Chapter 593 - Goetia, the King of Men, and... Solomon is the Doctor?!

As a perfectly ordinary person who was roped into the mission of saving the world just by donating blood once, God only knew how much pressure Gudako was under. Even if she could handle the stress and had certainly matured through her many ordeals, that didn't mean she was brimming with confidence about humanity's future.

In reality, although they had cleared the Singularities down to the very last one, neither she nor Mash had much confidence in facing the true culprit behind the Incineration of Human Order. This was someone who could destroy the world; how could they possibly be an easy opponent?

However, after Su Mo spoke, Gudako felt an unprecedented sense of security. She immediately latched onto him. If Su Mo didn't mind, she'd be willing to lick not just his boots, but anywhere else, too! For him to help her with this... he wasn't just a patron anymore, he was her real dad!

"Senpai, you—"

Seeing Fujimaru Ritsuka's sudden manic episode, Mash covered her face in embarrassment, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything to stop her. After all, if what Su Mo said was true, then her senpai's reaction wasn't just not embarrassing, it might not even be enough.

Seeing the incredibly excited Fujimaru Ritsuka, Su Mo's expression remained, as always, perfectly calm.

"As I've said, Human History is a part of my power. While I don't object to someone forging a different future—diversity in Human History must be maintained—the path he seeks to walk is far too cowardly. It has no value."

Hearing Su Mo's words, a chill went down everyone's spine. Su Mo is only stopping the mastermind because he disapproves of his ideas. Does that mean if the enemy's path had value, Su Mo might not have sided with them?

For a moment, they felt a profound sense of both relief and curiosity.

This curiosity was voiced directly by Fujimaru Ritsuka.

"Lord Su Mo, you seem to know a lot about the mastermind. Do you know who he is?"

To this day, Fujimaru Ritsuka still had no idea who the true culprit was, let alone what their objective was. To think that Su Mo not only knew the details but had also already dismissed the villain's philosophy—Gudako naturally wanted to get some intel on the enemy first.

At her words, Mash's eyes also widened as she looked on expectantly.

Faced with their questions, Su Mo didn't keep them in suspense.

"The mastermind's name is—Goetia."

"It is the aggregate of the Seventy-Two Demon God Pillars, one of the Evils of Humanity just like Tiamat. He is the culprit behind the Incineration of Human Order, also known as the Beast of Pity."

Then, seeing Gudako's clueless expression, Su Mo added, "Of course, he has a more widely known name. You can think of him as the shadow, or the remains, of Solomon."

"Solomon?!"

Gudako's voice went up an octave, feeling like a student who had finally understood what the teacher was saying.

Although the Seventy-Two Demon God Pillars were a relatively well-known piece of mythology, for an ordinary person, the name Solomon was still far more familiar than a list of demons. After all, with the global spread of Christianity, names like Solomon and David were famous in most countries, with the exception of a certain major eastern region where atheism was prevalent.

Just as Fujimaru Ritsuka was marveling at the fact that the mastermind was a famous King of Men from Abrahamic lore, the Spiritron Communication link was successfully established, connecting them to Chaldea. The images of both sides became visible to one another.

Fujimaru Ritsuka's cry of "Solomon?!" was transmitted directly to Chaldea, causing a man named Romani to jolt violently.

"Ritsuka, what are you talking about?!"

The pink-haired man slammed his hand on the console in extreme agitation, unsure if his identity had been exposed or if it was a sheer coincidence.

However, just as he was clinging to that sliver of hope and trying to assess the situation, Gudako's watch projected a holographic image of the Uruk palace.

And so, they saw Su Mo upon the throne, Tiamat in his lap, the Goddess of Venus and the Goddess of the Underworld kneeling at his sides, Fujimaru Ritsuka hugging his leg, and little Ana peeking out from behind him... Not to mention Quetzalcoatl, Gilgamesh, Merlin, and the others standing by.

"Huh? What in the world is going on?"

Even the artistic Da Vinci was momentarily lost, not knowing where to look. There were too many powerful figures in one place. Any single one of them would have been a major player in a previous Singularity, but now, even the most heavyweight of them all, Tiamat, was looking at a man with complete obedience and eyes full of love. What was happening?

"Romani, can you make sense of this? Hey!"

Da Vinci nudged her colleague with her elbow, wanting his opinion, but got no response. Turning her head, she saw that her companion was completely frozen, practically petrified.

This was the first time she had ever seen Romani with such an expression. It wasn't the dumbfounded look of someone who had seen something shocking, but rather... the reverent expression of a pilgrim witnessing a miracle.

What is going on?

"Doctor! Doctor! Thanks to Lord Su Mo, the Singularity is resolved! Surprising, right? We did it!"

On the other end, an oblivious Fujimaru Ritsuka was still trying to show off. Even though Su Mo had handled everything, wasn't luck a kind of skill, too?

But after repeating herself three times, she heard no cry of surprise from Romani. This left Fujimaru Ritsuka and Mash, who were ready for some praise, deeply confused.

Just as they were asking Da Vinci what had gotten into Romani to make him so dazed and silent, the holographic image of Romani suddenly knelt on the spot.

Not only did he kneel, but he also cried out with the utmost piety and reverence.

"Romani... no! The Lord is my witness! Your most pious lamb, Solomon, hereby offers you my everything! All loyalty and glory be to my Lord! Hallelujah!"

At these words, everyone in Chaldea, along with Fujimaru Ritsuka and the others in the Age of Gods, was thrown into a state of absolute shock.

"EHHHHHHH?!"
