『...En—』

『PLEASE END MY SUFFERING!!!』

~~[]~~

In a dim room inside one of the houses of Kouh town, a young man could be seen groaning in his bed. His back and forehead were full of cold sweat, as he twitched— clearly experiencing a nightmare.

"AHH!!" The Young Man jolted awake, screaming, and breathing heavily afterwards.

"Dang it… that nightmare again." He muttered while groaning.

This wasn't the first time that he had that same nightmare, in fact, this nightmare episode started a week ago, when he arrived in this world.

He– Arata Shouma, was a reincarnated individual. What's more, it wasn't just once, he had been reincarnated twice now.

With his first reincarnation being an absolute disaster. Because— his life, if you could even call it that, consisted of him undergoing experimentation over and over again.

It was hell, he didn't even have a name, just a code number to show that he was nothing more than a livestock.

The world he was in before, while being what you would call a sci-fi paradise seemingly without any wars and crime whatsoever, hid inhumane experiments, all for the same "human" progression as they would say.

And Shouma, was unfortunately born from the very same lab that tortured him since he remembered.

Honestly speaking, if he could choose between the mundane and wasted life he had in his less advanced first world and the life he experienced in the second one, Shouma would choose the former over the latter any time.

He was filled with regret for committing s*icide just because he hit a problem that was seemingly unsolvable, if his past self knew just what would happen once he did that, Shouma was sure that he would have never done that regardless of failures and problems.

But— although he suffered throughout his short entire life in the second world he was born in, it wasn't all in vain.

Because– although he died because the experiment on inserting and binding an artificial intelligent computer in his brain has failed.

Unexpectedly, he found out that it actually succeeded when he arrived here. In fact, the result was even more absurd, as the artificial computer did not just bind on his physical brain, but also, to his soul.

And because of said computer, the memories Shouma had long forgotten from his first life had resurfaced just like a flood.

But it wasn't a perfect memory, just like Shouma had assumed at first. Instead it was just a refresh— he was shown every memory of his first and second life, starting from when he saw light for the first time, until his death.

And with it, the Computer in his head rebooted, allowing him to view the "stats" and "skills" that he currently has.

He was surprised, not just because of the screen itself, but also because he had seen what seems to be an artifact that had bound to his soul ever since arriving in this world.

Yet, instead of being happy, Shouma almost cried, because— what he thought would be a peaceful and normal world in the 21st century turned out to be a world filled with gods and dragons.

He was in the world of Draconic Deus, the world that High School DXD– an Ecchi anime from his past life, is set in.

So Shouma was full of regret— but later, it turned into resignation as he felt that it was unfortunate.

It was unfortunate that the Computer only booted up successfully a week ago. If the computer had just awakened years ago along with his past memory.

He could have had ample time to prepare.

As for why he was confident if he could have just prepared? Well, it's related to the thing he had seen in his "Status"

A Sacred Gear. It wasn't a normal one, and neither was it a Longinus. In fact, Shouma felt that it was stronger than that.

A Sacred Gear that deserved a tier of its own.

『Idea Trigger』

A Sacred gear so broken, that it wouldn't be wrong to call it a "BUG" even in its base, without using balance breaker, it was still a pretty busted sacred gear.

For it— held the power of creation.

『IDEA TRIGGER』

(Un-awakened: 99%)

Description:

A Sacred Gear that grants its user the power of creation–even capable of creating life.

It is both the Biblical God's magnum opus, and his greatest failure.

Unfortunately for certain reasons, The Biblical God was unable to finish this creation on time. And later on, due to an error, this sacred gear was also sent to be circulated among humans.

None was able to successfully awaken its dormant abilities, for activating it was tantamount to the possessor's death, due to their brain overloading— leading to it melting.

Closing the window again, Shouma breathed a sigh of relief once more.

He couldn't help but feel a little bit thankful that he was sent in that world back in his second life, because if he didn't get experimented and get planted with the computer, then— he would've most likely get sent to another world the moment he arrived in this world, or worse, he might die for good this time..

Speaking of the computer, it wasn't really groundbreaking like the systems I read in the novels.

It was purely just a monitoring computer, responsible for analyzing and processing his body's information. In fact, it is incapable of even simple appraisal on items that aren't part of him.

And as for being worried that he might die if his brain can't handle the strain of the sacred gear?

Honestly, he wasn't worried at all, because the same micro computer planted in his brain was a top military grade computer that was made very recently in the second world.

It was capable of clearly processing a black hole located in the furthest space the latest telescope could see, in the highest resolution possible.

Which is, hundreds of billions away from the mother planet. In layman's terms, it was really really far.

Which wasn't surprising, considering that that world was already in the intergalactic era.

It was the very same reason why he couldn't escape in that facility. After all, when you're located on a hidden and remote planet with the sole purpose of developing technology— escaping just a building isn't even feasible.

As for how he knows all this information, well, despite most of them being horrible people, there were some people who took care of the lab rats, quite well.

Well… "Quite Well" is a bit of a stretch, as they only feed them and sometimes even let us borrow an information pad, which allows them to watch news and some shows.

It was very limited, but it was also the only time that they felt like normal humans. Especially for children.

"Notice: The Extra Module, Sacred Gear:

『Idea Trigger』 is now online."

"Warning: Due to 『Idea Trigger』, core function, [Body Monitoring] will mostly cease functioning until further notice."

"Exception: 『Idea Trigger』 Module."

With those abrupt announcements from the computer, the screen that Shouma was able to see closed for a moment, before opening once more.

"...Can't believe I got nerfed this early." Shouma muttered bitterly as he sat frozen on his bed.

"Wait no— This isn't a nerf, it's a buff. Exchanging a barebones "system" that functions purely to display my status to a Sacred Gear that lets me create anything that I imagine is more than a buff.

It's like getting an exploit for that matter." Shouma chuckled as he tried to think positively. Which didn't really take long, because the more he thought about it, the more he accepted the fact that what happened to him was positive.

"Hooh-, alright… For now, why don't we read the abilities that 『Idea Trigger』 have." He said before spending the next few minutes reading about the two "skills".

"Hmmm… I stand corrected, this Sacred Gear's existence is more Bug-like than the Balance Breaker, which is the bug itself." Shouma clicked his tongue and grinned, as he started thinking of all the things he can create with the sacred gear.

And without wasting any time, Shouma attempted to create something for the first time ever.

"And done!" Shouma jumped, grinning as he stared at the seemingly ordinary bo staff made entirely of wood in his hand.

He would've activated the ability he imparted right away if he didn't suddenly feel drained.

"Ugh… guess creating magical stuff is quite taxing for me." Shouma muttered weakly, as he suddenly felt hungry.

But he ignored his hunger for now, and focused on the staff in his hand before pointing it on the floor.

"『Extend』" Shouma says, and astonishingly, the ordinary looking bo staff extended until it reached the floor.

*Fwosh!*

"HAHAHA!! Success!!" Shouma fisted the air, as he looked at bo staff, now twice in length, before closing his eyes as he willed the bo staff to retract its length.

*Fwoop!*

Shouma cheered once more, as the staff turned back to its original size! Unfortunately Shouma's smile abruptly ceased, as his stomach once again reminded him of its needs.

"Hissss… I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse!" Shouma winced before he stored the bo-staff inside the 『Dream Storage』.
