Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The End of the Incident and the Reward

Shielding the old man behind him, Natsui took the initiative and commanded: "Everyone, let's go!"

His several Pokémon launched their moves at once. Instantly, a flurry of multicolored attacks flew towards Murkrow and Arbok.

Ariana, while having her Pokémon dodge, mocked him, "Ganging up on me, huh? Your style is certainly a bit different from the average trainer's!"

Natsui didn't say much in response to her taunt. After all, this wasn't a trainer battle; there was no need to follow any battle rules.

However, her two Pokémon were indeed powerful. Even while being assaulted by several Pokémon, they could still seize opportunities to counterattack.

"Murkrow, use Wing Attack! Arbok, use Sludge Bomb!"

Seeing this, Natsui certainly didn't back down, choosing to meet her head-on.

"Charmander, use Ember! Squirtle, use Water Gun!"

The moves clashed and created an explosion. But since Natsui had more Pokémon, he continued his commands: "Jolteon, use Thunder Shock! Ivysaur, use Razor Leaf!"

Murkrow and Arbok couldn't dodge in time and were each hit by a move, letting out a low cry of pain.

"Tch!" Ariana gritted her teeth. In the end, she had underestimated the man before her, and even more so, the number of Pokémon he had.

"Excellent!" Seeing his attacks were effective, Natsui pressed his advantage, "Kirlia, use Psychic and hold them in place!"

Arbok, which had been dodging attacks, was suddenly pulled by the psychic power. Its body froze, giving Natsui's Pokémon the perfect opportunity to focus their fire, and it was hit by several moves at once!

Taking hit after hit, Ariana could see the situation was dire. As unwilling as she was, the circumstances forced her to make the most logical decision.

"Darn it, we're retreating!"

With that, she recalled Arbok with its Poké Ball, took a running start, and leaped out of the shattered office window from over twenty stories high!

Then, Natsui just saw a black shadow flash before him. Murkrow swooped past, grabbed one of Ariana's arms, and carried her far away from the Silph Co. building.

Seeing that Ariana was truly gone, Natsui let out a long sigh of relief. Looking at the wreckage, he turned and said apologetically, "Sorry about making such a mess of your office."

The old man smiled kindly: "It's alright. Compared to my life being safe, what does this little bit of damage matter?"

Unexpectedly, however, Ariana's retreat seemed to trigger a chain reaction.

The sounds of battle in the hallway had stopped. The voices of the Team Rocket Grunts could no longer be heard. When Natsui opened the office door, he came face-to-face with Sabrina.

"Are you okay?" Natsui asked with concern, his gaze looking past her shoulder to the hallway behind her.

"I'm fine." Sabrina shook her head. "We were in the middle of fighting, but I don't know why, they all suddenly retreated."

At this point, besides the traces of the recent battle, there was no sign of Team Rocket in the hallway. Even the grunts who had fainted had been taken away by them!

"Maybe it's because their plan was disrupted and there was no hope of kidnapping this gentleman, so they chose to leave."

With that, Natsui recalled his other Pokémon one by one, leaving out only Kirlia and Gastly.

The old man's gaze shifted back and forth between Natsui's face and the Poké Ball containing Zapdos, and he gave an imperceptible nod.

He said with sincere gratitude, "Thank you both so much. If you hadn't lent a hand today, not only would this company have been completely destroyed, but the world itself might have suffered a catastrophe."

This was no exaggeration. In fact, if the Master Ball had truly fallen into Team Rocket's hands and been mass-produced, it would have inevitably caused severe damage to the ecological balance.

"We only did what we could." After speaking, Natsui turned to Sabrina and said, "There are still many researchers locked up in other places. I think we should call the police first and let them handle it."

Sabrina nodded and went downstairs to take care of the related matters. Natsui had Gastly scout the area to see if there were any other potential dangers nearby.

When all this was done, the old man invited him back into the office.

"I'm sorry, I haven't had a chance to introduce myself," the old man said. "My name is Silph, and I am the president of this company."

Natsui had figured that out already. He said, "Hello, Mr. Silph. I'm Natsui, a Pokémon Trainer."

Mr. Silph invited Natsui to rest for a moment on the badly damaged sofa. He studied him for a long time, and as if he had finally made a decision, he slowly walked to a wall, activated a switch, and revealed a high-tech safe inside.

He entered his fingerprint, opened the safe, and took out a Poké Ball from within.

The appearance of this Poké Ball was different from a regular Poké Ball or a Great Ball. Its lower half was the normal white, but its upper half was bluish-purple, with two pinkish semi-circles on the sides that looked like a fly's eyes, and in the very center, there was a large 'M' written on it.

Walking over to Natsui, Mr. Silph handed him the Poké Ball and said solemnly, "As a reward, I intend to give you this Master Ball."

"Isn't this gift too valuable?" Natsui quickly stood up. For him, although the Master Ball was precious, he preferred to capture his favorite Pokémon through battle.

"Take it." Mr. Silph let out a long sigh. "We've only produced a few Master Balls, and it has already caused such a huge commotion.

If the research were truly completed, who knows what other trouble it would attract."

Natsui asked, "Then why not seal it away forever?"

Mr. Silph shook his head, as if he had seen through everything: "No matter where a treasure is buried, it will always attract the greedy. It's better if I leave it in your care."

Seeing his firm attitude, Natsui pondered for a moment and no longer refused, accepting the weighty gift with both hands.

When Sabrina returned, Natsui decided to leave quietly before the police arrived to avoid any trouble.

After all, whether it was Zapdos or the Master Ball, he didn't want to reveal any information to the outside world.

The two said goodbye to Mr. Silph and took the elevator outside the building. Watching the sun slowly set, although they had only been inside for a few short hours, the series of intense battles made them feel as if a lifetime had passed.

Just then, Sabrina said, "Well, since the request is completed, I should be getting back to my Gym."

Natsui turned to look at her. He wanted to say something to thank her, but in the end, he didn't say a word, simply extending his right hand.

"I hope we can meet again sometime."

Sabrina nodded, and her soft hand clasped his.

"My intuition tells me we definitely will!"
