Morris's POV
Chaos reigned in my office as we entered. Staff members huddled over computers while others conversed in urgent tones. Natalie stood at the center of it all, efficiently organizing the influx of information. I noticed Gordon working alongside Jasper, who had surprisingly revealed himself to be quite the skilled hacker.
"Morris, we've managed to break into Monica's phone," Gordon announced, glancing up from his screen. "We've also pulled surveillance footage from neighboring buildings and identified the license plate of the vehicle that took her."
A wave of relief washed over me. "Finally, something we can work with."
One of the police officers quickly tempered my optimism. "The lead isn't as promising as it sounds—the plate is fake. But we now have the vehicle's description and have issued an alert for matching models and color."
"What about the phone data?" I asked, positioning myself between Jasper and Gordon to view their screens.
