Chapter 212: Lucoa on the Offensive!
The BBQ finally ended a little after two o'clock. Everyone had eaten their fill and was completely satisfied.
Perhaps because he was too full, or maybe because he'd used up so much energy as the grill master, Ryohei Tanaka lay down on a beach chair and, before long, drowsily fell asleep.
When he woke up and groggily opened his eyes, he saw Jashin-chan with her arms stretched out stiffly, hopping around the beach with a look of utter despair on her face. Medusa was following anxiously behind her.
"What's wrong with her?" Ryohei's mind was still fuzzy, and he subconsciously asked.
"She turned into a jiangshi~~," Lucoa's lazy voice sounded by his ear, her tone light and airy.
Ryohei turned his head and saw her lying lazily on her own beach chair, a pair of large, brown sunglasses perched on her nose. The thin straps of her black bikini were tied in a bow behind her snow-white swan neck, connected to a silver triple-ring metal loop. The other end of the loop was connected to the black cups, which clung tightly to her skin, making her full bust seem even more ready to burst out.
"Oh, it's because she was bitten by Jiang Jiang!" Ryohei realized, a look of understanding on his face.
"Bingo!" Lucoa snapped her fingers playfully.
She adjusted her position to face Ryohei. The edges of the fabric instantly tightened, as if they would give way and burst under the strain in the next second.
"Want to go for a swim in the sea?" the onee-san invited.
"Sure." Ryohei took out his phone to check the time. It was 3:27 PM. He casually agreed.
He put his phone away, got up from the chair, and stretched while looking over at Yurine. He saw her sleeping soundly on her side, a hand resting on her pale, soft stomach.
"..." Ryohei didn't disturb her. He stretched his body and walked with Lucoa toward the blue sea.
The hopping Jashin-chan's gaze landed on Ryohei. She suddenly cried out, "Eh? How weird! Servant, I suddenly really want to bite you!" As she said this, she hopped toward Ryohei.
"Jashin-chan, stop!" Medusa, following behind, paled and reached out to stop her.
"Only an idiot would let you bite them!" Ryohei retorted calmly at the 'zombie-snake' who was slower than a normal person running, then bolted away.
Lucoa stood her ground. Her eyes met the hopping Jashin-chan's. Then, Jashin-chan, with a dumbfounded look, opened her mouth and bit Lucoa's arm.
"Ah—! I've been bitten!" a certain someone's cheerful voice came from behind.
Ryohei, who had already run into the sea and was knee-deep in water, turned back in confusion. He then saw a dark shadow pounce at him.
Jashin-chan was left standing there, stunned. When she recovered, she pointed at the spot on the sea where Lucoa and Ryohei had 'disappeared' and exploded at Medusa, "I didn't even want to bite her! I just lost control! She framed me! She's slandering me!"
She was so angry she snapped out of her zombie state!
"Emmm..." Medusa looked at the sea with a complicated expression.
Under the canopy—
"Oh... oh no! The boss is being attacked by a zombie!" The honest Pekola stood up in a panic.
Poporon looked at her strangely. "What nonsense are you talking about? Can't you tell they're just playing around?"
"Lady Pekola really is naive," Pino glanced at her old boss, shrugged, and couldn't help but comment.
"Eh, eh? Is that right?" Pekola looked at them, shocked.
"I actually became part of their 'play'!" At the same time, Jashin-chan put her hands on her hips, so angry she laughed, feeling speechless.
...
Ryohei was tackled into the sea by Lucoa. He instinctively closed his eyes and held his breath.
Unexpectedly, he didn't choke on water. He didn't even feel the sensation of being submerged.
He opened his eyes in confusion and found himself inside a transparent bubble. Looking out, the magnificent underwater world unfolded before him.
Golden sunlight slanted down from the surface, becoming thousands of dancing light spots shimmering in the blue water. Tiny bubbles floated up like strings of pearls. Colorful schools of fish, like flowing rainbows, swam by. Among them, a green sea turtle paddled leisurely past his eyes...
"This... This is?" Ryohei's eyes widened in amazement. He looked up, shocked, at Lucoa, who was straddling him.
"I saw online that this place is great for diving. What do you think, Ryohei-kun?" Lucoa opened her eyes fully, her lips curving into a smile as she looked down at him.
"Mmm... it's nice, but I can't feel the water, so it feels like it's missing something." It was a bit like being in an aquarium, but much more real.
Ryohei patted Lucoa's smooth, delicate thigh. Unable to take it, he said, "Get off me."
"I won't! If I get up just because you tell me to, wouldn't I lose face?" Lucoa had a mischievous smile and even swayed slightly on purpose.
Hiss... this vixen!
"Since when do you care so much about face!" Ryohei retorted. He pushed against the shallow seabed—just intending to struggle—but he unexpectedly sat up, toppling Lucoa over.
Ryohei blinked and looked around. No one was nearby. Jashin-chan and the others probably wouldn't be over for a while.
So, Ryohei decided to "teach Lucoa a good lesson."
