Are you going to kill every member of the gang?" Jamie said without hesitation: "Yes, I will."
Upon arriving at the tavern, Jamie said sarcastically: "How strange... their numbers are large; there are at least seventy people." Emilia asked if he could handle them, and he assured her he could, ordering her to stay outside and kill anyone who tried to escape. Jamie entered, feeling annoyed at having to deal with simple bandits, unlike his previous life when he faced continent-destroyers.
The guards noticed him and mocked a child holding a sword. One of them taunted: "Brat, do you know who we are? We are the Blood Fang Gang. Do you want us to kill you, little bastard?" Suddenly, Jamie severed his hand violently, cut his throat, then leaped over the second guard and incinerated him with a First Circle fire projectile.
Jamie charged inside, and the slaughter began. He killed the first person instantly, prompting the rest to shout: "Kill that bastard!" Jamie focused and unleashed his technique: "Dark Demon Swordsmanship – First Style: Threads of Darkness," reducing the attackers to shreds. Jamie then clashed with a 1-Star Low-tier Swordsman, feeling the strain of the fight since the opponent outranked him.
The man declared: "You brat! I'll cut off your head!" Jamie asked him why he followed the gang, to which the man replied that they were his ticket to wealth and glory. Jamie retorted: "I don't care." Jamie activated the Second Circle spell "Weight Increase" on his sword, making it 100 kilograms and throwing his opponent off balance. After exchanging several blows, the man executed the "Red Wolf Slash" technique, but Jamie sliced through him with "Threads of Darkness," severing his head.
Jamie threatened a short man to lead him to the leader's location. The man guided him down a corridor leading to a secret room beneath the tavern. Jamie broke down the door, killed the guard, stabbed the guide through the heart, and confronted the leader, saying: "I found you, Ghalib, you son of a bitch."
Ghalib attempted to use a woman beside him as a human shield, believing Jamie was just a child who would be easy to eliminate. However, Jamie sliced the woman in half in cold blood. He then attacked Ghalib with "Dark Demon Swordsmanship – Second Style: The Silent Sword," severing his arm. Ghalib screamed mockingly, but Jamie replied: "I know you. You aren't the one who threatened me and killed my servants," and told him he would die tomorrow.
Jamie dragged Ghalib through the pile of his men's corpses. When Ghalib saw the knight—his strongest warrior—lying dead, he broke down and fell to his knees, kissing Jamie's shoe and begging for mercy: "Honorable Baron... please, have mercy on me!" Jamie kicked him brutally, shattering his ribs and teeth, then placed his foot on his face, asking: "How does my foot taste?" Ghalib lost consciousness, and Jamie left him to see what Emilia had accomplished outside.
