Chapter 6 - Cutting Leaves

A tall white haired man stood, leaning against a tree.

Not because he was hurt or anything mind you, he was simply observing from afar his students student teach his student which coincidentally was his own student and his past students son.

He sighed, what a mouthful!

Well either was, his student stood or rather his student and all his clones stood sweating trying to cut a leaf which their chakra.

How did he knew that they were trying to cut it instead of setting it on fire or making it become dust which fire and or earth release?

Well because his student with the help of his clones was already making cuts across the leaves, not fully across mind you.

At most there were small cuts in the edges, each clone having one leaf and even than not all of those clones having produced a tear in a leaf...

Not too surprising, but most took months to learn and the boy learnt to produce tears in a mere week...

And it was merely not that surprising because of the way that Kakashi designed the training.

It was quite easy, the first week was used by Kakashi to help naruto more with his shadow clones.

To teach the boy to distribute his Chakra more efficiently and to create the clones with less Chakra waste, or atleast as little as possible and how to maintain those clones for longer periods of time.

The second week was being used for the wind style training, to teach naruto a tool that would most certainly make him more dangerous and a tool he could depend on.

Now the third week was starting and naruto was making good progress with the dozen or two dozen clones trying to cut down the leaf into two pieces with Chakra alone.

He needed to feel the Chakra and than change its nature, manipulate and shape it into a thin blade and than cut it.

Not that simple, rather such precise control was quite rare among even less experienced chunin. Yes many could use large scale ninjutsu much more devastating than what he was trying to accomplish but they relied on hand seals to do that which made it much easier.

Using it without handseals to enhance weapons and so on was harder tho if a shinobi trained and slowly built up on his mastery through mastering various jutsu of various ranks they could accomplish the same but much slower while at the same time with a greater arsenal.

The leaf was merely step one of this training and if he was done he would have an easier way learning jutsus, with both methods one could arrive at the same destination after all...

Jiraya smiled, shaking his head left and right as he chuckled.

He wondered how strong naruto would become, even with his lack of talent and only use of his witty methods to speed up the process.

Even he was surprised which his ability to learn the rasengan, an A rank ninjutsu in three weeks.

He also held giant Chakra reserves to accompany his unconventional yet quick mind...

Perfect for that, but it was too early.
