Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Well Done

"Mr. Bege, are you looking down on my subordinates?"

The voice coming from the Dan-Dan-Mushi sounded dismissive: "They will easily and happily deal with you and your subordinates, then prepare everything and calmly await my return. As for you... I'm no longer interested in watching your final end.

Farewell, Bege, you've been expelled from 'Coral'."

"What... wait! I want you to listen to your subordinates' screams as I torment them... Don't hang up the Dan-Dan-Mushi!"

Click!

The other end of the Dan-Dan-Mushi hung up. Robin hugged the Dan-Dan-Mushi and retreated two steps, hiding behind the old man Windrew.

Capone Bege's eyes burned with a rage that threatened to consume everything. Even at the very end, you still want to humiliate me, Victor... Very well, you will regret this.

Everything you cherish, I will utterly destroy!

Clansner held his twin-bladed rapier level, its tip pointed at Capone Bege's forehead.

"Bege, the boss has given the order. From now on, you are no longer a member of 'Coral'."

He took a deep breath, his gaze hardening. His rapier shot out like lightning, thrusting towards Capone Bege's forehead!

"Rhapsody: Passione Solo Dance!"

At the same time, the 'Coral' cadres and gang members outside the manor had already raised their firearms and longswords, launching their extermination operation against the hesitant 'Capone Gang' members within the manor.

Amidst the hail of bullets, Capone Bege was shaken by a powerful direct thrust from Clansner, losing his footing and retreating several steps. Bege shook his head, trying to shake off the slight dizziness: "Clansner, you're wasting your time! Ordinary blades and guns can't break through my defense, you'll only... Ugh!"

Before Capone Bege could finish speaking, a storm-like flurry of continuous stabs overwhelmed him.

"Symphony: Troop Dance and Chant!"

Clansner's black bowler hat had long since flown off, his expression obscured by the shadows of the night, but the twin-bladed rapier in his hand was relentless, like a raging storm!

Although Capone Bege was not actually injured, the continuous powerful impacts caused him to constantly retreat, and the vibrations to his internal organs and brain became increasingly severe.

The castle inside his body became a mess. Under the violent shaking, the gang members within his internal castle couldn't even stand steadily, let alone help Capone Bege provide fire cover. Goatie's heavy firepower unit at the 'Hand Gate' managed to stay somewhat steady, but whenever Capone Bege tried to raise his palm to aim at Clansner, his arm would be heavily struck by two slashes, pressing him down so he couldn't lift his hand at all.

The continuous stabbing lasted for 3 minutes. Capone Bege was already in a semi-conscious state, barely standing by sheer willpower, his whole body full of openings. Only two questions echoed in his muddled mind: Wasn't my defense impregnable? Why could a mere Clansner suppress me?

Clansner, breathing heavily, took a stance, his sword tip pointed at Capone Bege's chest, and softly said:

"Goodbye, my friend..."

The next instant, Clansner was already behind Capone Bege. He slowly paced, gradually sheathing his twin-bladed rapier into his cane.

"...Requiem: Dance of Sacrifice."

A second of stillness, then Capone Bege's chest spurted blood, and he fell to the ground with a thud.

"Well done... my frien... d..." His dying words were drowned out by the sound of gunshots, roars, and fierce fighting.

Figures emerged from beside Capone Bege's body, a sign that the Castle-Castle Fruit was beginning to lose its effect.

"Boss!" "How is this possible... the Boss actually..." "Hey, run away quickly, or the 'Coral' guys will kill us!" "Mercy! I surrender! Spare me!"

A considerable number of 'Capone Gang' members either scattered like frightened birds or knelt in surrender, but all were mercilessly executed by the 'Coral' cadres and gang members who had sealed off the area. The order from above was—"Leave no one alive!"

The remaining ten or so 'Capone Gang' members guarded Capone Bege's corpse, taking off their hats and placing them on their chests as a sign of mourning, then uniformly pulled out their pistols and committed suicide.

With this, the 'Capone Gang' was completely annihilated.

Clansner picked up the black bowler hat that had fallen to the ground, brushed off the dust, and then slowly walked to Capone Bege's supine corpse, gently placing the hat over his face.

Then he turned to look at Windrew. The old man had now lowered his pistol, covering his waist with a pained expression.

"Mr. Windrew? Are you injured?" Clansner was a little panicked and quickly ran over to support the old man.

"No... I just held the pistol for too long, and my back gave out. Oh, thank you, Miss Robin, you're truly a kind angel." Windrew sat in the chair Robin had brought, catching his breath: "With this, the internal crisis is resolved."

Robin asked with a worried expression: "Is Boss Victor alright? From what Capone Bege just said, it seems there's a trap waiting for the boss in Clock Tower Village."

Windrew shook his head: "The boss has anticipated everything. All we can do is secure the base and calmly await the boss's Victorious return. Alright, Clansner, go and lead the cadres and gang members to clear the battlefield. Seriously, this beautiful manor lawn has been made a complete mess..."

The night was still long.

Meanwhile, on the sea.

"Onii-chan, did that Bege really betray us?"

Perona looked at Victor, who had hung up the Dan-Dan-Mushi, with a surprised expression: "I thought that short, stout man had been tamed by Perona-sama's ten thousand ghost bombs!"

Victor leaned back in his chair, leisurely saying: "I know exactly what kind of person Capone Bege is. He's simply an untamable wild wolf. If he had obediently remained our warehouse manager, we could have coexisted peacefully. It's just a shame he committed the grave crime of 'colluding with an outside enemy,' so I had no choice but to expel him from 'Coral'."

Mai Hime handed Victor a peeled apple and asked curiously: "But since we're not at headquarters, who could possibly subdue Capone Bege? Is he also a sorcerer?"

Victor took a bite of the apple, speaking indistinctly with his mouth full: "Clansner can deal with him. His swordsmanship is inherited from 'Soul King' Brook, the former captain of the Elu Kingdom's guard. He's a rare talent, but he preferred not to fight and was suppressed and suspected by the previous boss, Pippin, which is why he wasn't well-known in the gang."

"I initially didn't want Clansner to confront Capone Bege directly; after all, friends killing each other is too cruel. But Clansner insisted on personally guarding the headquarters building, so I had to let him. Although Capone Bege's Devil Fruit ability is strong, he himself is not skilled in swordsmanship. Once Clansner gets close to him, he's like a lamb to the slaughter, after all..."

Victor quickly finished the apple, then took a handkerchief and wiped his hands: "After all, Capone Bege doesn't truly possess 'invincible defense'."

At this moment, Perona looked up at the distant sea. Her ghost cluster, floating in the sky as a lookout, had made a discovery.

"Onii-chan, Clock Tower Island is almost here."

"Excellent..." Victor stood up and stretched his shoulders: "Let's go meet this 'King of the Zombies'!"
