The second time I died the same thing happened to me again. I was reborn. But this time the feeling and the vibe was different.
I could hear people from a distance and the air felt like as if l was back in the busy streets of Seoul, Korea. I can't believe it.
After experiencing something like that, 2 deaths, all l wanted now was the sound and the people, I just wanted everything to go back to normal.
To be honest I'm not even sure if that was real, everything felt like a lucid dream, everything felt fake yet real. It was hard to tell.
I rushed down the hill I was in to go to the vibrant city I saw in the distance. But as I got closer I could easily tell this was not a city at all, It looked more like a medieval town that l had seen from a school project years ago.
As I kept getting closer things got wierder. "what the hell" I said. The people had pointy ears as if they were elfs. The buildings look like they were made hundreds of years ago with wood and stone instead of concrete and metal.
The city still looked vibrant and the people looked very friendly, so I approached the guarded gates thinking I could ask for directions.
OH BOY I WAS WRONG
As soon as I arrived the two guards with pointy ears who were guarding the gate raised their spears forcefully onto my face.
I was so surrprised I jumped back and tripped over a rock.
"Only those with a traveling permit can enter the great town of ROSSEVELT"
They yelled so loud my eardrums nearly tore.
I needed a moment to think, what was a traveling permit? Is this even Korea? Who are these people with pointy ears? And why were their voices so loud?
I knew I didn't have a traveling permit,I've never heard of it in my whole life before!
"I'm sorry I probably made a wrong turn somewhere, I'm gonna go now." I said.
They allowed me to leave without any trouble. I was so confused I didn't know what to do.
At that second something happened.
Something popped out into my face.
It was like a game interface, from games I used to play a long time ago before I had to sell my phone because of my debt.
I tried to touch it. My hand went through, I waved at it. My hand went through.
The system interface was in some kind of a loading screen. It had a bar, approximately 70% complete, and in the middle, with big bold words, said,
'THE KILLS DIMENSION MORTEM SYSTEM'
"what the hell is this?"
I didn't know what this was or what anything that happened to me was at this point.
"The Kills Dimension Mortem System?
Mortem meant death in latin, I knew that because I used to learn latin as a kid in school.
I thought this whole thing was stupid, I mean, what do you mean dimension?
I thought all of this was just a prank, not like l had anyone to prank me but this was way ahead of my brain power to imagine it being anything else.
As I was thinking about what this 'system' could be, I heard a ding in my ears, like the ones you hear when you level up or start a game.
The screen changed, the bar was complete now and the text changed to
'welcome to the KILLS DIMENSION MORTEM SYSTEM'
'Would you like to continue?'
ok, this was weird. This couldn't be a hologram because there is no- projector near me, the only option for me was to press continue.
As soon as I pressed continue a new screen popped up. It was a video, and I didn't know what else to do than to play it.
As soon as I pressed play a young beautiful women with red hair showed up.
Her beauty captivated me I could barely focus on the video
"Welcome to the KILLS DIMENSION MORTEM SYSTEM. This is a system where we give lonely, nothing good in life losers one more chance to make a difference in this world. We only need consent from you and we can get started right away."
She blew an air kiss that enchanted me into signing the magic sheet that was in front of me.
It was the greatest mistake I've ever made in my whole life.
