Chapter 58 - Ten Rings Headquarters

Two UH-60 Black Hawk Helicopters landed on the hotel roof. The roar of the rotors created a strong downdraft, almost blowing everything on the roof away. Everyone braced themselves as they got into the helicopters.

The spacious cabin of the helicopter could easily seat eleven people. Matt and Broly boarded one, while the remaining soldiers crammed into the other.

The helicopters began to ascend, banking over the hotel before turning onto their target heading. They were on loan from the CIA's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and the experienced helicopter pilots never stayed in one place for too long.

Matt took a headset from the overhead compartment and handed it to Broly, putting one on himself. The two turboshaft engines on the helicopter were too noisy, and headsets were necessary for normal conversation.

"What's the deal with that Raditz that appeared in Ciudad Juarez?"

He pulled a case of beer from the cabin and opened a bottle, handing it to Broly.

Due to Broly's deliberate indulgence, the videos from Ciudad Juarez had quickly spread online. The internet was in an uproar. Some believed the Green Goblin and Raditz were the same person, while others firmly believed Superman and the Green Goblin were not the same person.

"A small fry, a pathetic weakling. I just didn't expect him to chase me all the way to Earth."

Broly began to act.

Even Matt, who had already made some guesses, couldn't help but be shocked when Broly admitted it so openly.

The combat power detection glasses Broly had used didn't seem like anything humans could possess. His tail was also very strange. But he had previously, subconsciously, assumed it was a mutation.

"Why was he chasing you?"

Matt immediately pressed, as this concerned the diplomatic relations between Earth and Planet Vegeta. He had to get it straight. In the face of Planet Vegeta, which possessed interstellar travel capabilities, Earth was undoubtedly the weaker party.

"It's simple. I have a better talent than Prince Vegeta. King Vegeta was afraid I would threaten his position, so he tried to kill me."

There was a king and a prince; it seemed Planet Vegeta was a monarchy. Dealing with such countries was the most troublesome, Matt thought with a headache.

"Don't worry. I escaped to Earth. I can't pose much of a threat to Prince Vegeta anymore. This planet is remote and resource-poor. They won't waste time launching a large-scale invasion. At most, they'll send a warrior like Raditz, who doesn't have much potential, to see if they can get rid of me."

Broly said.

"How strong is this Raditz?"

Matt was skeptical, but at this stage, he could only contact Broly and couldn't verify the truth from Planet Vegeta or Raditz's mouth.

"Raditz's strength is about the same as mine now, but he's over fifty years old, and I'm only twelve. I'll surpass him before long."

Broly picked up the beer and took a swig.

"Pfft!"

Matt sprayed out all the beer he had just drunk.

"You're only twelve?!"

"As a fighting race, Saiyans have a long youth for combat, and as a mutant, my body will be bigger after I become an adult, about two meters and thirty centimeters."

Broly explained.

Matt nodded expressionlessly; he'd have a lot to write in his report after this mission. Moreover, he was even more determined to build a good relationship with Broly. His strength could still get stronger; this was simply a thick, strong thigh to hold onto, and he had to hold onto it tightly.

The task of verifying the information Broly had given was best left to other CIA agents.

The helicopter flew for about three hours before reaching its destination. Someone had already cleared the ground and lit up guiding lights for the helicopters to land. The two helicopters slowly descended, and a team of Ten Rings soldiers were already waiting there. Most of them were Pashtuns, with only the two leading figures being of Eastern descent.

One of them was bald, with long, white whiskers. He was about sixty or seventy years old, but with a strong physique and a lively spirit. Standing beside him was a beautiful young woman, voluptuous and impossible to guess her age.

"That old man is the Fire Cloud Evil God's senior disciple, named Wang Xiuhong. The woman is the fourth disciple, named Xu Mei," Matt explained to Broly.

The CIA personnel got out of the helicopter, and the two helicopters immediately flew away. They would return to pick up all the CIA personnel after the negotiations and explanations.

"Welcome, Mr. Matt. Master is already waiting for you."

Wang Xiuhong extended his hand to shake Matt's. Matt had been in charge of the CIA's intelligence work in Afghanistan before he was in charge of clearing out Mexican drug cartels for the CIA, so he knew the main figures of the Ten Rings.

After releasing Matt's hand, he turned his attention to Broly.

"Who is this friend? Never seen him before."

Although Broly had suppressed the Internal Energy in his body, Wang Xiuhong still noticed something was off. While Internal Energy could be suppressed, Wang Xiuhong's sharp eyes could tell from Broly's physique that he was strong and his martial arts skills were amazing.

"Broly is the strong one we brought to deal with the Cat Demon. I believe you've seen him on TV; he's the Green Goblin."

Wang Xiuhong's pupils contracted. He had seen the video in Mexico City. The Green Goblin was much stronger than him in terms of pure destructive power. He didn't expect such a troublesome figure to be with the CIA.

Did this Green Goblin come to show off to Master?

Wang Xiuhong's mind raced. The Tony Stark incident had created a rift between the Ten Rings and the CIA. It was normal for the CIA to have such thoughts. It seemed he had to remind Master to give this person a show of force to deflate the CIA's arrogance. This way, they wouldn't be at a disadvantage in the upcoming negotiations.

Everyone got into the military trucks prepared by the Ten Rings. All the CIA personnel were given sound-proof headsets and blindfolds, unable to see or hear any outside information. The military trucks bumped along for more than two hours before stopping.

Removing the blindfolds and headsets, Broly found himself in a valley. The Ten Rings had diverted water from somewhere and created a huge artificial lake in the valley. The water was clear, and lotus roots were planted throughout. Green lotus leaves stood on the lake, and various expensive koi swam back and forth, chasing each other.

The banks of the lake were lush with vegetation, with buildings every five steps and pavilions every ten steps; the corridors meandered, and the eaves were high and upturned; each occupied its own terrain, with intricate designs. The Fire Cloud Evil God had actually built a paradise in this barren land.

All the Pashtun soldiers were left outside the valley. Wang Xiuhong used Internal Energy to propel a wooden boat, taking everyone towards the wooden building where the Fire Cloud Evil God was located.
