77 - Descent into the Demonic Realm: Shinjuku

"Wait a second—you're talking about the high school version of Tohsaka, right? Does she have any memories of me?" Shirou asked in shock.

"Mhm. I don't know the full story, but Rin-senpai said that the moment she sees Shirou-senpai, she'll kick him flying. She said she's been training in Bajiquan since she was little just for that moment!" Gudako said while striking a martial arts pose.

Shirou covered his face.

That really did sound like the Tohsaka he knew.

Ever since he dumped her in the UK, she'd kicked him straight into the Thames.

After that, no matter the occasion—party or random encounter—if she saw him, she'd chase him down and beat him up.

'That crazy girl... I don't know why she still has memories, but... maybe it's better if we don't meet for now.'

"Hehehe, do you really think things will go that smoothly?" Gudako laughed mysteriously.

In her opinion, Shirou-senpai would be much happier if he was with Rin-senpai, who was like a commanding father figure.

Only when her senpai found happiness and stability would her own life be the happiest, and she would receive the most thorough care.

'Could it be that Tohsaka was also reincarnated like me? What kind of world is she in now?' Shirou thought, filled with doubt, just about to ask Gudako when Da Vinci approached, holding a golden cup.

"Shirou, let's get your pseudo-spirit origin equipped now.

It's been repaired and prepped.

Since this is a Singularity, the battles there will be far harsher than before. So! Remember! Do not let your guard down! Absolutely no recklessness!" Da Vinci warned, pulling out a golden cup containing a glowing blue orb, almost spirit-like in nature.

This was the miracle known as the "Pseudo-Spirit Origin"—the fusion of the boy's Mystic Eyes, Reality Marble, and Holy Grail powers, transforming his human body into a Heroic Spirit.

It was a phantom spirit shaped by his ideals, allowing him to become the Heroic Spirit he envisioned within. Each summoning would differ slightly depending on Shirou's current state of mind.

Originally, the FGO system summoned Heroic Spirit essences to possess him. Now, that control was in his own hands.

"I'll be careful this time," Shirou said, accepting the Holy Grail and nodding. His previous Heroic Spirit form, "Senji Muramasa," had some deep connection with him—perhaps from the past or future, or a possibility from a parallel world.

Possessing divine-level blacksmithing skills and a reckless fighting style, his combat power was overwhelming. But it often came with the cost of heavy self-damage—hurting a thousand enemies at the cost of wounding himself eight hundred times. It was a secret weapon, not to be used lightly.

"All right then, are you two ready? Gudako, Shirou?" Da Vinci asked.

"Mash, just think of this as preparing for the next battle. Wait here for us to return!" Shirou said.

"Yes… Shirou-senpai." Mash lowered her head, feeling regretful that she couldn't be of help.

"Resting well is also an important task, you know! Leave this to me and Shirou-senpai!" Gudako said, hugging Mash to comfort her.

"I understand, Senpai. I'll do everything I can from here to support you both," Mash replied as Gudako hugged her.

Da Vinci looked at the pink-haired girl and said, "Mash, can I entrust you with Romani's former role? In some ways, it's even harder than spiritron transfer.

You need to stay in constant communication with the Masters, operate the machinery flawlessly, monitor the constantly changing data non-stop, and if there's any anomaly, correct it immediately. Until things stabilize, you won't even get to sleep. Want to try?"

"Understood! Mash Kyrielight will give her all to support Gudako-senpai and Shirou-senpai!" Mash answered crisply and energetically.

"Ah, good luck," Shirou said, patting the pink-haired kouhai on the head to encourage her.

"Yeah! Good luck, Mash!" Gudako also joined in patting the girl's head.

"Yes! Even if we're in different places, my heart will always be fighting beside you both. So, please… please come back safely!" Mash prayed silently in her heart.

"Then, we're off!" the boy and girl said as they entered the teleportation device.

A flash of white light, spinning blue vortexes—Shirou and Gudako were transported to the Singularity, while Mash remained behind in Chaldea as support staff.

At that moment, Da Vinci was inwardly ecstatic: 'Yes! Finally found someone to take over the workload! This is Da Vinci-chan's greatest victory!'

"Da Vinci...san?" Mash looked at the woman suspiciously, her instincts picking something up.

"Ahem, ahem. Let's check out the situation on the Singularity side," Da Vinci quickly changed the subject and looked away.

Shirou felt himself entering a mysterious transport dimension—blue vortexes swirling, brilliant white light flashing—and then he was hurled into a distant space.

Due to a teleportation error, Gudako, Shirou, and the accompanying Heroic Spirits from Chaldea appeared a thousand meters up in the sky.

Looking down, the world was shrouded in darkness—except for one illuminated city directly below. Their bodies seemed to be drawn to that light, plummeting downward at high speed, headed straight for the only metropolis in this world.

But Gudako was unconscious from the spiritron transfer.

"The Singularity stabilized too fast. Once inside, unless the timeline is corrected, there's no returning," said Staff Member B.

"Master! Master! Please wake up!" Mash shouted desperately toward Gudako, still unconscious and falling through the sky.

"Shirou-senpai, everyone, please save her!" Mash cried out nervously.

"I got it already—waaah!" Shirou was just about to move to save Gudako when a massive force slammed into him from the side, sending him flying like a ping pong ball.

The surrounding Heroic Spirits were also launched away at the same time, vanishing from the world.

It was as if this Singularity rejected them, expelling these uninvited guests.

"Waaaah! Shirou-senpai!!" Just then, Gudako regained consciousness—only to see Shirou being hurled away.

However, unlike the other Heroic Spirits who were completely expelled, Shirou's momentum stopped after flying a few hundred meters.

Perhaps due to his unique constitution, the Singularity's rejection force wasn't as strong against him.

"Damn it! What the hell is going on?!" Shirou rotated his body, adjusted his posture, and began falling again—his feet now wearing projected flying feathered sandals.

He forcefully dove into the Singularity's city.

Unfortunately, he had already drifted thousands of meters away from Gudako and completely lost her.

At last, Shirou landed on the ground. Just then, a heavily armored motorcycle roared toward him, screeching to a stop less than a meter away.

"You're the Master from Chaldea?" came a cold and imposing female voice.

Shirou turned around at the sound—and was instantly stunned to see a familiar face.
