they all fainted suddenly before they even got within fifty meters of you. I don't think I'm that much more beautiful than them."

Natasha didn't believe Ron at all. She still watched him cautiously, her hand constantly near her pocket. As soon as she sensed something was wrong, she would pull out her prepared plan and make a run for it.

Yes, the orders she received were very strict: she absolutely could not make a move against this seemingly unremarkable guy, and even her words needed to be carefully controlled, without a hint of provocation.

If an accident did occur and the target directly attacked her, she could only choose to flee, rather than subdue the target with force as she usually would.

Natasha didn't actually believe that the target in front of her could be that formidable, but since it was the bald guy's order, she had no choice but to carry it out diligently.

"You're wrong about that, Ms. Natasha Romanoff. You're not like the other agents; you're much more powerful than them. And, I actually prefer to call you by your codename—Black Widow!" Ron took two steps closer to Black Widow and smiled.

Black Widow is one of the three Level 10 agents in Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. Her strength and combat skills have reached the pinnacle of human ability, making her one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most outstanding agents, if not the most outstanding.

Although he had no intention of using his mental abilities to sense Black Widow, Ron could still see her apprehension towards him and wanted to test whether this true agent of the Avengers would actually make a move against him.

Ron actually knew that S.H.I.E.L.D. had discovered him days ago, but he had no intention of contacting S.H.I.E.L.D. and simply knocked out everyone who had ill intentions towards him.

Now, Ron was just about to use his psychic abilities less, and then he realized that the person who came was Black Widow from the Avengers, so he naturally wouldn't knock her out directly as he had before.

Looking at Black Widow, whose expression had turned grim after her identity was revealed, Ron decided not to procrastinate any longer and got straight to the point.

"Ms. Black Widow, let's not talk about why I didn't make a move against you for now. What I want to know is, you came to see me, and it shouldn't be to chat, right? S.H.I.E.L.D. shouldn't be that kind to me..."

Upon hearing Ron's words, Black Widow was even more shocked. S.H.I.E.L.D. had only changed its signboard this morning; how did this guy know?

Black Widow finally understood what the "Level 10 danger" written in the file meant. Indeed, compared to those with strong physical abilities, individuals with powerful psychic abilities were the most dangerous!

This meant that she would have no secrets in front of this guy; nothing could be hidden.

"Don't be so serious, Ms. Black Widow. I'm still waiting for you to speak." Seeing Black Widow remain silent, Ron waved his hand, indicating he had no ill intentions.

Then, Ron remembered his Guardians Alliance plan and said, "After you've finished speaking, I also have something to tell you, so hurry up."

Knowing Ron's power, Black Widow also understood why the director specifically assigned her to this mission.

Due to her early experiences, she had always kept her thoughts well under control, so even if the target had extremely strong psychic abilities, they couldn't easily read her mind.

Black Widow controlled her thoughts, focusing only on one thing in her mind, and then she spoke.

"Mr. Ron Brunstad, my purpose is actually very simple. I'm just here to invite you to S.H.I.E.L.D. to wake up the agents who fainted earlier. There are no other demands."

"Is that really all?" Ron feigned a suspicious look and said.

"Of course." Black Widow puffed out her V-shaped chest, her face serious. If it were an ordinary person, they wouldn't be able to tell she was faking it.

Ron, of course, was no ordinary person, so he nodded and replied, "Alright, I believe you. I will definitely go to S.H.I.E.L.D. later to help you wake those people up. If you have nothing else to say, then I'll talk about my business!"

"Uh..." Black Widow's pretty face froze, then she nodded, "Nothing else."

"Mm." Ron responded, and then a badge engraved with a pair of snow-white wings suddenly appeared in his hand, which had been in his pocket.

Ron then took out the badge, held it in his hand, and looked at Black Widow, a 'sincere' smile appearing on his face.

"Lucky Black Widow, I have an organization here, just established, would you like to join?"

"Huh?" Black Widow was completely stunned. Why was this Ron inviting her to join some organization? She wasn't here to join any organization, hey, what was going on here?

Black Widow was frustrated. She finally couldn't control her thoughts and remembered the most important sentence Nick Fury had told her.

'No matter what, you must find out the details of the man in black, and try to see if he can join the Avengers!'

Black Widow thought of this sentence, and then looked at the winged badge in Ron's hand, feeling that her trip was probably going to be difficult!

"Well, what do you say, agree or not? Let me tell you, my organization isn't easy to join. If you miss this opportunity, you'll never have another chance to join."

Seeing Black Widow's frustrated expression, Ron felt a sudden sense of satisfaction. He pressed on, continuing to speak.

"This..." Black Widow was a bit embarrassed. Although joining Ron's organization would also achieve her goal, she was already considered a pre-determined member of Nick Fury's Avengers initiative.

But Black Widow didn't hesitate for long. She still decided to agree first, after all, compared to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s mission, most other demands were acceptable to her.

"I..."

"Alright, it's settled then!"

Just as Black Widow opened her mouth, Ron immediately sealed the outcome, not giving her a chance to speak.

However, Ron certainly didn't genuinely want Black Widow to join his Guardians Alliance. As a Level 10 S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, how could she be so easily swayed by him?

Ron's actions were simply for fun, for amusement, that's all!

Damn it, congratulations RNG!!!!!!
