This island was surrounded by countless ships. Originally a deserted island, it was now packed with people.
The leaders of various nations had gathered here to attend the Justice League council and discuss joining. But besides that, there was another reason many had come — to see Good in person.
Good was like a mascot… no, more accurately, like a famous celebrity.
He sat at a table while one by one, people queued to greet him, shake his hand, and even take photos.
At first, Good was quite interested, enthusiastically chatting with the leaders. But as time dragged on, it became nothing but a chore. It was unbearably tedious.
Just as Good was thinking about how to escape, his powerful Observation Haki picked up a report being delivered to Whitebeard, Dragon, Fujitora, and Shanks.
Big Mom had ignored the Justice League's announcement and launched an invasion of another nation.
This was no small matter — if the Justice League ignored it, it would be a humiliating slap in the face. Naturally, they couldn't just stand by.
For Good, however, this was the perfect excuse to slip away.
He suddenly widened his eyes and bellowed with a thunderous voice that shook the hall.
Everyone turned to stare at him in shock.
Good roared:
"The Big Mom Pirates are bold indeed! To ignore the Justice League's declaration and invade another country… if we don't teach them a lesson, the Justice League will be nothing but a laughingstock!"
"Everyone, wait here! I'll deal with this matter personally!"
The hall fell silent.
Whitebeard, Dragon, Shanks, and Fujitora all exchanged speechless looks.
Good's intentions were plain to them — he just wanted an excuse to get away from this tiresome meet-and-greet. And yet he dressed it up so righteously.
With his current strength, Good had long since lost interest in Emperor-level opponents. If he weren't desperate to escape boredom, he would've left Big Mom to the others.
Still, before anyone could stop him, Good leapt into the sky and shot upward.
The shockwave of his departure left the gathered leaders stumbling, awe etched on their faces.
At that moment, Momousagi ran out, shouting at the top of her lungs:
"Good!!! You're flying in the wrong direction!!!"
The whole crowd sweatdropped.
People exchanged bewildered glances.
For the first time, doubt crept into their minds — was joining Good's Justice League really reliable? His strength was undeniable, but his sense of direction… left much to be desired.
…
New World, second half.
On an island once under Shanks's control, Big Mom had launched her attack. With Shanks now serving as a Justice League official, the territory was left unguarded — and Big Mom seized the chance to expand her domain.
Her dream had always been to create a land where all races could live together. If she weren't so unstable, cruel, and insane, her vision might have been admirable.
But her monstrous nature doomed her as a leader.
Wherever she struck, few nations could resist. By killing their rulers and installing her own children or vassals, the territory would quickly fall under her rule.
Now, just as she prepared to break through the castle walls —
A shadow plummeted from the heavens.
With a resounding boom, dust exploded skyward.
When it cleared, Good stood there, Momousagi clinging tightly around his neck.
She had no choice but to come along — without her guidance, the directionless Good would've gotten lost.
The soldiers on the walls cheered at the sight.
"That's… the Reckless Admiral?!"
"No — he's no longer a Marine! That's Good, leader of the Justice League!"
"Didn't you hear? The Justice League declared itself a new government. Any nation can join and receive their protection!"
"But… our country didn't join. Why is he here to help us?"
"Didn't you read the news? The Justice League said membership isn't forced. They'll still maintain peace and forbid aggression between nations."
"That's right! At first I thought it was just talk, but now… their leader himself is here! They mean it!"
For this nation, Good's arrival was nothing short of salvation.
Across the battlefield, the Big Mom Pirates stiffened.
"Reckless… no, Nicholas Good!? He came here himself?!"
The Justice League was really going to act!
Even Big Mom's children and ministers went pale. They had seen his power before — they knew what he was capable of.
But Big Mom herself simply narrowed her eyes, her voice heavy.
"Good, this is between me and this country. As a third party, you shouldn't interfere. Do you really think a few words on paper give your Justice League the right to rule the world?"
Her words dripped with challenge.
But the only response she received was a fist flying straight toward her.
