Back at the guild.
The guild once again cause a ruckus.
Boom! Boom!
"Victoria! Is that all... haha..." Daniel shouted while mocking her.
Victoria flew around on her broom stick.
While casting fire ball magic towards Daniel with hatred.
"All you do is block!" She said with cold expression.
The adventurers came back to the guild.
"I can't believe it. This place still looks the same but worse," Jacob with serious low voice.
"Nothing new... at least Paulina looks beautiful as always. " Zumi said. While deeply gaze towards Paulina.
Tyrone was behind Elizabeth holding her hips, "Let's go somewhere private, shall we." He asked her.
Elizabeth body shivers and nervous.
"P-private? Here now..." she said in a nervous tone. Her cheeks were red. While looking down.
Tyrone whispered to her ear, "I want to dive further in you." His teasing voice.
Elizabeth was burning up by his teasing.
She slowly nods.
While she followed him.
While both of them were heading somewhere. Edward watch them from far while sitting way in the back of the wall.
Crack.
The sound of the cracking cup echoed softly in the quiet corner where Edward was at. He didn't notice the beer spilling onto his hand.
Edward fist clenched as he watched Tyrone and Elizabeth disappear further away. His jaw tightened with barley contained rage.
"Always stealing, what's not his..." He whispered to himself.
His eyes filled with darken.
His body trembled slightly as he fought control of his emotions. His breathing became heavy and uneven.
"She deserves better than that piece of shit..." He muttered.
If only he had killed him sooner.
Edward had developed a deep hatred towards Tyrone. He kept thinking of ways to get rid of him. He never considered Tyrone as his rival, knowing well he was just an F-rank. Edward was E-rank. He was above Tyrone in every skill and combat.
The thought about Tyrone above him was insanely stupid.
He could easily overpower him with his strength, skill, and overall magic. Now, he's taking the women he had his eyes on right in front of him.
"EHEHEHE..." A mocking laugh.
Edward turns his head towards someone on his left side. He looks to see who dares to even laugh at him.
Showing his pure anger.
When he saw who it was. He still felt mad at looking at him.
"The fuck you laughing at?" He cuss at his old colleague.
"Old my... what a terrified look. Did I hit a nerve? Hehe..." He kept taunting him.
The man who was talking to Edward was Andre Zahno. He was also an E-rank like him, and his class is a scout. The man face twisted into cruel smile.
Edward wasn't in the mood to play around.
"I'll ask again. Why are you here? Don't tell me you're here to scout me." His voice filled with venomous. While gaze with deep wide eyes filled with murder intense.
Andre felt relieved of seeing him in anger.
"Hehe... relax, buddy. I just came to see an old friend." His word filled with sweetness while hiding its true intentions.
Edward chuckles, "Oh, really. Why would an old friend come all the way here to swindle me with lies? And don't think I don't see through your bullshit."
Edward sharp intuition kick in.
"Ok... it seems I can't even trick you at all, and here I thought it would be an easy peacy. Ashame... really. But you were right about me scouting you. Since I do need my old friend back." His words filled with nothing but act.
Edward spit, "ptooey... hearing that. It just makes me sick," his word filled with disgust.
Andre didn't even deny it.
"Ain't you curious of why I am scouting you?" He said towards Edward.
Edward wasn't even the slightest interested.
"Fuck off!" He cuss at him without even hearing him out.
Andre went ahead and sat next to him.
Edward looks away.
"Come on... don't be such meany." His playful act while teasing him a little. While showing him a cute face.
Edward got more disgusted by his act.
"Stop with the gay shit! And say it already." He was slowly getting more furious.
His veins were popping out.
Andre slowly coughs, "Sorry... I was just lightening the mood... ehehe..."
He quickly went on with it and told him the truth and why he was scouting him.
"I'm no longer involved with Pegasus guild." He said.
Edward still didn't show no reaction, but then he heard of his next word.
"I'm now a member of, raven guild."
Edward eyes widened in surprise and slowly showed a deep murder intense. The mention of the Raven guild triggered a visceral reaction in him.
"You..." Edward growl, his voice dripping with hatred.
"You're working with criminals now?! And you dare to walk in here...!" Edward said with anger expression.
Andre shows a slight sinister grin.
"Yep. What... it's not like, you're gonna do—"
Andre was gonna say something, but he didn't see Edward hand moving towards him.
Swoosh.
Edward quickly grabbed his neck with force and lifted him up.
Andre gasped for air, his feet dangling as Edward lifted him off the ground with ease...
(Choking) "W-wait... I can explain..." He struggles to speak, fear in his eyes.
Andre totally forgot how Edward, have hated the raven guild. He once remembered Edward telling him that his family got murdered by the ravens.
He had long forgotten about it.
Edward said, "You're all the same. Snake that soon, shave their skins, and reveal their fangs."
"W-wait—" Andre was suffocating by his strong grip.
Edward slammed him on the table, breaking it.
Boom!
The impact was to sudden and violent that the floor cracked behind his head, pinning him there while blood trickled from his scalp.
Edward wasn't the slightest care about it. His eyes show pure hate.
"You better say your last words carefully," he said with a serious anger with murder intense.
Andre knows well that he was serious.
"I know... who killed your... family!" He managed to shout. While being choke.
Edward got more interest.
He slowly softens his grip and gives him time to breathe.
Andre coughs.
He finally got the chance to breathe.
"Damn it... you could've waited. I was going to tell you the good and bad news." He said with anger.
Edward forgot about his actions.
He slowly let go of him.
Andre felt relieved.
While he slowly got up.
"Fuck! You would have killed me..." He slowly breathes while touching his neck.
Edward said, "You're lucky enough to be alive right now. So... tell me, who was it?" He wanted to know who killed his family.
He clenched his fist.
He had waited too long to know, who had murder his family. He searched for clues but never once found it. But he knows one thing, the suspect was from the raven guild.
How did Edward know?
Because there was a piece of cloth that was ripped off. He found it inside his home filled with dried blood. He saw his dead father laying there, but he noticed his finger was pointing under the bed.
That were, he found the piece of cloth covered in blood. It seems his father struggled to hide it while being killed.
And it has a symbol of raven on it.
It was enough to know the raven guild was involved. He went to prove that the raven guild was involved with his parents murdered case, but the supreme mage elders didn't believe him. They think Edward was being overwhelmed by his parents' death.
However, that wasn't the case.
The mage elders scoffed it out and told him not to assume his false reports. Edward even complained and asked the elders to look into it.
The elders just nod.
But they weren't even gonna look into his family death.
Edward felt helpless at that time, but then he found out that one of the reason why they didn't they look into his family death. Because one of the mage elders was a member of the Raven guilds.
That when he fully realized.
They all know already, and they deliberately lied to him and acted. Edward didn't know why they lied and fully shoved his reports off. And told him not to look into it. They all give him a warning.
Edward didn't have a choice back then but to walk away, but his dark expression remains still. He will never let it go.
Now, hearing Andre news.
He finally got a glue.
Andre sat down on the wooden soft seats.
"Again. I know who's involved." He said with a lazy tone.
Edward was getting impatient.
"Spit it out, already..." He said with anger.
Andre rolled his eyes.
"Fine... the good news then." He said.
Edward is listening closely.
"You were right. They were involved in that incident." He said with a serious face.
Edward heart was beating fast.
"The one... you are looking for, is Draco. He's, D-ranker, and his class is a fighter." He said.
Edward asks,"Are you sure?"
Andre lazy replies, "I'm 50% sure he was involved."
Edward asked him once again, "And how do you know that?"
Andre replies, "I was snooping around and asking a few members while playing along. You know, acting is one of my gifts, after all." He said with a smirk on his face like it was a good thing.
Edward wasn't even showing any emotion.
Andre noticed his reaction and feeling a little bit offended, but he shoved it off and continued what he was going to say.
"And guess what I found?" He said.
"What..." Edward replied back with curiosity and impatience. While showing his anger expression.
"I heard Draco got released from prison. But the most surprising thing was that draco was the last scene with your father. And a few moments later... well, you know." He said.
Andre looks at him with seriousness in his eyes, and that is when Edward realizes what he means.
"So... Draco, ugh." He looked serious.
Andre nods, "I didn't risk my life for no reason. So now, you got a suspect, but I'm about to tell you the bad news."
Edward looks serious.
"What..." He asks.
Andre replied, "I suggest you don't look any further into your family death case." His words were filled with nervous and serious.
That when a sudden veins popped on Edward forehead with furious expression.
He grabbed his clothes with both of his hands and pinned him forcefully next to the wall.
Baa.
Edward pushed him next to the wall.
"WHAT HELL! YOU JUST TOLD ME THE GUYS' NAME! AND NOW YOU WANT ME TO DROP IT?! AND ACT LIKE MY PARENTS MURDERED WAS NOTHING..." He shouted with pure hatred.
But Andre looks at him nervously.
"Tell me.. and what if that person has someone strong backing him. Are you still able to go through it?" He asked him with serious questions.
Edward was taken aback by his sudden change of tone.
"And who might that strong person?!" He asks with curiosity.
Andre said, "Draco, older brother..."
Edward said, "And..."
He didn't care even if it was his father or his family. Edward will get revenge no matter what.
Andre said, "His older brother's name is Ivan Walker. You know... the S-rank."
Edward eyes widened.
He didn't expect the news. He slowly let Andre go. Now he realized why he told Edward not to look into it.
How could it be.
Andre looked at him, "It seems you won't get the chance to get your revenge." His words filled with nothing but sorry for him.
Edward clenched his fist with hate.
He knows very well. That he stood no chance against S-rank. He's completely lost all hope on his revenge.
S-rank are monster themselves.
He had heard about Ivan Walker. He was a famous S-ranker in Raven Guild. Not only that, Ivan class was a rare type. His class was beast type. Rumor has it. He can transform into a humanoid wolf form.
Tears started to fall under his eyes.
"Damn it... this isn't fair..." His tone filled with weak and hopeless.
Edward lost the will to even go further with his revenge. Knowing well, it was useless. He can't go against an S-rank.
It was suicide task if he got involved.
Andre felt bad for him.
"At least you know. It's better to move forward." He said with kind gesture. He hopes that Edward will forget about his revenge and move on.
Andre said, "But... if you still hold hatred and continue with this ridiculous revenge. I'll even be there to stop you." His eyes show coldness while giving him a threatening tone.
He slowly walks away from Edward.
Not far...
Endless was hearing their conversation from far distance from the opposite side. He was able to hear their conversation from a distance.
"S-rank..." He muttered.
He was sitting while leaning back with a relaxing form. While interested by the news of a new S-rank. He has not yet known off.
