Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: A Loud Morning

The next morning, Scott and Stiles—who had stayed the night at Jacob's mansion—woke up and headed to the kitchen, but didn't find Jacob there.

Stiles yawned. "That lazy snake is probably still sleeping. Let's go wake him up."

Scott shook his head. "How about no? I don't want to deal with his grumpy ass this early in the morning. Besides, it's still a bit early for school. How about we cook him breakfast instead?"

Stiles blinked. "Why?"

Scott shrugged. "Because since we've known him, we've never done anything for him—we only ask for his help. So maybe cooking breakfast might be nice."

Stiles paused for a second, then nodded. "You're right. But you're cooking. I have no idea how to cook."

"Fine." Scott said. "But you're helping."

Together, they started preparing pancakes, fried eggs, and sausages. While flipping a pancake, Scott said. "Jackson was giving me some weird looks yesterday."

Stiles snorted. "Maybe he likes you."

Scott frowned. "That's gross. And no, he looked like he knows something. Did you see the way he was looking at us when we were helping Derek into your car?"

Stiles shrugged. "The whole school was giving us weird looks. Not just Jackson. You're overthinking."

"Maybe…"

Stiles chuckled. "Speaking of Derek—yesterday was hilarious. I should've filmed him."

Scott laughed. "Yeah, seeing him all embarrassed and gassy was gold. But if you'd filmed him, he might've killed you."

"You're right." Stiles said with a grin. "I should've asked Jacob to film him—that way Derek wouldn't be able to do anything about it."

Scott shook his head. "Speaking of Jacob, do you think he had other, better medicine and just gave Derek that fart-inducing one out of spite?"

Stiles smirked. "Definitely. That snake is super petty."

"Then we definitely shouldn't get on his bad side. I don't want to end up like Derek."

Stiles said. "A farting medicine is actually fun—I'm afraid he has something much worse."

They continued chatting and laughing while cooking. When the food was finally ready, Stiles clapped his hands. "Alright! Time to wake the snake!"

He grabbed a frying pan and a ladle and began banging them together loudly.

---

Meanwhile, Jacob was in his room having a pleasant dream involving Lydia. They were just about to kiss when she frowned and asked. "What's that noise?"

Jacob ignored the noise and said. "Don't mind that, let's continue…"

But then the banging sound came from Lydia's mouth, and Jacob woke up.

---

Downstairs, Scott winced. "Stiles, stop! That's really loud and annoying. And Jacob's totally going to kill you."

Stiles, still smirking, was about to respond when a loud roar came from upstairs.

"Stiles, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

Stiles paled. "Shit, I'm screwed. Scott, see you at school or maybe in the next life!"

He dropped the pan and ladle and made a break for it. But just as he stepped out of the kitchen—there he was.

Jacob stood there, eyes glowing golden, expression murderous.

Stiles froze. "Scott! Save me!"

He spun on his heel to run, but Jacob grabbed him by the back of the neck.

"No one's saving your dumb ass." Jacob growled. "Today I'm going to kill you. Not only did you wake me up, but you ruined my sweet dream with Lydia!"

Dangling in Jacob's grip, Stiles blurted out. "Wait! I made you breakfast!"

Jacob paused, then glanced at the table loaded with food. "You made all that?"

Stiles shook his head quickly. "No, but I helped! So… can you please forgive me?"

Jacob sighed, then dropped him to the floor. "Fine. Since you made breakfast for me, I'll let it slide this time."

Stiles landed on his butt and groaned. "You should be gentle with me—I'm delicate, you know!" He rubbed his backside. "I think you broke my tailbone."

Jacob turned to him with an evil smile and said. "Then let me fix it for you."

Stiles jumped to his feet. "Nope! I'm good! Totally fine! I was just joking."

Jacob shook his head with a smile and sat at the table, greeting Scott. Then the three of them started eating, with most of the food eaten by Jacob while Stiles complained, saying. "Leave some for us, you gluttonous snake!"

After their chaotic but fun breakfast, the three of them left for school.

---

When they arrived at school, Jacob spotted Lydia and Allison waiting near the entrance. With a grin, he walked up and wrapped an arm around each of them, kissing both on the cheek.

"Good morning, beauties." He said with a wink.

Lydia smiled. "Morning, Jay."

Allison, on the other hand, pinched his side. "Pervert."

Jacob didn't even flinch. He let them go and winked at Allison, who rolled her eyes in response. Then, his gaze drifted to Lydia's slightly exposed cleavage.

'Those are... huge!' He thought with a smirk.

Lydia caught him staring and smirked. "So, what did you and Allison do last night?"

But Jacob was too busy ogling her chest with a perverted smirk and didn't even hear her. Lydia waved a hand in front of his face.

"Hello? I'm talking to you."

Jacob kept staring and said. "Oh, what did you say? I didn't hear you."

Lydia puffed out her chest even more and gave Allison a proud smile. "I said, what did you and Allison do yesterday?"

"We hung out, played video games, and I taught her how to ride a bike." Jacob replied casually.

Annoyed and jealous, Allison slipped off her jacket, revealing a sleeveless top that exposed her chest a little. Then she kicked Jacob in the shin.

"When someone talks to you, you're supposed to look them in the eyes." She said firmly.

Jacob winced and looked at her. "I told you to stop with the kicking."

His eyes dropped to her chest. 'Well, hello there!'

'Smaller than Lydia's… but each has its merits.' He thought, completely shameless.

Allison caught him staring and gave Lydia a smug smirk.

Lydia narrowed her eyes. "Bitch."

Allison snorted, but before she could fire back, Jacob interrupted.

"Allison, put your jacket back on. You'll catch a cold. And Lydia, maybe you should cover up a bit too."

Lydia raised an eyebrow. "Is someone jealous?"

Jacob nodded. "Yes. I should be the only one allowed to see your… funbags. Both of you."

"Scum!" Lydia muttered.

"Pervert!" Allison added.

Lydia smirked again. "You still haven't told me what you really did with Allison yesterday. And don't lie—I can feel that you two did something behind my back."

Allison, flustered, blurted. "We didn't do anything!"

Lydia narrowed her eyes further. "Now I'm even more sure you did. That reaction gave it away." She turned to Jacob. "Tell me the truth, or I won't talk to you for… for two days."

Jacob grinned. "Alright, alright. I didn't do anything. It was Allison—she forcibly kissed me when I dropped her off at her house. Tongue and everything."

"Hey!" Allison snapped. "You were the one who kissed me first at your house!"

Lydia's eyes widened. "So… you really did kiss him?"

Allison smirked. "Oops. I guess I did."

Lydia pouted and glared at Jacob.

"Don't look at me like that. If you want, I can kiss you too." Jacob said shamelessly.

"No, you can't." Allison snapped. "Not until we have that talk you promised."

Lydia raised a brow. "What talk?"

Allison grabbed her by the arm. "You can ask him later. Come on, we're gonna be late for class."

She dragged Lydia away, leaving Jacob standing there with a crooked grin.

After the girls left, Stiles let out a low whistle. "Wow. You're really good with girls."

Jacob turned to them with a smug grin. "Oh, you two idiots are still here? I totally forgot about you."

He slung an arm around both of their shoulders. "Wanna know my secret?"

Stiles nodded eagerly. "Yeah, tell us. Why are you so popular with girls?"

Jacob smirked. "Well, the secret is… you just have to be as handsome as me." He gave them a wink. "Too bad you two aren't, so I guess you're doomed to die single."

Both Stiles and Scott groaned and shoved him away while Jacob laughed.

"Damn it." Stiles said. "I thought you were actually gonna tell us something useful. Should've known better."

Just then, Coach Finstock appeared behind Stiles like a ninja.

"Stilinski! What are you still doing here?" He barked.

"AAAHH!" Stiles jumped back. "Coach! You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

Coach grinned. "McCall, take your stupid friend to class."

Then he turned to Jacob. "And who are you? New student?"

Jacob raised an eyebrow. "I've been here for two weeks. I've even sat through your economics class more than once."

Coach squinted at him. "Have you? Huh… didn't notice."

Then, without warning, he stepped forward and started touching Jacob's arms and shoulders.

Jacob took a step back. "Uh… what do you think you're doing?"

"Relax, I'm just checking if you've got the build for lacrosse." Coach said seriously.

Jacob said. "Coach, I think this counts as sexual harassment. And you even told me to relax while harassing me. Stiles! Call your dad, I want to report something."

Coach groaned. "Don't be a little bitch!"

Jacob gasped theatrically. "You heard that, right? He just called me his little bitch! Stiles, call the sheriff, like right now!"

Coach scratched the back of his head, clearly flustered. "Stilinski! McCall! H-Help me out here—you two know me. I wasn't trying anything weird!"

Stiles smirked. "Jacob, although this is hilarious… you should probably stop scaring the man. If rumors spread, he might actually lose his job."

Jacob smirked back. "Fine, fine. See you guys later."

Then he hurried off to class, thinking. 'That was close. If I didn't pull that stunt, Coach might've roped me into playing that stupid game.'

Once Jacob disappeared around the corner, Coach sighed in relief.

Stiles clapped him on the back. "Relax, Coach. Jacob just hates lacrosse, that's why he said that, so you don't make him play."

Coach muttered. "He scared the crap outta me… but I think he'd make a good lacrosse player. I just need to find a way to trick him into joining the team…"

"Good luck with that." Stiles said with a grin, walking off with Scott as they both laughed.

Coach stood there, deep in thought, plotting his next move to trick Jacob into playing lacrosse.
