Chapter 118 - A note

Seraphina's POV

I smiled to myself, adjusting a tray of chocolate cupcakes.

And just like that, the rush began.

Customers streamed in one after another—some ordering coffee to go, others sitting down for breakfast. Hazel was amazing at the front, greeting everyone warmly and taking orders with practiced ease, while I kept the display stocked and helped with plating whenever needed.

Before long, the items on the display were nearly gone.

"Seraphina, we need more!" Hazel called over her shoulder.

"On it!" I said, quickly heading back into the kitchen.

I grabbed a fresh tray of donuts and another of blueberry muffins, balancing them carefully as I walked back out to the front. As I began arranging them on the display, I heard a deep male voice near the counter.

"One black coffee, please."

"Coming right up!" Hazel said brightly, already moving to the espresso machine.
