I wanted to really go back to my own country? world? Dimension? I remembered the video saying something about dying and changing dimensions, I didn't really pay attention, It was.. as if I was charmed by the women
But it all doesn't matter now, because in front of me was the home screen to the system. There were multiple apps (I don't know what they are called so l called them apps) in the home screen.
shop, exchange, system settings, help, etc. It was like a phone, a computer, I thought it was really cool.
I first went into shops, just to check it out.
It was like a game interface. It showed how much i had at the top of the screen( 0 ) and it sold cool weapons, potions, armor, etc.
It all felt like a dream, but me having another chance at life, with a system at that, just feels like a dream... a happy one.
Once again I was just admiring the menu when. suddenly a notification popped up on my screen, and my curiosity got the better of me and I opened it
"Thank you for signing up for KILLS DIMENSION MORTEM SYSTEM, here is a small gift from us!"
The gift included a traveling permit and 200coins for me to spend!
This was huge! I could finally go inside the town and meet new people and even find my way back home.
I went back up to the guards and handed them my traveling permit, but I guess it's a one time use thing because they kept it with them.
After showing them the traveling permit they let me pass without any trouble.
The town looked vibrant and beautiful, but I still wondered why everyone's ears are so pointy.
I have already tried to communicate with another person before and try to find out what dimension I am in, but it seemed like they didn't understand the language I spoke.
If you are wondering how I know every time I die I come back but just in another universe, I searched it in the help app.
I also learnt that no one else could see the system but me, and that I can open it by simply just saying 'system' and I can close it by saying 'system close'.
I once again opened the shop just to see what they were selling.
As I was scrolling down the endless list of goodies that are definitely overpriced, I found one that caught my eyes.

The system says only 200 coins but that's my whole life savings, but the offer was too tempting and I was sold. I clicked buy immediately, and yes I have a spending problem.
Immediately after pressing buy, something appeared right at my hands It was a very tiny device thing that I guessed I just put it in my pocket.
I decided to approach another person just to test the device and see if it works.
"hello, can you understand me?"
A random man with a goatee and brown hair answered with" Yes, do you need help with anything?".
" Actually yes I do. Do you know what dimension we're in?"
"hmm, no sorry, but I guess it's not a bad idea to check the library."
Then we exchanged our byes and thanks and l was off my way
"library, ok that's my first destination!"
With determination I headed off towards the library (The man told me the directions).
It took me approximately 20minutes by foot to reach the library.
The library looked like the tower of babel, the ones you see in stories and picture books.
Once I arrived, I was met with a young soldier.
"please give me 15 gold as an entrance fee for you to enter, thank you."he said.
I knew I didn't have money, and this was a problem.
I really needed to know the name of what the dimension I'm in is, because it was one of my quests. Oh yeah I forgot to mention, there is also this app called quests, and it said if I don't find out the name of the dimension I'm in before I die, I would face a big punishment.
Even though I don't know what it is, it would probably be better for me to play it safe and do my task.
But now my main problem was money. I knew where to find the information and how to get it, but I just needed 15 gold.
But thanks to my luck, I already knew a way to make money.
When I was walking to the library I saw a huge building with a sign saying 'adventure guild', I bet I could make money there, like how I saw it in animes and mangas.
Once I arrived there and went in I was welcomed in by a very gorgeous, young receptionist, just like how it is in the shows.
"hello, what can I do for you today?" she said
I just took a risk and said "I would like to apply, thank you"
"Ok, here is the registration form, please fill the whole thing out."
After I was done with that, she lead me to the back, and gave me a basic sword as a complementary gift.
"This is the best guild you can find in the whole town, the rewards for quests are very hefty too."
She explained to me how the guild system worked.
To put it simply, there are different ranks, ranging from S to D rank, and by doing quests that are available for your rank and completing it, you will get rewarded in gold and maybe even rank up.
She said that everyone starts at D and there are very few S rank adventurers, and also said that a guild rank is universal, even for different dimensions, so it will be very useful to be high rank, which will give you more privileges and rewards.
I still didn't understand the connections between one dimension and another, but I figured out that they are somehow connected and intertwined.
I looked at the board full of quests and missions, but one caught my eyes
'Kill 3 bats in the forgotten forest'
I asked the receptionist "where's the forgotten forest?"
"It's a forest that's a few hours from our guild, are you planning on going there for a quest?"
"yes, I probably will" I said
I took the paper with the quest on and brought it to the reception, and the receptionist processed the quest for me.
"good luck on your first quest!" she said, and I was off my way.
A few hours later, I arrived at the forgotten forest.
I started walking into it.
I can't lie it looked really creepy, as if a ghost haunted the whole forest, but I needed the money to finish my quest, or else I would face a punishment.
"Whatever the punishment is I don't want to face it.." I said sighing with my sword in my hand.
I kept walking until I saw a giant cave that exuded an ominous vibe.
I was so scared and surprised by it my hands were trembling in fear I almost dropped my sword.
I decided to enter the cave after a long time of thinking it over.
The vibes the cave was giving out creeped me out, and the air was so cold it burnt my nose.
I was almost about to just quit and go back when I suddenly heard something,..I quickly tensed up, all my muscles were frozen in place.
The cound got louder and louder each second, and it sounded like a stampede.
It was a stampede, a bat stampede.
The bats rushed in, there was about thousands of them, all rushing in to bite and scratch my face.
My goal for the quest was in front of me, I had to kill 3 bats.
On paper it sounded easy but there was literally thousands of them all at me at once, it didn't even give me a chance to swing my sword.
I crouched down and just let the bats attack me, tears rolling down my eyes. I really didn't know what to do, I was scared.
Even if I ran the bats would easily be able to catch up.
After minutes of getting scatched and bruised, I realised, the only way for me to kill 3 bats and get out alive is by facing the bats.
I stood up, and the bats started flying and scratching at me more crazily, as if they were drugged to see me die. I raised my sword and I also swung it wildly like a crazed monkey with a stick.
"fuck" I said as a bat tried to rip my eyeballs out.
I managed to grab a bat with my hands moment later and I stabbed the bat with my sword.
Right now my body was looking terrible. It was being attacked by all sides, and in some parts of my arm, I could literally see the bones and the veins of my arm.
I knew I could die any moment now, and because I haven't figured out the name to the dimension I'm in now, I knew I was in a lot of trouble.
But at least I managed to kill one bat, all I had to do was repeat the process, grab the bat, and kill it with a sword.
After a few minutes of repeating the process I managed to kill 3 bats and bring the remains outside of the cave..
Now outside I opened my system to check if any new mail came or if anything just happened in general, but a few seconds later, a screen popped out.
