Chapter 5 - 5. Isaac (16 year old)

sighed as I closed the door behind me. My mother was again mad at me but it was normal to me. My dad passed away when I was younger, so I practically have nobody except her. I'm standing in front of her house. There were no lights on in her house except the one in her room. I could see her standing in front of the mirror. She is wearing a silver top and a matching silver skirt. Her brown hair fell perfectly down her back. She searched out a bow to wear and she chose the one I gave her. This one was black with tiny wine red roses. She looks stunning. Even though she is 14, many boys wanted to date her. I always needed to step up and scare them away, but it was impossible to scare away every boy. They keep glancing at her, and it's annoying. I see her putting on a necklace. The one with the golden heart in the middle. She loved it and I loved it more. It was my grandma's. She had loved it and wore it till she died. I remembered I took the necklace from her when she died. She reminded me of Avery. So sweet, so pure and so beautiful. She had the same hair as her.

I had picked up a flower for her on my way here her favorite. I was thrown out of my thoughts when I heard a bang. She smacked the window shut. "Sorry," her voice sounded through the warm air. She climbed down deftly. "Hey," she said as she came up to me. She was even more beautiful now that she was close. Her blue eyes shone brighter than ever. I'm jealous of everyone who gets a glance from her eyes. "Hey Avy," I say as I hold out my hand she takes it, and we walk a bit. She nervously bites her nails with the other hand. "Is something bothering you?" I asked her, and she blinked at my question. "No, everything's fine," she says. "Then why are you biting your nails?"

"Cus I'm nervous, okay?" she says as she turns to look at the sun.

"For what are you nervous?" I ask her, and she ignores me. I gently but hard at the same time push her against the wall.

"I'll ask again why you are nervous." She was scared for a moment, but then she burst out in laughter. "I'm just nervous because you are here," she says, "you have a lot of strength in you," she says, laughing. I bring my face closer to her, and she stops laughing. "Why are you laughing?" I ask her. "Cus I'm nervous. I laugh when I'm nervous, " she says as she stares at my lips. "So you're nervous because of me," I tease her. When she doesn't answer, I bring my face closer, and for a moment, I think her breathing has stopped. I feel her heart pounding in her chest. I see that cute face get red, and I smirk at her as I pull her by her arm away from the wall. I had teased her enough but it was funny and I couldn't help it. "So where are we going?" she asks. "You'll see," I say as I pick her up into my arms. "Thank you," she says. She had always gotten tired quickly when we'd walked. Her head is against my chest. "I love hearing your heartbeat," she says, and my heart makes a jump. Oh no, that's not good if she hears that. "Am I doing this to you?" she says. "No," I lied. "Then who or what is doing this to you?" I don't respond to her question. I had set my first step on the beach, and she immediately opened her pretty eyes. "Awhh yess," she says as she tries to get out of my arms. I take off her shoes and gently set her on the sand. She immediately starts running towards the ocean. "Darling, wait for me," I yell to her. She doesn't respond. I take my shirt off and my jeans and throw if somewhere. I ran towards her. She is already at the beginning of the sea, but I catch up and begin running into the cold water. She jumps into the ocean. Her silver top sparkles more than ever. And her skirt is umm distracting. Her hair is wet, so it curls a bit up. She still has her bow in. "Darling, stop," I say to her. She stops but still splashes some water onto my face. "Your bow." I pulled it out for her and ran to the shore to put it down. Then I ran towards her and dragged her into the ocean. She laughed when we got above. My hand was on her waist and her head was on my shoulder. I smiled at her. "Tag," she said, and ran out of the sea. I ran as hard as I could after her. She was already on the sand. I ran after her. When I finally reached her we were breathing heavily. She smiled and it made my heart beat faster. Her gaze moves over me and I can feel her staring at my body. I walked towards her. She stayed still like she accepted it. I brought my face closer to her and I could feel her cotton candy smell filling my lungs. I reached for my pocket and took the flower from my pocket and reached out to put it behind her ear. She allowed it, and I was startled by the pure touch when I touched her skin. The flower suited her beautifully. "Thank you," she said as I took her hand and led her to a place to sit. She sits down. The sun was almost down. There was still red and pink in the sky. The same color as her flower. I sit down beside her and she lays her head on my chest. "Isaac promise you'll never leave me," she says her tone sounding sad. "I'll promise a hundred times if you want. Are eyes connect again and it feels like I'm drowning her blue eyes are filled with tears and she still has flushed pink cheeks. "Don't cry" I say to her as I wipe her tears ou tof her face. "Thank you" she whispers. We were there for a couple of hours and I think she fell asleep. I picked her up and carried her home. I picked up her bow too. She didn't even wake up. I climbed with her on my shoulder through her window and softly placed her on her bed. I lay down beside her and tuck us in. I placed a soft kiss on her forehead and fell asleep
