Chapter 562 - Codex of Human Wisdom, Planetary Chronicle

"Wielding mythological history as a sword... as expected of His Excellency Su Mo. This sheer presence... even I, as I am now, cannot fully comprehend it!"

After the Dystopia Demon Lord was absorbed by Su Mo, the Enlightened One recovered his divinity and returned to the Two-Digit Full-Authority Domain.

Facing Su Mo's longsword, the head of the Little Garden's billions of gods put his palms together and looked at Su Mo, filled with deep emotion.

Previously, the greatest wish of the gods of the Little Garden was to lead humanity across the apocalypse and transform the entire infinite multiverse into a paradise of Asuras, gods, and buddhas, just like the Little Garden.

But in comparison to Su Mo, their wish seemed as shallow and ignorant as a farmer wanting to dig the earth with a golden hoe.

To others, primordial gods and buddhas were already beings above all others, the god-kings were revered beyond measure, Cosmic Truths were akin to ultimate moves, and Another Cosmologies and Cosmologies were the ultimate weapons.

But before Su Mo, Cosmic Truths were readily available, and Another Cosmologies were nothing new.

What he truly manipulated was something that transcended divinity, the very crystallization of wisdom accumulated since the Little Garden's founding...

"There is no need for regret. Once you enter the mythological epic, you will feel the power of this epic along with the other gods." Su Mo laid his sword flat, resting it on the World-Honored One's shoulder.

"As one of the Codices of Human Wisdom, I trust you all will not disappoint me too greatly."

Faced with such a dangerous move from Su Mo, the World-Honored One showed no intention of defending himself. But that made sense.

Considering Su Mo's previously displayed opposition to mythological history, the Buddha was first surprised, then relieved.

At first, he had been worried that Su Mo was prejudiced against mythological history, but now he understood that Su Mo did, in fact, acknowledge its value.

It was just that, unlike the other gods, he did not view mythological history as a separate entity. Instead, he treated it as a part of human history, acknowledging it only as a subset of human history.

No wonder he did not approve of using mythological history to dominate human history.

Regardless of his stance, this attitude was indeed consistent.

And since Su Mo acknowledged the value of mythological history, the World-Honored One still felt that this was a good thing.

At least in Su Mo's eyes, mythological history was not completely useless trash, so there was no need to worry about it being used and then discarded.

"Your Excellency Su Mo, I have one last question— No, it's nothing."

After confirming Su Mo's final attitude, the World-Honored One had wanted to ask one last thing.

—Will we win?

He was willing to throw himself into Su Mo's plan, to become a part of the mythological epic and unleash a world-shaking strike against the Wind of Decadence.

However, by gathering the power of all mythological history, could they truly defeat the Wind of Decadence?

In terms of scale, both possessed the foundation of a multiversal domain, a nascent form of multiversal power.

And being merely on the same level was not enough to guarantee victory.

However, before the words could leave his mouth, the World-Honored One took them back.

Such a question was meaningless.

Whether Su Mo answered "Victory is guaranteed" or "We won't win," it would not change his current decision.

So—

"Then let me witness it—the future that you, Your Excellency Su Mo, will create!"

The World-Honored One once again put his palms together. After bowing his head respectfully, he stepped into the Sword of Bahram. His entry filled the final piece of the Sword of Mythological History.

Within the domain of the longsword, encircled by its golden edge, starlight suddenly erupted.

All sorts of divinities resonated at the same time, steeping themselves in the past memories of mythological history.

Images of a primordial age surged back against the river of time, and only then did many gods and buddhas realize the true meaning of their divinity.

Widely revered divinities originated from ancient and enduring myths;

Enduring myths came from the sedimentation of history and culture, and from the simple wishes of the people;

History, culture, and wishes came from the way fundamental philosophies interpreted the real world;

And fundamental philosophies, in turn, originated from the unique cognitive structures formed by prehistoric humans in specific geographical environments;

At this point, the billions of gods finally began to tremble, having broken through the "enigma of the womb" of godhood, at last understanding the process of their own birth.

Even the Two Goddesses could not help but tremble.

So that was it. The concepts of beginning and end originated from the concepts of cooperation within human groups.

The memories of the stars, rushing in like a flood, made all life aware of this fact.

It turned out that the faith in gods, that the so-called mythological history, was merely a collection of anecdotes born from humanity's efforts to pioneer their home planet.

Mythological history was the history of humanity pioneering its home planet;

And human history was but an insignificant part of the Planetary Chronicle of Earth;

The so-called mythological history was entirely the crystallization of wisdom that humanity had summarized from its struggles against nature while pioneering its home planet.

If that was the case, then they naturally had a responsibility to fight for human history against the star's inevitable apocalypse.

That was the very reason for their birth!

Under Su Mo's awakening, the wills of the gods quickly unified, boiling with the heat of magma.

The myths and cosmologies that had once conflicted with one another were now all unified as branches of human history.

Su Mo brandished the magnificent longsword. Its borders were defined by golden words of wisdom, its inner landscape a shimmering star chart.

Every wisp of starlight on the sword was equivalent to a god-made universe; every vortex, a unique cosmology; every inch of its edge, a Codex of Human Wisdom.

Wielding the Sword of Mythological History, Su Mo did not go back on his word.

After exchanging a glance with Canary, he left Arcadia directly and arrived in the Celestial Realm.

There, a pitch-black storm was devouring all things like a black hole.

And that was the final enemy Su Mo had to face.
