Chapter 130 - Chapter 130

After his death, Whitebeard jr became the second mighty figure to fall.

Kaido, having regained consciousness, chose once again to close his eyes and continue pretending to be dead.

At this moment, Good stood in the center of the battlefield, gripping the Great Elder in his hand like a war god.

Everyone felt deep exhaustion, helplessness, and despair.

It was undeniable—Good's power had reached unimaginable levels. Otherwise, how could he fight as if it were a mere game?

How could they rescue the Great Elder from Good's grasp? It was a perilous, almost hopeless endeavor.

At this point, Fujitora spoke faintly:

"Great Elder, I have a way to help you escape, but you may suffer severe injuries."

The Great Elder no longer cared whether he would be wounded. He only knew that if he didn't escape from Good's hand, he would perish. Being gravely injured was still better than dying.

Hearing his response, Fujitora nodded.

He then assumed a grand stance, drawing his blade with a shout and slashing outward.

At first, everyone thought some world-shaking miracle was about to occur, but after waiting a moment, nothing seemed to happen.

Good remained standing in place, untouched.

Just as doubt spread, the sky suddenly trembled. With a deafening roar, a massive meteor broke through the thick clouds, plummeting straight down.

The crowd below was stunned.

"A… a meteor?!"

"Fujitora, the Admiral candidate, can summon meteors?!"

"This is unbelievable!"

"Wait—look! Not one, but two meteors?!"

Everyone froze in shock. It was nothing short of divine power, far beyond ordinary men.

Two colossal meteors streaked down, blazing with fiery tails, tearing the air apart with explosive booms.

Inside the birdcage, Momousagi and Tokikake were dumbfounded.

"Good, dodge it quickly!" Momousagi cried out.

She knew his character—he would surely choose to face it head-on—so she tried to persuade him otherwise.

These weren't mere stones. Each meteor could wipe out everything within a hundred miles.

Tokikake was trembling, his voice stammering with fear.

Whitebeard furrowed his brow.

"I didn't expect the Navy had recruited such a formidable fighter."

Shanks turned toward him.

"Can you stop them?"

For swordsmen and martial masters like Shanks and Rayleigh, such an attack was nearly impossible to block.

But the strongest man, Whitebeard, wielded the Gura Gura no Mi, so perhaps he could.

"I can shatter one… but not the second. They're too close together. It's impossible to counter both."

He sighed, voice heavy.

"To smash even one will drain me greatly. Better to avoid them if possible. But…"

He glanced forward.

"Good looks like he intends to take them head-on."

Indeed, Good raised his eyes at the meteors and grinned.

"I'm getting excited now!"

"This attack… has some bite!"

Then he did the unthinkable. Gripping the Great Elder tightly, he began to channel his power.

Conqueror's Haki surged around the Great Elder's body, though it was Good's will that bound him.

Fujitora was shocked.

"He… he intends to take it directly?!"

The Second Elder, Fourth Elder, Fifth Elder, Sengoku, and countless other powerhouses stared in disbelief.

Wasn't the obvious choice to dodge?

Or to throw aside the Great Elder and avoid the strike?

"This madman… to face such a calamity head-on?!"

Aramaki was astounded. He had heard tales of Good's recklessness, but this went beyond all reason.

No normal person would ever attempt such a thing.

The Great Elder, caught by the leg, was horrified.

His face twisted as he screamed:

"Fujitora! Cancel it! Cancel the attack at once!"

It was madness.

Good clearly intended to wield him as a weapon against the meteors.

Fujitora grimaced and tried to halt them with his gravity powers.

But these meteors were vast, summoned with his full strength. Their acceleration was too great to stop so suddenly.

The two meteors continued to plunge toward the earth.

Panic spread among the soldiers. Many staggered back in shock; some turned to flee outright.

If the meteors landed, ordinary men would be the first to die.

Below, Good chuckled darkly.

"My power is ready!!"

With a thunderous stomp, the ground split into a massive crater as his body rocketed skyward.

In his grasp, the Great Elder was swung like a colossal blade, aimed to cleave the meteors apart.

"No! Good! You can't do this! I'm one of the Five Elders! You'll be making an enemy of the entire world!"

The Great Elder was utterly frantic.

But Good ignored him.

The meteor plunged; Good ascended.

As they closed in, the Great Elder made one final desperate choice—he transformed into his blazing phoenix form.

The phoenix cried out, its wings spreading wide, flames roaring skyward.

But the heavens thundered, and an instant later, the impact came.

The meteor smashed against him, its apocalyptic force far beyond nuclear firepower.

The phoenix's wings tore, blood sprayed, and the flames could not hold.

Good, clutching the Great Elder, roared and unleashed his own fiery aura, wrapping the meteor in layers of blazing cloud.

The Great Elder's body began to collapse, torn apart under the strain.

His shrieks of pain echoed, growing weaker with every second.

Finally, the meteor crumbled, shattered from the outside in, then bursting apart from within.

Countless flaming fragments rained down like hellfire, spreading destruction across the battlefield.

Soldiers screamed, scattering in terror. Sengoku shouted orders, marshaling the others to fend off the deadly debris.

In that moment, the Great Elder let out one last pitiful cry.

The first meteor had been destroyed—and with it, the Great Elder's life ended.

Already dying, his remaining life force had been stolen by Good.

Good tossed the broken corpse aside.

"Trash."

Then he surged upward again—charging straight toward the second meteor.
