Chapter 21 - Lord Caspian

After Sinclair mindlinked him with information of the guest arriving at dawn, Alfa sent out orders to the guards on duty at the border to let any vampire carriage enter.

Yes, Caspian was the only one who can help him, since he can smell blood, and not only that, he can see blood flowing through a person or animals veins, which meant he can see anything with a heartbeat.

His wolves hadn't found anything useful yet, and as for Zyban, he'll be dealt with later.

Arya's team were worried sick about her, but somehow, he felt that they were afraid of them more.

They hadn't left the house in days, and hadn't had breakfast with them, even when Sinclair insisted, they'd just request him to get their food delivered.

As promised, a carriage was seen at the border of the Moonsglow pack. The border security let them pass after seeing the insignia, a flying bat, and mindlinked their Alfa.

The guests got inside, just as the first rays of the sun hit the mountain. Alfa had already ordered for the windows to be covered with heavy, thick curtains, so that no sunlight will enter.

The guard at the door announced the arrival of the visitors, "Lord Caspian has arrived with his lady, Lady Jazibell, his second in command and two security guards."

Alfa went forward and greeted the tall, pale man, who didn't look a year older then twenty, yet lived to see Alfa's great grandfather.

He had striking red eyes, that told his age, and he wore a pants and tee shirt, like normal people. Beside him stood a young woman, pale yet radiant, wearing a long sleeve black lace dress, that swept the floor when she walked.

Her eyes were also red, and she had amazingly long black hair.

The two security guards stood by the door, while the second in command, Arman stood a few feet behind them.

"Your beta, Sinclair, was it?" He looked towards Sinclair, who nodded, "told me you requested an urgent meeting!" Caspian said, looking back at Flowerew.

"Yes, Lord Caspian, and I cannot thank you enough for making it in such short notice. Why don't we talk at the breakfast table... if you're comfortable," Alfa Flowerew said.

"I'm comfortable with anything, as long as we get something to eat," Caspian said, in his thick Romanian accent.

At the table, food was served at one side while four young slaves, that were his fathers prisoners, were sat on the other side.

Lord Caspian's eyes gleamed with hunger. He and his lady sat, and waited until Alfa was served his food, before biting in; literally.

"Sweet. Now that our breakfast was served, I need to know why I'm here!" Caspian said, wiping the blood off his lips, with a napkin.

"I need your vampire senses to locate a woman I know is my mate," Flowerew began. "She's missing..."

He told the vampire lord everything from the beginning, and he listened in amusement.

"So you're saying your wolves cannot locate her?" Caspian asked.

"We have tried everywhere. The other woman, Patricia, I believe has some sort of cloaking powers. She took Arya from right under my guards noses, and they didn't see it; they saw just smoke," Alfa said, his blue eyes looked pained.

"I understand what you're going through, Alfa Flowerew. If my Jazibell goes out of sight for a minute, I die inside," lord Caspian smiled, and kissed his beloved.

"So you will help me?" Alfa's eyes lite up in hope.

"I do have a condition though!"

"What condition?" The hope in Alfa's eyes vanished.

"You will escort us around your territory yourself. If you accept that, we can start tonight." Caspian stared at Alfa, his red eyes glinting.

Alfa sighed in relief. "I would love to."

'Alfa, Yalandro is here. He wants to speak with you'. The guard at the door mindlinked him.

'Let him sit in the office. I'll be there shortly.' Alfa mindlinked back. "Follow me lord Caspian, I'll show you to your rooms," he said to the vampire. He led them to a huge room, with dark curtains and a dim light. "If you need anything, call me... and I've prepared a separate room, beside this one for you men..."

"That would be great," he said to

Alfa, and after he left Caspian turned to Arman, "take some rest, and tell Jake and Max to rest too."

"Yes my lord..." the pink eyed vampire replied, bowing down.

In the office Yalandro waited patiently for his Alfa. As soon as Alfa Flowerew entered, the short man gave him an envelope.

Pouring out its contents, Flowerew found a magazine, two photo frames, and Arya's original birth certificate.

Alfa smiled. "Good job." He paid Yalandro for his services and he left.

At night, the vampires went for a walk, with Alfa. Within a second Caspian pointed to the cabin. "I see four humans inside, but outside, I see seven, five men, two women... that's strange... one is a witch wolf hybrid and the others is werewolf, but her necklace is hiding it."

"My men..." "your men cannot see or feel their presence. They are moving towards there!" Caspian pointed in the direction.

"The prison... Rebecca! She's trying to free them... that means she'll go to the house next, to free her team."

He mindlinked the prison guards to get to the house, so that they get in. He then ordered his men to remove the team and put them in his other house, and went into the house himself, switching off all lights, and waited.

Caspian pointed out where they took Rebecca, and it wasn't hard for her to be caught, as she was sleeping.

Then he heard "Patricia." and heard his men chasing her. The opening of the door came next, and a soft voice calling, "Guy's? Guys, we have to get out, where are you?"

He switched the lights on, and saw Arya freeze. She was not expecting this. "Hello, mate," Flowerew said, as Patricia was dragged into the house, and Zyban walked in with Rebecca.

"Your plan was amazing, I must say, you will make a great luna."

"Where's my team?" Arya asked.

"Under my watch. Now, you will do what I say..."

"And what makes you think..."

Alfa looked at Sinclair, and he snapped Patricia's neck, making Arya scream.

"You have tested my patience long enough, now, where was I.... yes, we will walk out of here together, and I will remove your necklace with my own hands. I want to see you in wolf form," Flowerew said, and he held Arya and pulled her out, without even giving her a chance to mourn the loss of her friend.

She had thought of saving her somehow, but...

Seeing her resistance to going, he leaned toward her ear and whispered, "Rebecca will be next." Arya had no choice but to follow willingly.
