Chapter 347 - An Unforeseen Plea for Help, and an Elementary School Graduation

In the chat group, Madoka was one of the earliest members.

Because she lived in a peaceful world, she had no need to become stronger, nor could she offer any particularly valuable goods.

So, while the members from other worlds had all improved to some extent, their power levels having inflated somewhat, she was the only one who had consistently held the title of the Weakest Trio, the Weakest Duo, and now, the Weakest One.

All this time, she had been a spectator, munching on melon seeds while watching events unfold, participating in the other members' lives as if watching an anime.

Now, for the first time ever, she was asking the group members for help.

And the nature of her request was different from anyone else's.

Madoka: "Um... everyone, there's something I'd like to ask for your help with."

As soon as Madoka's message appeared, the chat group instantly came alive.

The group members were all quite fond of this little sister. Even someone with a personality as proud as Jibril had no issues with Madoka, and even showed her a good deal of goodwill.

Granted, this goodwill stemmed from a fondness for teasing cute things, bordering on treating her like a beloved pet. But that wasn't important. What was important was that almost no one would refuse Madoka's request for help.

Among them, Rin Tohsaka, who had once been part of the Weakest Trio, became incredibly excited.

Rin Tohsaka: "What is it? What is it? Madoka, are you in trouble too?"

Rin Tohsaka: "Let me guess: is it a world-ending crisis? Or a shadowy organization trying to silence you? Or maybe a beautiful girl fell from the sky to whisk you away to an unprecedented hidden world?"

In Madoka's world, the city was quite safe, and major incidents rarely occurred. Therefore, Rin didn't think Madoka would be facing any ordinary trouble.

Based on the past experiences of other group members and what she knew from novels and anime, it was obvious: Madoka was finally making contact with the real world!

Hearing Rin's excited tone, Madoka could guess what she was thinking and shook her head, speechless.

Madoka: "How could something like that exist! Or rather, I hope the end of the world doesn't exist... Sister Rin, have you been watching too much anime?"

Hearing this, Rin was a little disappointed.

Rin Tohsaka: "Eh? It's not even at that level? What about a hidden world filled with dark powers? The least you could have is an enemy on the level of Kanae's Kibutsuji Muzan, right?"

Erica's world faced the threat of Demon Kings and gods, Jibril's world was literally facing an apocalypse, and Shiroyasha's was a multiversal stage for Asuras, gods, and Buddhas. Even Kisaragi Tendo was up against Gastrea that could destroy the world.

By comparison, Kanae Kocho's former enemy, the demon king Kibutsuji Muzan, was already the weakest of the bunch. The trouble Madoka was in couldn't possibly be weaker than that, could it?

Kanae Kocho: "..."

Seeing Rin's message, Kanae couldn't help but sigh.

Kanae Kocho: "Although compared to everyone else, and even to my current self, Kibutsuji Muzan is indeed very weak."

Kanae Kocho: "But for the level of my world, he was truly a formidable enemy. Even in the modern society of Madoka's world, he'd be very troublesome if he was good at hiding... So, Rin, could you please try to wish for something a little more positive?"

As a Divine Miko, Kanae's current strength was extraordinary. Even without the boons granted by Su Mo, if Kibutsuji Muzan were to be resurrected, she would undoubtedly kill him in an instant.

The same was true for her two younger sisters, Shinobu and Kanao.

After all, they had received Su Mo's grace, and that alone was enough to raise their physical constitution, magical power, and even their soul's potential to the maximum.

Even with their own strength alone, they were now strong enough to stand at the pinnacle of their world.

But even so, she had not forgotten the harm Muzan had inflicted upon the world. She knew Rin meant no harm, but such an expectation was a bit too much of a dark joke.

Rin Tohsaka: "S-Sorry!"

Hearing Kanae's words, the twin-tailed girl stuck out her tongue.

She hadn't really thought it through. She had just seen so many dramatic plots that she subconsciously felt that anything less than a world-ending crisis was nothing.

Rin Tohsaka: "So, what kind of trouble is Madoka in?"

Kanae Kocho: "I'm curious as well."

Urged by the two of them, Madoka didn't keep them in suspense and answered honestly.

Madoka: "I'd like to borrow some money from you all."

As soon as she said this, the entire chat group fell silent.

Even when they had witnessed Su Mo quell the apocalypse and defeat the Son of God, a supreme authority, they had never been caught as off-guard as they were now.

After all, no matter what powerful enemy Su Mo defeated, it was within the realm of expectation. But borrowing money in a chat group that connected to infinite dimensions? That was something they truly could not have predicted.

Shiroyasha: "B-Borrowing money..."

Even Shiroyasha was at a loss for words.

Kanae rested her hand on her forehead, having figured something out.

Kanae Kocho: "No wonder Madoka only asked us 'sisters' for help, and not Lord Su Mo."

Usually, whether by habit or due to their long-standing psychological reliance, whenever they encountered a crisis, they would instinctively turn to the strongest and most reliable person: Su Mo.

Madoka should have been the same, but she had intentionally excluded the ever-gentle Lord Su Mo from her request.

Hearing the content of her plea, Kanae finally understood why. Such a small matter was indeed not worth bothering Su Mo over.

Rin Tohsaka: "I really wanted to roast you, but thinking about it, Madoka is still in elementary school, right? It's normal for an elementary schooler to want some allowance."

Rin Tohsaka: "Although it's weird to borrow money in a group like this, it doesn't seem to be a problem for an elementary schooler."

The request was too normal—so normal that it seemed impossible to make fun of.

Hearing her, Erica chimed in with a retort.

Erica Blandelli: "Rin, what are you doing acting all mature and big-sisterly? Aren't you an elementary school student too?"

Erica Blandelli: "Speaking of which, Rin, are you short on allowance too? If you're willing to call me 'Big Sister,' I could lend you some gold!"

Credit-based currency naturally wouldn't be transferable between different worlds, but the value of precious metals was likely universal.

That's why they only found Madoka's request strange, not impossible. In truth, both Erica and Kanae were quite wealthy.

Rin Tohsaka: "Big Sister my foot! This young lady isn't short on money either, okay!"

The twin-tailed girl would naturally not fall for such a low-level temptation. She said proudly, "I am now the designated future head of the Tohsaka family! Father has not only given me full access to the family's assets, but he has also chosen to personally manage them to support my magecraft studies... While I can't compare to a prestigious family like yours, Erica, I'm still considered a local tycoon. Plus, I have some strange extra income. You can't tempt me with money!"

The so-called "strange extra income" actually came from the other side of the planet, from offerings made to the goddess Ishtar. Human faith in Ishtar had never died out, with some aspects being absorbed into Christianity as Easter, and others integrated into ancient local festivals.

Rin, who held Ishtar's Saint Graph, often received peculiar tributes from these sources. Some were worthless, while others were priceless.

Furthermore, beyond being the designated future head, Rin was, in fact, the current head of the Tohsaka family.

After learning of his daughter's power, witnessing the powerful being she followed, and knowing she had obtained a goddess's Saint Graph, Tokiomi Tohsaka was completely at ease and never meddled in her affairs again.

His greatest lifelong wish was to restore the Tohsaka family, which he had single-handedly supported through its decline. But now, his greatest wish—and indeed, the wish of the Tohsaka lineage—had been fulfilled.

His daughter had not only reached the Root through a goddess's Saint Graph but had also met and followed Su Mo, an existence far greater than the Root.

Whether as a father, as the head of the Tohsaka family, or as a magus, he had to admit that his daughter had surpassed all his goals beyond any measure.

After confirming this, his mindset underwent a great change. Like his wife Aoi, he became incredibly peaceful.

Not only did he stop interfering with Rin's education, but he also took a step back, slowing his own magical training to focus his energy on managing their assets.

After all, with his talent, even a lifetime of dedication to the magical arts couldn't compare to his daughter's progress.

Instead of a pointless pursuit, it was better to earn more money and build a solid foundation for her.

After all, Rin's favorite Jewel Magecraft was expensive enough to make even him wince, despite the family fortune he had accumulated.

Now, in the Tohsaka household, Rin was the true head, and Tokiomi was more like the butler who managed the estate.

So, even though she was also an elementary school student, she was quite a rich little girl herself.

After showing off, Rin immediately said, "Madoka, just tell Big Sister Rin how much allowance you need. Whether it's gems or gold, I have it!"

Whether poor or rich, Rin was not a stingy person.

Erica Blandelli: "I have them too. Madoka, don't be shy with us!"

Kanae Kocho: "+1. With our relationship, you don't even have to say 'borrow'."

Madoka: "Thank you all for your help!"

Madoka was very grateful for everyone's enthusiasm.

Madoka: "However, regarding what Sister Rin said, I have a few things to correct."

Rin Tohsaka: "What things?" The twin-tailed girl was curious.

Madoka: "First, I'm not an elementary school student anymore. I just started middle school this year."

Madoka: "Second, I'm not borrowing pocket money. I need to borrow a large sum... though it might not be that much for you all."

Madoka: "Third, I didn't notice before, but speaking of which, shouldn't 'Big Sister Rin' be calling me 'Big Sister' now?"

Madoka: "Or should I say, can I call you 'Little Sister Rin' now?!"

Rin Tohsaka: "???"

The twin-tailed girl shot up from her bed, her eyes wide.
