Chapter 561 - Wielding Mythological History as a Sword

"Is this... a Divinity Seal?"

Alpha Goddess suddenly thought of something.

The Sword of Bahram was the golden sword symbolizing wisdom. Although it was hailed as the strongest god-slaying armament, its actual function was to seal divinity, not to erase gods.

Now, Su Mo was unleashing the sword's most original and powerful function.

He wasn't just sealing a single aspect of divinity, but sealing the entirety of any god he touched into the golden Sword of Wisdom, which was equivalent to sealing the god itself inside the sword.

This was something even the sword's original owner could not have accomplished, but Su Mo had already surpassed him.

"Not only that, it's also combined with the power of the Another Cosmology, Void Star · Tai Sui!"

Omega Goddess, too, finally saw the key.

Void Star · Tai Sui was an Another Cosmology capable of unconditionally sealing any of the Strongest Species aside from pure-blooded dragons. Its power was similar to the Sword of Bahram, and in some ways, even greater.

It was by combining these two that Su Mo had given the Sword of Wisdom a compulsory power that could unconditionally seal deities, a power that not even two-digit level primordial gods and buddhas could resist.

Void Star · Tai Sui was responsible for sealing and absorbing, while the Sword of Bahram was responsible for stabilizing and containing.

With the two complementing each other, even the Billions of Gods had absolutely no power to resist.

"But why would he..."

Confirming that Su Mo hadn't gone mad and decided to simply kill all the gods with brute force and completely erase mythological history, the Two Goddesses breathed a small sigh of relief.

But they still didn't understand why Su Mo would make a move against the pantheons at this moment.

They had clearly chosen to submit. What was the point of backstabbing them now?

If he was unwilling to accept the gods' allegiance, wouldn't it have been better to not show up at all and simply watch the Dystopia Demon Lord slaughter them?

"A Divinity Seal?"

Hearing the Two Goddesses' confusion, the World-Honored One slowly shook his head.

"No... this power is definitely not something so shallow."

Staring at the sword's light, as complex and magnificent as a painted tapestry, he grasped the full picture through intuition alone, though he possessed the eyes of a mortal—a truth that even the wisdom of the Almighty Domain could not immediately ascertain.

If it were merely sealing individual divinities, what appeared would be simple points of light, not a scroll-like tapestry as it was now.

But now, whether it was Indra, Zeus, or the other gods, the starlight they symbolized was rotating and merging in its own unique way, like an ancient scroll unfurling a tapestry of the stars returning to their rightful places.

This method of arrangement was definitely not a simple Divinity Seal.

On the contrary, as the head of the Buddhist pantheon and the one who had personally pioneered the Buddhist cosmology, the World-Honored One saw details within the Buddhist cosmology's portion that could only be understood from the perspective of a myth's creator.

In other words—

"What's sealed within this sword is not divinity... it's myth!"

As if by divine inspiration, the World-Honored One perceived the truth.

"Myth?"

The Two Goddesses were momentarily stunned.

If a pantheon was a composite group made of gods possessing divinity, then a myth was an even more complex concept that included the pantheon and its cosmology.

One could even say that both gods and cosmologies were merely projections of a particular aspect of a myth.

Compared to divinity, myth was the true vessel that carried the concepts of gods, and even concepts beyond them.

But—

"How can you seal something like that?"

The Two Goddesses wore expressions of disbelief.

Even the World-Honored One, as the head of his pantheon, could only master the full power of Buddhist myth at most; he could not master the myth itself. How did Su Mo do it?

Even if the Sword of Bahram was the Sword of Wisdom, and it wasn't impossible to take the method of sealing divinity through words a step further to seal a myth, a breakthrough of this level wasn't something that could be achieved just by speaking, or by relying on a Cosmic Truth.

And just as they thought they had guessed the nature of Su Mo's power and were reeling in shock at the breakthrough he had made...

"Myth?"

Su Mo's voice suddenly sounded from their side. Under the trembling gazes of the Two Goddesses, he shook his head and corrected them.

"To be precise, it's mythological history!"

Mythological history?

The Two Goddesses were stunned once more.

The mythological history of the Little Garden, from its completion to the present day, was an existence that could not be measured by any normal standard. Even if it could not achieve its wish of reigning supreme over human history, it was an entity that could truly be compared to it.

But before they could even begin to process this, as Su Mo's words fell, a golden light flashed. In an instant, heaven and earth were covered by the epic of mythological history reflected in the sword's light.

With no time to resist or flee, the Two Goddesses—symbols of the beginning and the end, the mythological archetypes for all creator and destroyer gods in the Little Garden, the two Cosmic Truths born as archetypes of their cosmologies just like the Cosmic Truths of good and evil—were so effortlessly drawn into the epic tapestry of mythological history.

Together with the primordial gods of good and evil, they became the cornerstone for the construction of numerous mythological cosmologies.

Falling along with the Two Goddesses was the crimson red dragon beneath Su Mo's feet.

Although the Dystopia Demon Lord denied the divinity of others, he himself possessed a unique divinity. Furthermore, his identity as Satan the Evil Dragon made him a member of Christianity to begin with.

Thus, before the Sword of Wisdom that had sealed the Billions of Gods, sealed countless divinities, myths, and cosmologies, the Dystopia Demon Lord was also absorbed without any resistance, constructing the myth as the enemy of God.

And so, by sealing and devouring the Spiritual Status of the Billions of Gods, Su Mo successfully used divinity resonance to fill in the gaps and master the pantheon cosmologies he had not yet fully grasped.

To master one art is to master them all.

After deducing the numerous pantheon cosmologies to their absolute extremes, Su Mo looked at the World-Honored One before him, whose divinity had been restored—the last fish that escaped the net.
